“We’re doing it for the next generation…” That statement certainly touched me… Best of luck for the society, and all that knowledge and insight they carry across to our future. 💛
Thanks for this episode. Really heartfelt from you Will, and from Barry. I remember sitting on the running plate of 499 at Barry Scrapyard many years ago. Hope to see her in steam soon!
I met a bloke and lady on the trains at Swanage who are volunteers at M&4M and they profess to know you. Had a real good chat as well. Keep up the great work.
I have just found your channel. I love all this old railway stuff as I used to work for BR/SWT out of Wim Park from 1989 till 1999 as a shunter then a gaurd then a second man on enginering and departmental workings. I have now subbed in. thanks for posting....
Love these videos, i live up north and its been around 10yrs sinceiwas able to vist so these videos realy do allow me to keep an eye on the railway, well done to you all.
I hope No. 449 will be completed one day. The return of the T3 has caused a huge rise in LSWR interest, and a few other railways (mainly the Bluebell) are trying to get their LSWR locos back in service. The S15 might hopefully gain a similar crowd when it’s fully built.
"Heritage look of our railways" says he in a hiviz :-). I do appreciate the necessity of it, don't get me wrong, but I somehow found it funny. Good vid, good work. Hope to visit the line again someday
Cracking video , but please consider running her as she last ran in BR livery , this is how us old sods remember them there can be no-one alive who remembers them in pre-nat' livery or if there is it will be a handful

I’m sure if you put those rusty bits on eBay you could raise a few Quid 🤔
Is there a date for Canadian pacific return to traffic
Seeing that the boiler has passed the hydraulic test and is being readied for the steam test, I would say late 2024 / early 2025
@@terrier_productions oh hi there
