Happy Holidays to those who celebrate Christmas and those who don’t :). It’s still November but I’m excited! I celebrated Winter Solstice and Christmas together.
What a lovely, fun dessert! And thank you for showing how to do it using hand tools. I do not (yet? I hope!) have a big mixer or food processor so this aspect is greatly appreciated! This recipe is such an inspiring dessert, too, as any one of those parts alone would make a fantastic holiday dessert: Raspberry sauce over the green cake, orange curd with whipped cream in a dish, diplomat cream by itself, or any of them in the sugar dome like a bowl! This is one of those Christmas gifts that has so many boxes inside the big box that it's like the epitome of Christmas by itself. And all the recipes are easy. WOW.
I had just seen a video by Scrumdiddlyumptious and they make the same dome on a cake. It's amazing how many of Ann's videos 4 to 6 years old already are about making such desserts even if inspired by someone else, and giving them their rightful credit too. Hats off to her originality. She's one passionate person truly loving her job..and gives the same love to others around too! Merry Christmas everyone!!

Fancy Cosplayers I imagine you don't have to use nuts at all. Any normal flavoring will probably work.
