    Thanks again for the great review! Will probably buy that one. Wanted to have a bit more compact, slicier bushcrafter (than lets say my Gunny scandi). And this just seems to check all the boxes. Havent tested lionsteel knifes yet, and also the sleipner steel seems to be a real good one. Btw. you have a great channel! I started my own, and did my first video yesterday. (Really awkward). But trying my best. Would appreciate if you have time to check the video, simple review on Jääkäripuukko and Sissipuukko95.
    The name of the channel comes from the fact that practically from my garden starts quite large wilderness area with old forest. Cheers from Finland!.

    Great review. Is the sheath ambidextrous?

    Do you prefer the green micarta scales over the black G10? Trying to decide between the two.

      Tough call Lionsteel does some nice handles I think I like the micarta just a bit more

    LionSteel are pretty much faultless.. my M3's (Micarta and Olive) are my go to in that 4 inch size range. I've been dabbling in Managio made knives for the last few years and in my humble opinion, FOX FKMD , Viper and LionSteel are all fantastic designers...
    Now all I have to do is make up my mind on a larger knife..
    the Lionsteel M7 (Sonewash/Green Micarta) or the FOX FKMD Combat Jungle... or do I pop over a border or two, to Czech made ANV P500 (has that 'Managio-style' finish)!!??

    I recently got a Delta Leather True-Lock Mini Shield Sheath from dlt trading and I think this would be perfect in it for edc, I use it for a Miguel Nieto Grillo although it is a very nice knife it's just a little too small and I love the sheath so much that I've been looking for the perfect knife to go in it and the B35 seems to be the 1!

    Love that they use screws/bolts so you can tighten the handle if its gets loose.

    Love Lionsteel designs but their heat treat of m390 is one of the worse in the industry :(

    • @Kevinclearysharpstuff
      @Kevinclearysharpstuff  3 роки тому +1

      This knife is Sleipner not M390 so not really a concern for this one

      Interesting. Do you have a Lionsteel M390 knife or other evidence other than that one guy on youtube who has done HRC tests and cut tests? I’ve seen other people saying their Lionsteel M390 performs well.

      @@issimonete It's mainly from Outpost76's tests. He's tested 5 Lionsteel M390 and they all were under 60 HRC. Lionsteel isn't the only company that heat treats their M390 poorly. They've just been tested to be the worst. (from a small sample) docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PzXZEuyMtOMoSDhyFUfDNV9MNbztMEvZ3OgRa6yT7QU/edit#gid=990688885

      @@ilzephyrli Why do they have to be 60 or above?

      @@issimonete there have been some tests where it tested on the soft side doesnt mean the knives are trash my M4 is great I dont know what the actual HRC is but performance is good
