Thinking of getting another of these still cheap, your engine spec seems sensible 220 bhp enough in a light well handling car when everyone else seems to be chasing numbers.
Learning to drive trump's power at the track. Then spend money on handling, then when you can't go faster you need more power! Haha. This car would be sold if the right offer came along!

We just run Quantum Platinum - www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/genuine-vw-quantum-platinum-engine-oil-5w-40-5l.html We generally see 100-105 on track, on very hot days or when following cars closely, we might see 110. If we see above 110, then we would change the oil right after the race. Normally we do 2 - 3 races then drop the oil and change the filter.

Ryan this ibiza is special race car full of special parts. Only 220hp with vnt2260 turbo? On website u say 35psi/2.4bar e 300hp. What boost to your low power needs? 1.5bar to let turbo live forever?
Reyt then, you say u prefer mintex pads. 1155? And when u put at rears you choose same compound? As pagid rs29 front e back? For real biting braking? Then you use whiteline sway bars. 22mm or 24 front? Which is performance difference? Which one make car more oversteeting? :))
Good setup! I can see that you are using audi TT hubs. I am planning to swap my spindles too. They are plug and play? The abs/speedometer ring in the TT is outside and in the ibiza is inside the bearing any problem with that? Thanks

Are you running LSD'S? I'd of thought so what type plated or atb type and what cwp ratio are they standard? can you run close ratio gearing? Are you using a bais pedal box or just the valves you talked about, I've got loads more questions sorry just thinking of things that you didn't mention
Alloy head, Cast block. We could take another 80kg out spending a lot of money but at this power the curves are nice, any less and we have to flatten it too much and it drives strange
Within reason, it will tune the same as any PD, but the bottom end is weaker than the PD130 / PD150s. Most customers fit the stronger engine before going mental. With a Garrett gt1749vb, PD130/150 injectors and a tune you can get up to 200HP reliably in my experience. It will bolt on directly and spool instantly. You'll need a new (Sachs racing) clutch and would be best of with a single mass flywheel in stead of the standard dual mass. Also it's wise to bolt on a new sturdy crankshaft pulley with new bolts as I ripped mine twice due to the increased powers on the serpentine belt (easy overlooked). Also consider using a gearbox with lower ratios. It supplied me with a lower fuel consumption whilst having and using almost double the power and a significantly higher cruising (170) and top speed (225). In hindsight I wish that gearbox was even longer, power and torque was plenty. Good luck.
I don't known it DD WILL answer right away but personally it depends what your after. I don't see any mileage improvements ( theyre may be some but im heavy footed) I do however notice a slight improvement in performance and general start up times. I have egr delete and since then + nitro diesel etc its starts like a petrol I don't wait for the plugs to warm just fire up and away. Register diesel struggles. Look out for a chemical eh2n I think it's called. And it's the main ingredient in nitro diesel v power etc. You can just add this to your tank and run any diesel from then on and your basically running v power

When you're on the track do you run road diesel or red diesel?
You can run red but we use the car on the road so just run white from wherever is cheapest!
What intercooler pipe size do you use? Is there enough using 2.5 inch downpipe for 240-250hp? thanks!

With a built engine 270 should be reliable, 250 with stock head and cam

With the TT225 hubs. Does the abs sensor work with the Ibiza abs or do you bin it off?
We don't have ABS so we just put the TT ABS electrical portion and rear rings so the Speedo works

We used the F4r. in the end RS29 front and RS14 rear worked best
Bigger front ARB helps tyre wear but stiffer springs helped more

You need different balljoints which we sell. We had to use TT abs ECU to make Speedo work

Where is the oil pickup for the transmission cooler ? Do you run an electric pump for the transmission oil as well ?

How do you keep EGT's down on track on the 1.9's?
good cooling for the water, air and Oil and leave boost high but fuel dialled back 20% or so. A death map would last a lap how we drive! haha
