I have the exact boat, same year and all. I redid mine as well last year, had a blast doing it. I too added two deck mount storage boxes up front and extended the deck all the way back to the console. You did a great job!
I've been wanting a bass tracker to rebuild for sometime and finally got a 1990 tracker TX tournament. And your videos have been invaluable on tearing it down thank you. Just still have so many questions maybe by watching all your series will answer them
Gonna be a pretty sweet rig when your finished!
I'm sure hoping that my boat turns out as good as yours. Just going to take my time and do it right. So glad I found your videos
Just purchased 97 pro team 18 this is exactly what i was looking for
Starting on episode 1 after seeing episode 9 and being impressed. You should throw these in a playlist to make em easier to find in the future! Looks really good!
Thanks for watching, they should all be in the Bass Tracker playlist
Hi, great series on your interior redo, will be very helpful with my project. Just picked up a 2002 175XT with 40 hp Merc, good condition but could use an interior redo itself. Love UA-cam for information about these and many other projects, has saved my much money doing things myself over the years. Thanks.
Just pick up one of these boats ready to see how it comes apart so can do mine
Rebuilding boats is a nice pastime .when done and done right they look awesome .dont cut corners .you will be sorry .keep up with the awesome videos
Very interesting. Little too much talking and not enough working for my liking. but good job! I've seen the finished product first. I just happen to come back to check out a couple of these videos. You made a very nice boat sir I apologize I'm not trying to be negative I don't want to be like everybody else online. You did a great job.
Fun watching you do this overhaul. QUESTION: Why did you go with vinyl rather than carpet?
Easier to keep clean
@@PUTEMDOWNProductions How has it held up? Was wondering if it might be prone to gouging (i.e. if you drop your pliers or something else with hard edges).
hey man, over the entire project, how many sheets of plywood do you think you used?
One for floor, part of one for front deck, and another for rod/tackle lockers
Hey man where did you buy the vinyl for the boat? I am looking to do this to my pro 16
Defender marine online
What’s the holes on back deck? I’ve got a ‘95 I’m looking to do.
I assume where they filled the foam, they were covered by the carpet.
Biggest problem I’m running into is taking off steering wheel cable to free up console. Any advice?
Once get wheel off the steering box is just held on by 3 or so bolts. To get the wheel off i just loosen the nut and hit it with steel hammer to cause vibration while pulling on the wheel
I'm going to recarpet my 2005 bass tracker, you have any tips?
Get a good glue and i wouldnt carpet over hinges
Boat Content is why I subscribed lol
Thanks for stopping by lots more boat content coming!
You've got it apart. why not go ahead & fix the speedo?
I use the GPS the pressure speedos arent accurate anyway
And i mounted my transducer where the speedo was
