@JayBBluejay Both Wink Martindale and (Late) Elaine Stewart are the Early 1970s Host and Hostess way before Pat Sajak and Vanna White. But on that Note she will be missed by a hole lot of TV Game Show Fans all over the world.
21 is the highest you can get in Gambit. If the Livingstons had gotten 21, they would have won automatically. Also, why didn't they just deal the cards instead of asking questions and dealing the cards? I don't know. I don't really think about it.
One thing I don't understand, if the Ferraros needed to beat 21 and the Livingstons were frozen why didn't they just deal the cards instead of asking questions and dealing the cards.
Yeah, this is another cool show that I haven't seen until now, thank goodness for UA-cam
Pure Heater-Quigley right down to the fairly easy questions. But I like it. Nice and straightforward
the rule states you have to answer questions to keep getting cards, if you have an incorrect answer you are stuck with that total.

Hey - thanks for posting this. How did you get this? I mean, wasn't this before VCRs and recording? A blast from the past! Thanks!
That makes sense
@cottagechskitty Same was the case on "High Rollers".

I suspect that if they had gotten a question wrong, they wouldn't have been able to get any more cards. Just a guess, though.
At least it's not annoying as the super loud horn in "Hollywood Squares".
It does a little bit
