When I first stared modding my 4Runner your channel was my go to. Especially with the heritage grill and cali raised sliders. Got them bare metal and sprayed them, and they’ve held up great! From California to Washington state and Nevada desert.
These look awesome! My wife hates the one my rig currently has, from previous owner, because she cant step up. So these have a step while being a protective slider, instead of just flat. Def wana buy!
Great Job , and looks great , I will suggest you to remove nuts and add thread-locker and insert again , I installed mine those were RSG Metal Works Rock sliders and extremely heavy and most difficult on the driver side due to KDSS system lines .
@@scoobysid04 I’d say it’s about 4-6 weeks. I ordered mine 6/9 and they sent me pictures of them all welded up (glorious TIG) last week saying they were off to powder coating in the next day or two. I would imagine that means they’ll likely ship out this week. I have never seen rock sliders as nicely made. I got the 20 degree with kick out and top plates.
Hey man! I heard you say you have -12 offset tires in this video. I also have that offset, and I’m trying to fit 285s on my 4runner. Do you have a video about fitting them and the possible rubbing/issues? Thanks!!!
Thanks for the advice. Enjoying our 22 RAV4 XSE. Not quite as much as our 22 sienna. The sienna is smoother quieter and roomer of course. Carvana just offered me $45k for it. We only paid $39 a month ago. Not really wanting to sell it especially since Toyota gave us the platinum 10/125kwarranty for free.
There aren't any rocks to slide on in FL brother! Should only get sliders if you plan to actually off-road places that need them. Not to mention the added weight on the 4R, slows it down a bit more and worsen the MPG. Looks cool though 😜
These look great! I just got mine yesterday and I'm about to install them this weekend. I just watched a video from Westcott that said to be sure and remove those little plastic caps on the frame before you install the slider so that it can sit flush against the frame...did you do this, and/or have you had any issues if you did NOT do it?
The previous ones were the CaliRaised? I am looking at both of these and wonder if Westscott is just the last word in sliders? Seems to be about a two-month lead right now I think.
these are the exact sliders I was going to go with. in your opinion does the top plate really get used with the 20 degree angle? the back kick out with top plate I can see getting used but would the other front half really need those top plates?
@@TRDJon oh just the standard comparison of Manufacturers specs, visual comparison on other friends rig's and their opinions after purchasing of the two brands as well as C4 brand. It doesn't take a lab to figure out which slider is better.

Yes I do. They did rub a little but not alot. I had to take the mud flaps off.
Really like that they have a pretty nice step provision to them, looks great!

DOM and I can’t remember which is which when I ordered for the way it was welded.
The clean weld is the Tig. Top plates and powder coated it extra but well worth the money.
What option metal did you get? TIG OR MIG?

The cali raised was great too. These seem a bit longer and the welds are very tight
