DC's are why I don't play on Hardcore anymore. Lost both my guys to a DC and that was it for me, lol. First one was only level 14, so I didn't mind that too much. Not really much progress lost. Second guy was level 34, so that stung a bit more. Felt undeserved and I didn't have the heart to continue. HC players are made of different stuff than my casual ass can handle, lol. It's not that hard, but losing to a DC feels very crushing, because there's nothing you can prep for that.
Vanilla wow never dies !!!! when I'm financially independent, I will go for Rank 14 grind. I promised this to myself, no matter how old I will then be and how low the pop on the priv server will be :D

That DC chain was exactly why I didn't get into hardcore. Dude lost so much time and if you're not streaming then you're just some dude that lost 2-3 weeks of progress

Bout a dozen reasons here I'd never play hc on blizzard servers. No bragging rights, but at least on a self hosted repack I don't rely on someone else's infrastructure 😂
People are saying it was because an SoD update bugged that rum buff he has, which makes sense since it stopped DCing after he died and lost the buff. Bummer man 54

The priest at 3:00 is the reason i am healing myself. he is to stupid to play his class/roll right, so he deals dmg. there was no petri needed. just one click on your spell to lose some threat. Also no threat meter and Decursive is at the other side of the moon :D
3:58 this happened to us in SoD recently, something about how if you wipe on the boss then next time it spawns all these eles. Maybe they triggered the boss fight then reset, idk though its very strange
The second death is 100% malicious, either he's gotten hacked or he's account sharing. The DC's are "Someone else logged in" type DC's where you're instantly disconnected and is able to instantly log back in. The reason this feels the most reasonable is : The DC's start the second he pulls and ends once he's dead. It almost feels staged.
definitely feels very weird, but doesn't it say "this account was logged in from somewhere else" instead of "you have been disconnected" if someone else logs in?
@@ClassicHardcoreMoments No, you're 100% correct. Still, this feels malicious in some way. Blizzard doesn't have a perfect 20 seconds of constant DC's for 1 player, to then immediately stop after they're dead. Feels super sus overall.
@@hersheyquestlol yeah what @hersheyquestlol says. Xaryu has a short explaining it. It's the "rumsey rum black label" buff which is known to cause your character to DC. I think due to the screen blur and staggering effect being 'drunk' has on your character, which you can actually turn off with (/console ffxglow 0) apparently but never tested this myself

What I see 99% of the time are simply bad players. Shouting will not help these people to achieve anything. They should play WoW normally, that's all they're good for.

It's because of the Brew buff btw. In some cases this buff can cause disconnects. Also the reason why the dcs stopped after he was dead. Poor guy...

No it was the Rumsey Rum Stamina buff. This has been a bug, since latest sod patch or something. Happens in AQ20, STV, and some in ZG.
