I've taken a long hiatus from PD2, but will be back to play my all time favourite build - the Nova Sorc - following some huge buffs to the build. Please like and subscribe for more PD2 content leading into the D2R release!

Energy shield was used on static field nova sorc in .08 and .09...
s3 has been a lot of fun! great build. surprised to not see CBF anywhere in this build tho, guess you could get in from a swag corruption on silkweave or arachs.

Go to the PD2 launcher, click "Item Filter properties" then find the name above!
What I missed here is showcasing the 200 FCR build, that's why most would want to choose nova right? Doom looked great and unless you are playing HC, Infinity in staff should be the preferred choice, especially with the crazy -45-55 lightning resists that you can now carry.
So in essense, upped vipermagi +2, +20 FCR ring and get 200FCR... Doom thresher and you are gucci.
Also maybe show some T2 / T3 maps with ranged attacks. Cows are so mellow and save.

Hey Bora, great video again! Nova sorc is the main reason I want to play season 3. Interesting take on the holy freeze, that looks pretty nice and safe. What do you say to the old school approach of max block with something like gerkes or stormshield? I think it was the way to go back in the days.
Also as nova is HR hungry, how will/would you start the season until you can afford the basic nova gear? I am torn between Barrage and blizzard for the moment.... What are your thoughts?
Mana potions are banner if you have energy shield build.
What do you think about doom for a Frozen Orb sorc?
Just a random option I came up with try a act one merc with meditation and a ice bow for holy freeze and give her whatever can to keep her alive

Where can you get a 5 soc staff?
I’m trying to build this now , i’m missing only 1 ber from making the infinity . But it has to be max block or something cause i’m like a paper without it or i’m doing something wrong but i can’t see what :-s my poison necro is crushing tho :))
have you tried holding shift while you left click for nova? i think it should save you a lot of clicking.
If you get interrupted it won’t start casting again until you click again.
Did you check the option having act 3 light merc with static. Not sure but insight can be made now in swords too.
What do you think. Is this viable?
Insight is possible on scepters now ! Dont make the mistake to try the runeword in a sword !

I know this is old but just in case, quick heads up yo your audio is almost inaudible compared to everything else on youtube. Have you topped out but still struggling to hear, i switch over to another youtube vid and its so loud im in pain lol
what is this filter?
i feel like you will just get melted with infinity staff in non-cow maps. i just level up my sorc and can almost afford infinity. probly will go mercenary infinity and save up to run 200 fcr but cant afford it rn.
Use static to kill the lightning immune..
