- In this video we're looking at THREE BIG STORIES that blew up in the media and then went quiet... Let's chat about what we've learnt since these videos went up...
1. What happened to the Jaguar iPace Runaway EV guy?
2. What happened to the Luton Airport fire cars?
3. What happened to the Inchcape Dealership Flood?
A candid Saturday chat from Geoff

We have crooks in charge everywhere in nearly all professions!
yes - especially in the mainstream news media - constantly pumping agendas and propaganda, hiding real news stories, ignoring blatant truths... and peddling lies. off the scale bent! welcome to the UK 2024 - what a disgraceful mess!
Less of the antisemitism please
It's been widespread since the Normans stole our country @anglosaxon5874
@@Angus_____ They are just puppets.
Especially the legal profession!
The airport carpark fire just fizzled out.....unlike the fire itself.
And the Inchcape flood was a washout.
The thing with all this is , if they can treat those at the top end of car market in such ways . Then obviously they will give even less thought for those who are at the very low end of the scale . Certainly eventually those in possession of older vehicles will increasingly find it difficult to get realistic insurance coverage . So immediately taking a mass swath of the motoring population , out of the equation . What never you cry , we’ll sit back and enjoy the journey .
@@1A9lis There's going to be a lot of collapsing car manufacturers soon then. All the big names will be gone unless they wake up rapidly.
@@1A9lis Along with all of the vehicle insurers without anything to insure 😂
Well, it shoots down in flames so to speak that EV’s are safe. They destroyed a car park!
The car transporter ship fire gone very quiet as well.
It just quietly sailed by.
train load in Germany .not a peep
A proper FrakenFürter..
The terrorist attack in Liverpool went silent as well.
It seems like the MSN sunk that story.
Scotland. In excess of 17 million trees felled to make way for wind farms over the last 24 years. This needs looking at.
Not just Scotland but country wide, its almost as if they want us dead, no trees no Oxygen, higher CO2 yet we are told to give up everything that causes CO2 emissions.... odd isn't it?
Comment deleted by God... must have struck a cord.
If you have comment links to your email you'll see what I said... if its all bollocks why do they censor it?
Why make the Earth Inhospitable to us humans?? That's the real question?
How stupid is it also what has been done to the Amazon Jungle.
@@LaZoucheCustomshopI take solace when that happens to me. But it's bloody annoying🙄
Anyone noticing the horrendous noughts and crosses over our heads in the U.K.?
Also at night 👀
Cleethorpes whiteout!!!!!
it certainly is tday in grimsby - fog over the clock tower
It's been going on for years, it's just now they do it more blatantly as it's too late to stop them. The U.S. military do it at night using drones, in the UK they have 'tested' using different chemicals without our consent but with parliamentary approval so work that out as to how we are a democracy?
Oh and if you've noticed there aren't so many Police helicopters about? Well it's because they now use large high flying drones with surveillance equipment on board, cheaper and less maintenance plus unmanned and thus unknown as too whom they spy on.
Isn't it great being in the free Western world.... um nope!
@@Angus_____doing it evening time almost like trying to keep heat in, would suit a certain agenda
People should band together and slap lawsuits on the insurance companies. Plenty of lawyers do no win, no fee cases. And how the hell does anyone have a right to withhold other people's cars that have been legally left on their property? I don't understand how any law allows that.
To knowingly and willingly permanently deprive a person of their own personal property/possessions constitutes as theft under UK law.
Without good reason, isn't that what has taken place?
@@Angus_____ Of course. If people were living 'within their means' the fire would never have happened.
You're a genius.

It never ceases to amaze me when planners allow building on a flood plain.
I believe now it is done to help the climate change plan/panic Then they can report sea level is rising
Or when people invest their retirement savings in a house 200 metres from an eroding Norfolk cliff.
Well OF COURSE they do!! because if/when it floods, they can blame "Climate Change/Emergency/Crisis/Warming/Layer/Iceberg/Desert/of-the-week" and implement 15-minute control zones and 'pollution' (plant food/Oxygen factory) charging!
Then blame floods from bad planning on "climate change".
Another tragedy that shouldn’t be forgotten is fast approaching the first year anniversary. The Wimbledon crash. How long does it take to investigate one vehicle and driver?
story buried. most have involved someone "protected"
Thats the one I want to know about. At the bottom of a hill where big fancy gated houses exist? Who exactly was that? Families have dead kids….hush money?

I wonder if people are being forced to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements before they're paid out?
“Swept under the carpet” springs to mind.
We only hear what they want us to hear. Once the Luton fire had been reported and we all had 'It started with a diesel car' embedded in our minds, the story could then be withdrawn.
Any news on the Wimbledon school Land Rover deaths?
yeah i was wondering what had happened about that one.
I had a good look online a couple of weeks ago and could find nothing new. 🤔
@@cazfloss1990 The parents have been on TV recently, wondering why it has taken all this time to come to a conclusion. Police say it's because of a man power shortage, you would have thought this type of incident would have taken priority? Very strange situation.
@@tonypacke6954there's a 'rabbit' away here ?
@@rockatansky1305 I had to look that one up, a geordie expression, I figure your right.
Years ago I had a brilliant low mileage lovely burgundy Ford Escort Diesel, which was stolen. Even with a garage owner backing me up with a letter to say he could not replace it for less than £2400, the best the insurance would offer was £1600. So despite being insured, I was left out of pocket. In those days, a lot of money for me. Doesn't seem as though much has changed.
It's got a lot worse. People are losing ten's of thousands in many cases.
I drive a 25yr old people carrier, that is likely "worthless" in terms of insurance value, but would still cost me a few thousand to replace with a vehicle of equivalent utility.
@@Angus_____ I wasn't suggesting it was equivalent, but that insurance companies still minimise their payouts
@@stephengirling7859 I agree. IMO its terrible that people have been mis-sold the concept - it seems everyone loses from the manufacturers, the garages, the lease companies, to the private buyers - where is their redress?
If you fight it they have to give you the same spec and model and year. This happened to my daughter with a vaux corsa. They try to give you what the car is worth as a trade in. Just pick a couple of adds of auto trader and tell them to buy the car for you. They soon buck up and give you the retail value minus your excess of course.
A lot of us saw the short video of the vehicle that started the Luton Airport Car Park with disastrous impact.
The video shows horizontal flame throwers and white grey smoke. I think it was a hybrid JLR. Hybrids still have a large lithium ion battery. Fire service chief says it was a diesel fire. UTTER LIES. No black smoke and it takes a long time for the diesel tank at the back to erupt. I think the chief was “silenced” by the establishment
Exactly. Horizontal flames.
That Luton fire was deffo a lithium battery going 🔥
NO NO NO It was diesel. Surely you seen those pesky diesels everyday on fire alongside the roads??
Even when the owner of the vehicle responsible admitted to what had happened?
@@Richard482 OK Morag....

What happened with the family who had their EV disabled person van that went up in flames.
Was it a Motability EV Van and did they get a new one (ICE I hope) and everything repaired……?
And the other BIG one that seems to have been covered up is the Land Rover that crashed into a school when they were having an end of term party and killing a child; that has gone very quiet in the mainstream news.
If they did, they would probably still be out of pocket for the wheelchair adaptations
@@coffeebreaktheology2634 i seriously doubt it. Motability cars have become a particular fly in my ointment when I found close friends have an 'autistic" son (he isn't he's just a bit thick) that 'qualifies' for a motabity car as a learner? When he struggeled to master changing gear they've binned it in for an automatic one- no questions asked. Since looking into it I've realised they've had one for years (I could never previously understand how frequently the mother changed her car for a new car). It seems there's very little penalty for chopping and changing. Now some motability cars DO require a significant down payment but a relatively sensible choice might see you land a "free" as in paid by the rest of us car (alleged charity mainly government funded) and a £750 cheque for the privilege. Said people both work in frontline services and pay their way- but have handsome pensions shortly comming their way- but it's made me wonder how many other undeserving piss taking shysters there are out there also receiving such largesse
Insurance ......they drag everything out hoping you'll die before they pay out! My mate got knocked down on a zebra crossing, two smashed legs, SEVEN YEARS to get payout!

You are not allowed to know what the vehicle reg was
You are not allowed to see any image of the car at more than 64x64 pixel resolution 🙄

Diesel or gas fires rarely damage more than one car and a few around it. EVs should not be parked indoors and especially not in public buildings. All those hotels with parking underneath should stop allowing them immediately.
As EVs are far less likely to set on fire, there isn't a problem.
@stephenbirchall941 that jury is still out and the evidence is subject to tampering, but even if the EV doesn't start the fire, it will make it much worse.
I just don't remember many car park, dealerships, and transport ship fires causing total losses before EVs were in them.
Any electrical device that draws 100 KW is a huge risk. Charge stations do this for multiple cars at once.
@@stephenbirchall941 ban evs from parking kin buildings altogether and a minimum distance away if they belong to an ev club they should be prosecuted, have a good day!
@@Paragon62 well as EVs rarely set on fire and all insurers know that, there is nothing to worry about. Don't believe the fake social and news media.
@@michaellowe3665 the jury isn't out. Australian, Swedish and American insurer research all show EVs hardly ever set on fire. What happens is that the news and social media latch onto any possible EV fire and don't report the substantially more non EV fires.

‘Lacklustre’… a word that perfectly describes Britain today…. Malaise, decay and despondency summed up in 1 word. 🤬
We definitely see a degenerating society. My guess is much of that is controlled and very much by design.
What about that Defender that crashed into the Wimbledon primary school, killing that little girl..? What happened to that story..? Anyone..?
Maybe there's a gap in the market for a UA-camr to start a channel keeping us up to date with this and all similar stories.
Apparently, the partner of a Allen's snackbar franchisee was driving.
Rumour was it was a medical incident like the Bentley Bentayga A50 crash that took the lives of a father and son…
stealing from cars after accidents and damage caused from recovery places is not new back in 2002 my ex missus was going 50 mph on the a 29 near pullbrough in west sussex and a car pulled in front of her (she was in a H reg micra) she was airlifted too hospital, thankfully let out the same day but ,we were not allowed near the car in the pound where it was taken after the crash the contents were stolen from the car and 3 months later we got a parking ticket for the car so it was obviously rung as a repair was not viable also it took 5 years for compensation and she had too have ptsd and physical therapy for 2 years the insurance co was the AA I WILL NEVER USE THESE CLOWNS AGAIN the accident was so severe the police and the courts made the driver almost take his test again ,nothing new here
what has happend whith the ford wet belt engine failures
Still busy failing
Insurance has failed me numerous times, when I had full witnesses with regard to the accident they refused to take it to court against the person who actually apologised at the scene in front of the witnesses for creating the crash and they said it was my fault, I lost my no claims andmy insurance went up.
I mainly have insurance now to remain legal on the road,
that why its best to get dash cam
I had a car towed to a compound, after being "T" boned. I went to salvage yard to reclaim my belongings - even though the same driver who collected my car spoke to me, he would not allow access, as I had to prove the belongings were mine. Lucky enough I had inventory, and I also had to show V5, a letter with my address on. They had probably rifled through my boot while I was at Hospital. Still got my stuff in end - they were not happy. Still lost full tank of fuel, and Insurance valued my 5 month old car at £10k less.
That’s what gap insurance is for.
What's happening about the land rover/ range rover that when through the school fence in London???
How about the Telford EV bus station?
Nothing appeared in Google when I searched?
Or the Swindon Audi dealership that went up in smoke ('white' smoke as it happens) at the back end of last year - took best part pf a week to burn out - caused by an e-Tron apparently - all vehicles and tools lost, but then again, we are all spreading misinformation ......................... Yeah, and they are ALL LIARS!
Surely it would be better for the luton insurers if they could return the undamaged cars to their owners?. It would be fewer cars to pay for.
All sorts of aggro 'paperwork'. I posted elsewhere how I found my car that had been stolen before the Rozzers found it and because it was reported stolen - my insurance wouldn't let me just remove it myself. That was 20 odd years ago. We live in a World of crazy nonsensical hoops that have to be jumped through
Hi Geoff, if cars are being looted (pun intended) buy the "Looton" salvage crews, then surely, they must be braking into them. Who parks their car in an airport car park and leaves them unlocked?
Heat could destroy the glass, heat could mess with electronics. It's also highly possible a window either side gets smashed out so a strap or even just a folk can lift the vehicle. Modern cars also have a central unlock button even if no physical locks to pull, so the vehicles are already compromised from the removal process. Not saying you don't have a point, and extra steps, such as reaching in to press the unlock button, are needed to say get to the boot. As I said in my own comment, when I was at Car Park 1 a month ago, there was a car sniffing around cars more than I thought was necessary.
No, there wouldn’t be anything like a rock around the yard.
Thanks Geoff!!! We'll get Tulip back eventually - we hope...
Like everything else nowadays including C-Vid
Also you forgot about the Defender that crashed into the school!!!
All getting a bit like the X-Files
I’ve definitely not forgotten that one.
I’ve not even had a comment from Inchcape and remain £25,000 out of pocket. On my midwife salary that has been financially crippling.
They're selling the business, you stand even less chance then. Sue them now if you have the ability to do so, before they have sold up to US competitors who will more than likely purchase without any liabilities. At the very least contact the purchaser and ask them how they plan to honour those liabilities after purchase or if they will consider only purchasing when they're addressed with customers by Inchcape and see what they say.
Thanks for lettings us know on whats going on with these three topic's you have shown

It has disappeared!
Did you take it down for some reason?🤔
Good watching you in the sun this morning, great to catch up on older unspent news Geoff.
Anybody noticed the increases in dealer parts prices is this to offset EV issues ? we have a large fleet some EV's and are noticing increased parts prices, in some cases quite significant

Also what about the Land Rover discovery accident that ran into the school and killed the girls. Was it in July 2023. (Wimbledon)
Insurance companies bullying? SHOCK
Hold on Jeff I have recovered vehicles for salvage and part of that process is to remove all personnel items from the vehicle and bag them up for the owners to collect. I've not seen the vids so I'm only saying that is the process so could be misunderstood
You're correct, when someone cut across me when their light was red and I clipped their back bumper, but destroyed my wing, my car was towed, and I had to collect my belongings in a clear bag, wasn't much, a cleaning cloth, the car's manual, and a cheap 12V USB adapter, and some random stuff my ex had left in the glove box. So it could be a misunderstanding, however I would expect this to be done at the impound yard so belongings can be correctly logged and stored for collection, not on the salvage site itself, but haven't ever worked in either jobs, I'm only expressing my expectations. I have also witnessed and recorded someone on site at Luton sniffing around cars more than I thought was necessary. But I agree with you we do need more context about the footage, where it was, were workers bagging up stuff etc.
Got my new quote, there was a note attached "Your insurance quote has gone up so much because there has been alot of claims recently and the companies are taking this in to consideration", i have 21 yrs no claims, absolute greedy scamming scumbags; the lot of them!!!
Regarding the Luton fire how the hell can they refuse to return an undamaged car, surely this is theft, and why are the insurance company not forcing the return.
In an earthquake they do the same shit...
months later the area is deemed "safe" and the cars are released in dribs and drabs....
those lucky enough to have had the legal clout to threaten the insurance company get new range rovers within a week..
and the Police organising the recovery get to drive around in the old "destroyed" rangie.....
Toxic chemicals
Directed energy contamination ?
Inchcape … check the small print in the car service/repair contract and I’m sure you’ll find the dealer is not responsible for damage to the vehicle!
Great channel this…. Keep it up mate
Keep on tjis Geoff... very, very interesting...Well done..
I hope Bedfordshire police are looking into the thefts from the vehicles parked at the Luton Airport carpark but not affected by the fire.
Hey you could have a city centre where there has been an earthquake

....I wouldn't hold my breath.
My god this is just terrible Geoff, cars being returned and in their care, and no pay out 😞 and thank you Geoff for showing this and bringing it to light 😊
Bad timing Geoff. Motogp sprint race are on the grid 😂
If you stand in the open car park next door with a zoom lens, you will get a very clear view of the Luton fire aftermath. In some parts the floors have buckled and collapsed and it's carnage with burnt out wrecks. In other parts the vehicles are completely undamaged.
Yep, I've got footage from Car Park 1 Level 2, you can clearly see what you've described, you can't get any closer without being on the salvage site.
Three good stories there - first one, don't buy a Jaguar iPace. Second one - don't buy a Land Rover. Third one - don't buy a JLR product of any sort. There seems to be a pattern there, maybe the universe is trying to tell us something.
Insurance is bordering on a scam. Govt makes you have it to drive on the road (I thinks that’s the uk rule?), but leaves them free to run you into tie ground when you want some of your money back. And when you do get a portion of it back they charge you more next to me because you dare hold them to account. They’ve had your money for years to play with…but don’t you dare ask for some of it back
Great video
Just because the insurance company chose not to fight the dealership, doesn’t mean that the individuals involved (possibly collectively) couldn’t take them on in court.
Good video, Geoff; thank you
(from one of your more sceptical "fans")
I agree with Geoff regarding Inchcape, they need to be boycotted, that's the only thing that will focus their minds, likewise the insurance companies, we only need to select one of the worst culprits involved in the Luton bbq and boycott them.
It may sound a bit esoteric and even eccentric but as regards buying from a dealer its worth checking whether that dealers garage lies within an recognised Environment agency 'flood area' (check online on their website). I used to work near Inchcape in Derby and the locals confirmed that the area its in, is very low lying and prone to flooding being close to the River Derwent. On another point a local respected car dealer (good reputation) seems to be struggling to get new ordinary car 'stock' because of the 17 cars advertised a massive 75% are Range rovers or Discoveries. I've heard all the stories of insurance costs and LR product theft vulnerability, but he must be a bit worried he has such a big stock that d'ont seem to be shifting?
In a statement, a Jaguar Land Rover spokesperson told LancsLive: "Following a detailed investigation in partnership with the Merseyside Police and other authorities, we understand an individual has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and causing a public nuisance, relating to the incident on the M62. Manchester Evening News March 14th.
Wishing Nathan Well and safe!
Have you heard of the Norwegian ferry company banning EV's on board their ships?
As for the Airport issue: Why should any insurance company refuse the legal owner access and removal of their property if a claim has not been made? It does not seem legal to me. The dealership issue again is that the cars were in the 'care' of that dealership because of a manufacturing problem. The claim should be against the dealership or even the manufacturer. I have never trusted insurance companies. Another question: It seems insurance companies are writing off and scrapping perfectly good cars with minimal damage. Anything over 10 years old or above 100K miles will be scrapped it seems. This is a total waste. Is their a 'higher' directive we ask??
Jaguar I Disgrace 🔥🚙.....
Inchcape UK are being bought out by Group 1, also the Derby dealership has flooded multiple times
I’m in the motor trade and have motor trade insurance which covers me for vehicles in my “care custody or control” surely dealers have the same?
My car got impounded once, but since I had the spare key, and the log book etc … I found out where it was and went and ‘got’ it back … A few days later I got arrested ☹️
Insurance companies didnt fail anyone... thier shareholders are very happy with the yearly profits!
Isn’t it amazing. Hundreds of security cameras at that airport YET we only get some grainy half video of the fire AFTER it has started. Nothing before has been released. So we can see the car and ignition.
Hi could you cover an update on the difference types of road camera we are seeing popping up and when there doing. Thank love the vids
Looks like you're on your way to the tip 😁
Howdy from Australia
Are the skies looking like a noughts and crosses board down under too?
Howdy??
G'day !
If the iPace was designed half competently, pressing the brake pedal should override all accelerator inputs including cruise control in the computer. In every car with cruise control I have ever driven, the brake switch cancels cruise control too. Police likely got told that the entire brake system was working perfectly fine and that the only way the car could possibly be "out of control" is if the driver never actually tried hitting the brakes. A quick exam of brake pads and rotors would immediately show whether an attempt to stop the car using hydraulics was actually made. I bet the pads and discs were still like-new instead of ruined from absorbing 150+kW until they failed.
Also, the car's computers likely had logs on them and I wouldn't be surprised if those confirmed there was no attempt at braking through the whole thing, full-throttle the whole way until the battery died.
Car that hit the school???
Don't bother going to Bridlington. Can't see 50 yards. Race the waves not running, can’t see finish line. Cold, damp. Came home 10 miles inland. Warm, sunny.

Hi Geoff,
I suspect Inchcape are dragging their heels as they have / are selling the whole operation to the US Group 1 Automotive concern.
It just goes to show that insurance is legalised blackmail as my old dad used to say, and he wasn't wrong was he? With the Luton airport car park fire, I'm Not sure how legally they can stop you getting your own property back if there is no insurance claim for an undamaged vehicle. I'd like to know how whoever is dealing with it justifies their stance on the matter.
Very quiet out there..
They should claim from the jaguar garage insurance and not their insurance as then they can claim for a hire car until it's settled. Denied claims are not in good faith, and the insurance company should be reported . If the flood is due to bad design or if flood gates aren't operating properly, then the jaguar garage has a claim from the operators. But your claim is with the jaguar garage .
There will be Risk assessments prior to build by the council and signed off.
I assume the Luton airport fire was the reason that everyone's insurance policies (and not just motor insurance) has climbed by up to 50% on last years premiums? Has that been investigated ?
You do like to sail close to the wind with your reviews, I would suggest any assets you have are in your partners name, because at some point a Company with lots of money will go for your jugular
Maybe the iPace driver was arrested because an accident on a motorway has to be reported and statement given, or he was arrested for using his mobile phone while driving
They brushed it all under the rug mate
Such a great thing to get your kids involved in, karate...all ours loved it & can now seriously handle themselves but, crucially, don't ever pick fights...great ethos
Why hasn’t anybody found out from the owner of the car that caught fire at Luton to find out what sort of car it was.
If there are undamaged cars in there it makes no logical sense why they can’t just be removed from the carpark 🤷. Think if it was me I’d just take my keys and go drive it out.
Insurance insurance insurance, we are are forced to buy it every year at ever more extortionate prices and yet when we need it most they simply laugh in our face and say "Up yours mate".
The driver of the car which caused the luton airport fire was told that there would be no charges brought against them. I dont understand why they have not spoken publicly about their experience. Have they be silenced in some way?
I don't think it's suspicious. As the guy driving the diesel Range Rover left his car when he shouldn't have, he clearly wants anonymity. Wouldn't you?
Rumour was he was pretty rich, perhaps they gave someone a brown envelope, we'll never know the truth I suspect.
