I have a right-handed Montefeltro you could try. It would probably eliminate your slumps. 😂 Great video Tim. Awesome work by those dogs is always a joy to watch. You guys got into 'em pretty good.
Thanks Brent, I really like your 16! My brother had a 16 ga. pump I used to use all the time when I was younger for grouse and pheasants, I really liked that gun, when he passed it was nowhere to be found, would have liked to have inherited it for sure, lots of hunts from my younger years in that gun. I responded to this comment before and a few others but they didn't post, not sure why.
@@timwagenmanuplandadventure8270 Well....Friday I had a day like I hadn't had in a LONG time. Shot 13 shells at 7 roosters & put 2 on the ground & in the vest. Pathetic & comical. Finally Ace decided to just take me out of the equation. He caught a somewhat wounded bird that could almost fly all by himself, so I wouldn't have to burn through more shells. Saved me from further embarrassment & finished up our limit at the same time. 😆
Great video Tim been waiting for another one from you. Hope your wife is doing ok also. Great hunt once again. Just got back from SD on Monday. Best hunting ever had. Couple of flushes with close to 20 birds and many, many others. Dealing with inconsistent shooting myself this season. Either on fire or can’t hit squat. Best shot I ever made on Sunday and then I follow it up with ridiculous miss. Your dogs are top notch and a pleasure to watch. Nice looking habitat too. I had many birds jump up well over 100 yds ahead and was downwind, quiet and winds were 30+. How they know is a mystery to me. What’s just as amazing is how the dog can smell them with those winds and dry. Really enjoyed the ending photos too!!
Thanks Brad! Tara is doing well and as of now cancer free thankfully, thank you for asking. Good to hear your seeing good numbers of birds, can’t wait to get to SD too this year!
Thank you! All 3 came from Willow Creek Kennels in Little Falls MN, the Honker line basically, Ace is from one of Honkers last litters, always wanted one directly from him and got lucky to get one. Shilo (black and white patched and ticked) came from Drummer which I believe was a brother to Honker. Ollie was from Grouser, but all basically have the Honker line in them I believe.
@@TheCigarHive North Dakota Game and Fish has the plots (public lands open to sportsman) guide you could get from them that shows all the open private land for ND. Not sure if you have On X but that's another great tool for finding public hunting areas too, lots of public in ND!
Been shooting the Boss 2 3/4" shorty #5s for a few years now, they hit hard! Had some inconsistencies but the new ones I got this year I haven't had any issues with.
It is not appropriate to use profanity such as GD. I like your show however as a Christian Bird Hunter, please use appropriate language. Also, younger viewers don't need to hear this. If I misunderstood what you said I apologize.
I went back through, I didn’t say the D part of that, I believe that was when the bird flushed wild right between Wyatt and I? I always look to be mindful of language but can slip from time to time for sure. Thank you for bringing it to my attention and thank you for watching.
great video! Thanks for letting us come along!
Thanks Ty 😊
Was a great time appreciate all the clips of me and the boys!! Was a great trip Tim can't wait to do it again!
It was a lot of fun Wyatt!
excellent hunt, vid, we all hit a shooting slump now and again, you rarely miss it seems, good to see you are human, gotta love that ace!
He’s really starting to come around! Been a lot of fun watching Ace progress 😬
Wow! Lots of pheasant and nice dog work! Sure was a really nice hunt.
@@ronblackburn3683 thanks Ron, it’s so good to see good numbers after such a tough winter, resilient birds they are for sure!

Enjoy your video, film work, and ‘real’ hunting adventures!
Thank you Chris, appreciate the kind words! Nothing like chasing roosters, I just love it 😊

Are y’all hunting public land? I moved up from Texas and don’t know where to hunt here in North Dakota.
All public land yes.
@@timwagenmanuplandadventure8270 awesome! Hopefully I can get on some near me soon. Or find someone to link up with. Thanks

Damn if there is that much birds in the fields like that, no point for a dog no more. No competition.
