Miss Ryl Just your typical Aussie biker gang. Couple weeks ago same type of guy overtook me on a double white line around a bend and nearly it an oncoming car then gave the finger to me. I just laughed which pissed him off more. He blamed me for going slow which I wasn’t. Basically at the end he blamed me for him overtaking illegally and nearly hitting an oncoming car. They’re all dickheads
Possibly but, like, even if you know them like, ask at the least. Cause like one slip up and they're having to pay out cause YOU'RE not insured to ride their bike. Snapped chain or something simple, sure. You're on a dirt track which I'll assume is made to have bumps and all. You could land a bump wrong and snap the springs or the entire suspension itself. You could clip the engine on the top of a bump and rip the engine from the holster and just from then shred the entire engine apart. Crash off, you destroy the body, which to me looks more like fibreglass frame on that. That'll still cost a lot to repair. Heck, you could simply misshift and brutalise the clutch. I've done that once myself on a road bike. I think it was a Honda Cbr 125. I was showing off in a group at an empty parking lot, tried to short shift to get a reaction from those watching us that didn't ride.... Went two gears down and forgot I was only in second as it was, thus slamming it into reverse. The clutch, gearbox and belt just quit existence. I was flung off and dislocated my shoulder and broke two finger and fractured a rib as the bike still revving at 8900 rpm from 9200 (not exact but it's something like that, revs at then we're the last thing on my mind XD) but 9200rpm in second to 8900rpm in reverse that sudden was basically like doing a sudden impact. It instantly slammed me forward as the wheel locked and tried to force the bike in reverse at 50mph.

@@ElCarlitoPR2 on your fuel tap often times there's three positions, on, off, and reserve. Once you run out of fuel in the on position, you can switch to reserve to use the remaining or "reserved" fuel to make it back to a fuel source.
Its quite an easy mistake to make when you first start riding, during the 90's most bikes had carbs and fuel taps, so much better these days with injection, reserve lights and fuel gauges. Some people are assholes, I remember when I had a car crash, luckily no one was hurt but we couldn't move the cars, especially mine as it was leaking everything but engine oil, some div stopped to give us a bollocking for holding up the traffic because we crashed, he was in his BMW, thinking he was all cool but soon fooked off when I walked towards his car, not a good day to be an asshole to someone.

Vernux Haha same to you, could have gone nasty seeing you were at night as well! Was a nightmare for me, was on a 60MPH road going up hill at rush hour and lost all power. Had no hazard lights so had to frantically do some funny hand signals to indicate the bike was screwed

I can't count how many times I've swerved and nearly crashed because a biker got a bit too close. It's not safe for you or others. I can understand going fast, but do that when others aren't around and the only person you could kill is yourself. Responsibility and respect go a long way in the automotive world.

A lot of bikers forget theyre less than half the visual footprint of a small car. Most drivers are subconsciously trained to see larger objects etc, and miss seeing the smaller objects. I’ll never forget the day I pissed off an old Harley guy, I nearly pulled out in front of him. What he didn’t realize, his bike was narrow enough that when I checked left, and then right, he was hidden behind a telephone pole awkwardly set directly on the corner of the intersection. No harm was done, except scaring the shit out of him, and pissing me off to, cuz I didn’t see him on my first two looks.

Yeah I noticed that too. If the car driver wants to be a dick and break the law by accelerating past the speed limit, fine let him. As long as he doesnt cause any damage to you or your property, who cares. Any accident he gets in is going to be his fault. But to accelerate yourself going well over the speed limit just to be the bigger dick in the situation makes you look like you're the one in the wrong.

Yup, exactly what happened. I stopped just before this and had to wait for a jump start (weak battery from the winter). Tires went cold and I definitely should have known better lol.
I once had my fuel system vapor lock on me and the engine stopped and a guy just sat there and honked his horn as I tried to start it. I walked over to him and said"If you think you can go and start it faster I promise to stay here and honk your horn for you." He drove off mad.

I can't count how many times I've swerved and nearly crashed because a biker got a bit too close. It's not safe for you or others. A lot of bikers forget theyre less than half the visual footprint of a small car. Most drivers are subconsciously trained to see larger objects etc, and miss seeing the smaller objects. I’ll never forget the day I pissed off an old Harley guy, I nearly pulled out in front of him. What he didn’t realize, his bike was narrow enough that when I checked left, and then right, he was hidden behind a telephone pole awkwardly set directly on the corner of the intersection. No harm was done, except scaring the shit out of him, and pissing me off to, cuz I didn’t see him on my first two looks.
