I'm not letting go of my 6MT G37S Sedan. It may not be worth as much to other people, but 1. they're not making cars like that anymore, 2. they're getting harder to find, and 3. that car has been with me through some of the darkest moments of my life so far, so it has a lot of sentimental value to me. It was never a car I looked forward to owning or specifically wanted, but now that I have one, I'm keeping it.

As an 04 g35 coupe 6MT owner I am personally really proud of the z, g, and q lineup since I’ve been alive. They’ve stuck true to the gorgeous design, manual transmission, and rwd. Definitely going to keep my g as long as possible, but I really hope to own the new ‘23 z one day as well.
Same I have a 04 G35 coupe that’s been with me thru it all and now it doesn’t have a motor or trans… I’m saving up to put back motor/trans and back on the road
I've got an 03 G35 Coupe 6MT and I'm not getting rid of mine. I've been slowly replacing stuff on it and the way I see it is, I could trade it in or pay ~$20k for a different car new/used ish, orrrrrr I could use 20k to invest into my G. I'm choosing the latter.

i just sold my 06' coupe on FB marketplace and i got about 80 messages of people only asking is it available within 5 hours of it being posted, until that one serious person popped up, 99% of the people are going to waste time

Vortech v3 kit is a great way to go. That's what I did with mine, 427hp/354tq makes the car so much fun to drive and the exhaust sounds perfect. Considering some used kits go for 3k it was almost a no brainer decision for me.
With the right tune it can be very reliable due to the low tourqe output.

I had that happen to me when I was trying to sell a 5spd is300 before they got expensive. I was asking for $3000 everyone kept lowballing $800-$1,000. After a week One guy came and looked at the car and gave me the $3000 I was asking for no problem. I now have a 05 G35 Sedan 6spd and won't let it go.
i own one, not as nice as yours. For the last 8 months i've been watching auctions in australia, the prices are going up. so now I have to make up my mind how I can maintain/improve my car. I wont sell it.

Burns Oil like there is no tomorrow but I still enjoy driving it, I will be rebuilding the engine with boost in mind in the near future.
You and I are in the same boat....with boosting. I've seen so many g owners go with the vortech supercharger and push 400hp and then they all go for turbo/engine build or swap. It's like build the DE? VHR swap? LS swap? Etc.

Get the HR Bump Carbon Creations hood to go with the CF trunk,Upgraded CV axles and a one piece driveshaft maybe some carbon fiber mirror caps and Carbon Fiber interior pieces...Btw I will not sell my car it has been a work in progress for about 3 years and needs alot of restoration on the paint and body,but its a daily with 239,000 . I just installed the Motordyne TDX2 paired with MD ART pipes and it is insane at WOT to say the least...

I'm in the 760, the budda surfer town. A good friend of mine who moved to Ohio from California said the exact same thing 15 years ago. That California is full of flakes and people are more genuine in the Midwest and he wasn't wrong.

They are not mods. They are improvements . I've seen a write up. years ago, for which Car manufacturers state. We would put wider tiers and wheels on the cars we make. But the car market will be more expensive . So its up to the buyers to improve on these. We need to sell cars . Plus other improvements. Thats why aftermarket parts are approved By auto makers . [But now the pen pushers. trying to stop all the improvements ]. AS long the job is done right

Good luck in California with smog, modifications, exhaust, motor swaps and etc. Not a car place Arizona was probably better. You might get tired of it if your a car person

That’s unfortunate you had this experience with the Marketplace. I’ve had great success selling cars below 6k on there. Quick tip only respond to “is this available” with another generic response. Don’t let ‘em disturb your peace sir.
I had a great experience selling my Prius on Facebook marketplace. The "is it available" is a message they select because too lazy to even type.
The key is asking for phone numbers and then calling, which weeds out the tire kickers. People who say whoah I do not give out my number like that, I quit typing anymore to time-wasting tire kickers. Think about how much time you speed answering 100's of messages from lonely bored tire-kickers making low ball offers.
That's the very reason I stay off Facebook, too much BS going on. And market place is a joke for the most part.. 🙄
Facebook came out in 2005, was only accessible with a college email address. I was on Facebook for 10 years. Then once your mom and grandma is on it, it became fakebook. Drama is a drug and there are a lot of addicts on Facebook. I was kicked off Facebook for not selling my car but got my account back after 30 days. A lot of complaints from feminine males that my ad was fake. Women tattle.
The only reason I redownload the app was for Facebook marketplace. I hate Facebook too.

Just curious if you'd ever think about doing the G37 front end conversion to your G. Kind of want to do it with mine.
No I like the Nismo front bumper. Everyone has updated to the LED lights with the Audi LED strip and G37 front end conversion, people will not even know what my car is 10 years from now because there will not be any clean g35's left. The exterior is done for me. Not that I don't like the conversion, I just like mine better.

20% but over the years it’s faded, not purple but not as dark as it used to be. It’s not ceramic tint, I had this tiny before ceramic. Looking to re-tent at 5% in the back and 20% up front

The biggest thing I've found since I bought my G is that you will NEVER get the money out of your G that you put into it ... my car has over $100g in mods and I will never see over $20g for my car 👍
100g into your G? Got any pics? Yeah, I already know that. That’s why you part it out if you are ever serious about selling it. Asking 12k for mint condition G with 20k in mods wasn’t unreasonable.
The highest offer at 8k was unreasonable when bone stock Gs were selling for 10k of the same year.
@@MotordyneG35 Yes $100g , but only about 25g is from me ! When I bought the car from California , it had already been rebuilt to the tune of about $50 g ... Greddy Twin Turbos , Motordyne exhaust , Wildwood brakes - front and rear , Balanced and blueprinted $10k engine rebuild , $5k beefed up auto transmission , $3500 Kaaz rear end and probably more that I have forgotten , but I still have that build sheet somewhere .. Then I had it painted and added some crazy fiberglass (fenders and hood) to the front end 😱. The car is currently stuck in Washington state having an engine rebuild (long story)and definitely a sore subject , since I have been waiting 2.5 years for the car to be done , and counting 😟

My first car was a 240sx and the entire reason I wanted a Nissan was my first sighting of a 90's 300zx. Way back then I remember first seeing one and thought is was a lambo in my small farmer town in Ohio. The 300zx is one of my favorite Nissan's!

I know this and that's why the G will never be for sale. You always have to part it out to get any money back. Selling my wheels and suspension would get me the 8k. Which was the best offer; with cash in hand, for the entire car. I listed out 20k in mods and asked 12k which was reasonable. People really were serious asking to buy it for 4k cash in hand.
Don’t sell bro, also I have a 2006 G with blue GT badging. I think it’s factory but the badges look like the R33/34 badging but blue and white. From researching the badge colors, Blue and white is N/A. I bought from a guy that would track it and later bought a Porsche. I know your a G enuthesist
I'm really sorry that you had to deal with all of these disrespectful, loser, time wasters, who never had any real intention in the first place of buying your amazing G35 in the first place. It's a real shame that so many people shopping to buy a used modded/used car, have low, or no character or integrity, and don't respect other people's time, and selfishly insist on wasting other people's time, energy and money, knowing that these disrespectful losers don't care about anyone else but themselves.
I was a potential buyer over the past few months, and wound up settling on buying this car. Incidentally, the owner had a 4-month contract for consignment with the GR Auto Gallery in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and when the contract was up, he took back possession of the car, and coincidentally at the tail end of his contract, I was able to find the most recent owner, who did the build on his G35, an online G35 forum, on his G35
I wound a paying $20,000 cash/cashier's check, flying from York, Pennsylvania to Grand Rapids, Michigan to consummate the deal.

I will never sell my G, ever. It was a test to see what people would pay. My wheels cost 4k without tires and my suspension cost 3k. You now see my point, never selling.
