Ford power is THE Power. Despite its many build issues and quality questionability, the Pantera remains one of the baddest supercars ever built. Unfortunately, that fact is causing the cost to increase, so now only a rich man can afford one. It was originally built for the working man as well as the hobbyist and collector. There is a pattern forming in our culture, and with all this money everywhere (except where it should be) everything becomes a rich man's trick.

How do you think bill elliots car had the same hp as everyone else when he broke so many records for top speed , and dominated the season “magic juice” ? The compound valve angles made it easier to tolerate significantly higher compression, he was running in a league of his own, for a while. That 4v Cleveland head dominated super stock drag racing until the rule changes. My 351 cobra jet was street driven to work (cold idle was difficult) , made nearly 650 hp and shifted at 8000rpm . My friends drag car boss 302 ran to 11,000 rpm 600hp without nos .

Just under 175 mph. I would like to be able to cruise at 7200 rpm in 6th gear, but nowhere to do it in the US,at least where I live. Looks like these guys were having a hell of a lot of fun! 👍👍🏁🏁

Just sayin. AWESOME footage and even more AWESOME sound. Fabulous!
