    On XYOSTED here, maximum dose (100 MG) a week, and the water retention has been brutal. So much so that my feet look twice the size, struggling to fit into my shoes and all! I've tried just about everything at this point and stopping HRT usage is now all that's left.

    • @balancemyhormones
      @balancemyhormones  11 місяців тому

      Hey there! Sorry to hear about your water retention issue with XYOSTED. It can be challenging. Before giving up on HRT, I'd strongly recommend discussing this with your healthcare provider. They can adjust your treatment plan, possibly lowering the dose or trying a different form of testosterone replacement therapy to address the water retention while still benefiting from TRT. Your health is essential, so consult your doctor for the best solution. To learn more, please visit our website at www.balancemyhormones.co.uk. Quality of life is worth much more than any money. However if people are looking at TRT just to live that super life and there bloods are mid to normal range then yes it does sound expensive. But if you are hypogonadal then it is worth any amount of money.
      Best regards,
      Scott.

      Crazy About Darts
      I hear what you are saying and have clients and friends in the same position. There are options though and my first port of call would be the NHS and although it is a pain and timely experience. If you find a good endocrinologist and if you are truly hypogonadal then you will be given some form of TRT treatment and although not the best or preferred method. You can and if you find a good Endo with the knowledge of up your date practices then you will get what you maybe need.
      But on another note and although I do not know this for certain. I am sure BMS will understand your situation and although the Endos charges are set in stone or maybe can be agreed on a lower price. Although I doubt it as they are private and outsourced. Maybe BMS will give you a better rate for some time until you get in to a better situation financially. I do not know this for certain though and as you must understand that BMS are a up and coming business and need to pay the bills themselves. An email to them would get the answers you need and maybe not the answers you want but it is worth a shot. However I will add that who ever reads this that BMS is not a charity and they will see through anyone trying the financial difficulties game.
      I do wish you all the best in your endeavours and health and hope you can get things sorted in time my friend.
      Sincere regards,
      Scott. 🙏✌️✌️✌️

Are you suffering from hypothyroidism it just concerned??? Iodine or kelp can help in this regards and I have found that using the above helped with tiredness I was feeling but I had a lot wrong with me and it was the whole process that healed me.

      Agreed Dr G.
      Taking a diuretic is also risky if really not needed. Maybe 25mg Spironolactone yes but anymore then no IMO. I suffered very bad Hypokalemia due to the above drug that was prescribed to me during my recovery from Malaria and side effects from Malaria drugs when I came back from Somalia. My bloods where a mess and I crashed my adrenal system after 15 years in the field.

    I’ve Been on injectable cyp 100 mg a week since April 1st. I do multi injections 2x a week personally. My levels were around 342. Took a blood test months later on troph day around 642. Over this journey I’ve hit the weights and workouts heavy. I’ve cleaned up the diet to almost keto for a few months barely dropping the weight. Over the last month I started bringing in more carbs and the fat has been coming off. Now mind you I was a heavy stocky individual going in weighing around 296 down now to 282 I think my levels or testerone just needed to level itself out?my water retention I Believe has gotten better. Daily supps along the way are multi vitamin , vit d , magnesium , vit k2, and coq10. With all this being said I don’t know if my testerone should increase to higher than 100 mg weekly or not ? Thoughts?

      Your a heavy guy mate and hopefully a lot of it is muscle mass. You could may well get away with another 25mg up to 125mg and that should put your trough days at around 780-850 and maybe 900 of lucky. I wouldn’t aim for anymore than 900 though as then we are looking at supraphysiological numbers and we do not want that. Water retention I wouldn’t worry about on TRT and this can be forgone with use of what you are doing with a better diet and training and increasing fluid intake. Although I do advise the use of Proviron at 25mg daily’s split in to 2 doses as this will help not only with small amounts of water retention but also a lot of other things as I have expressed and explained on other UA-cam videos of BMH. BMH will help you with regards to prescribing Proviron.
      Keep at it mate 💪💪💪

    I thought the main side effects of TRT was a lack of libido or a very unreliable libido and erectile dysfunction?

    • @scottl7644
      @scottl7644 4 роки тому

      That’s steroid abuse my friend. And although TRT can induce these side effects. They usually sort themselves out in time and along with a program of eating healthy and living a healthy life.
      Best regards,
      Scott.

      @@scottl7644 Nope. After more than a decade of research on the forums, too many guys who went on TRT after having "low normal" levels to begin with complain that their libido is WORSE than before and that they have MORE difficulty getting an erection! This is after trying ALL different forms of administration and experimenting with all kinds of doses. Guys who are "low normal" should stay that way because in most cases, a naturally functioning HPTA is better than a shut down HPTA and an artificially elevated testosterone level, even if the T level is within the reference range. You need endogenously produced LH for a good libido. HCG does not cut it.

    • @scottl7644
      @scottl7644 4 роки тому

      Totally Raw If you had the chance to read any of my other replies and advice you would see that I have discussed this topic a few times regarding gentlemen who are low normal and want that advanced lifestyle or have been told it is possible. Very rarely is unfortunately. This is after more than 20 years of education and experience in this field and also mistakes too. I agree with you and have advised many that a low normal HPTA is 10 x better than a completely shut down HPTA. Most low normal guys have difficult lifestyles and thus bad eating practices which include alcohol, SOS, little fitness regimes and even things worse than this. Little mindfulness and high stress jobs. We all have at some point in our lives looked for that magic fast way supplement or pill but life doesn’t work that way unfortunately. There is no substitute for hard work and dedication. I do try and stress this as much as possible but I am also empathetic to others who are having difficulties.
      However in my case I have completely shut down my HPTA and yes this is my own fault for living a fast and stressful life but I will stress that I did half of this for my country and the other for money ashamedly.
      I do appreciate your input though and my reply to the gentleman was a quick reply that I was suppose to get back to but I was caught up with others replies further down. A natural level of LH is indeed needed for a normal/great libido but there are so many other variables also that need to be taken in to account. You see the used both words normal and great due to the fact that many want much more than this and are usually misinformed being told that they can be sexual gods if using TRT or abusing steroids.
      Best regards,,
      Scott. ✌️🙏✌️💪💪
