DANG MAN y'all do AMAZING work! Love the black wood with visible grains, love the modern looks, love the fantom post, love the outdoor bar, kitchen, fireplace, wet-bar, huge TV, bright wood tall ceiling, and firepit. Y'all did a great job with the very limited depth of the backyard. Looks great. Thanks for sharing all the step by step and the finished product videos.

Definitely! We were working against some pretty aggressive set backs on this property line, so we actually had to totally redo the original design. Challenging, but worth it for sure!

I’ve been watching your videos for quite a while and love your work. This is an awesome design and build. How do you keep the weather off of the TV and fireplace? I’ve wondered about that on several videos.
The roof! We've never had any problems with it just being covered by the roof. It would have to be really raining sideways for any rain to get over to it.

The tedious endeavor of the fireplace was worth it!
I commented a few vids back about my 72 year old father making a locked in for justice comments on a deck we are building. He now has his own take on the saying. After driving some structural lags he notified “that’s locked in for justice motherfucker.”

Why the black tape under the deckboards ?
Flashing tape! It keeps water from sitting on the surface of the wood, which leads to rot. Just an extra layer of protection!
