- In this video I'll show "how to make your mic sound better" using Audacity in 2020. A lot of you asked me "how to make your mic sound professional" or just how to make a cheap mic sound better so that's why I make this Audacity recording settings guide. I also showed "how to remove background noise from a microphone" with audacity in this video, which will significantly help make a bad microphone sound better.

These in my opinion are the best audacity recording settings in 2020 and I say that because I covered multiple effects like the compressor and normalize tools, and even noise reduction! A lot of you wanted me to show how to find equalization in audacity which is pretty hidden in the new Audacity 2.3.3 update! I showed how to do that in the video, so I hope you enjoy! :)

MISSING FILTER CURVE SOLUTION 👇
If at 4:21 you don't see *Filter Curve* then you haven't updated your Audacity to the newest version! 😂
It might be called *Equalization* instead, and that's where you can do the Bass Boosting and Treble Boosting to make your Mic sound CRISPY 🎙️
Latest version is 2.3.3 and it's still missing. It was there when I messed with it a few days ago but now it's MIA.

Great Video, Love you content! I do have a few questions.
1. In you previous audio video, you said switch to 48khz. Is there a reason you didn't do that this time?
2. You added the hard limit change in this one. Did you mean to do normalize twice? Or just after that point?
3. In previous video you for noise reduction, you said leave sensitivity at 0 and only to change it if you still have noise. Now you are saying switch to 6 sensitivity. Why the change? Is it necessary to do that if zero works?
4. How do you move audio from OBS to
Audacity? Or are you going to show that in your new OBS video?

yes, under the tools section in audacity there is a thing called marcos which is like a chain. Try that out and insert all the thing Muazz says in this vid and save them into a marco
