Great video, man! I'm rebuilding a '92 Bass Tracker 17 Pro now. I have a couple questions for you... 1. Would you recommend this over EVA foam decking? If 12 yd is right, it's about a third of the cost for this product under EVA. 2. What type of screws did you use for the cockpit deck? Did the screws hide well? Any helpful advice you could offer would be appreciated!
You have done an awesome job on both the install and the video. Thanks for all the info. I’m getting ready to do this to my BT. You have me thinking hard about the vinyl.
You definitely deserve more views. I am slowly working on a 1997 Bass Tracker Pro Team 17 and I am in the process of removing old carpet. I like the idea of vinyl for the flooring. You have some real skill. I wish you the best and I look forward to seeing more of your videos. I will be a subscriber by the time you read this.
I have a 1999 bass tracker pro team 165… I’m stripping the carpet and I kinda like that vinyl instead of hydroturf… how many yards do you think I’ll need for hatches on the inside ? Should 15 yards be enough for the whole boat?
Man your moving right along with this boat. I like the look of it. I have a question the vinyl your using is it like the sandpaper kind so you can get good footing if you get water on it?
I'm redoing my boat at the moment and am using your vids as a good reference. Thank you for that. Specifically, what screws did you use to anchor the deck down? Stainless self tapping button head?
If you did it again, would you change anything? i.e. different type of material vs. vinyl? Different color? Getting ready to do my tracker too. Appreciate the vids
@@PUTEMDOWNProductions Great job man, has me thinking about going vinyl for mine too! Curious how hard the front casting wood deck was to pull up? Appears to just be held down by a bunch of screws.
2 years later still glad you used vinyl? Going to start on my 94 pro V 19. Some dumbass wired it. Oh yea everything straight to the batteries. P.S. from western Washington but use the boat in central. Potholes reservoir
Nice job! Wish I seen this a week ago I just started with new carpet in my 86 Bass Tracker. I like that better than the carpet I think lol. Do you think it will get hot to your feet in the sun?
Bought a 1991 Bass Tracker Pro 17 couple days ago! Going to restore it! These videos are a big help thanks!

Used countersink stainless screws, i think the vinyl will last longer than the foam but not really sure. Yes screws hid well for me
@@PUTEMDOWNProductions thanks! And thanks for the quick reply! You saved me a lot of money.
It's been a long week. Can't wait to see the next episode.
Sorry been busy at work and trying to finish the boat havent had time to edit! Hopefully this next week crank out a few!

Took 18 yards for my boat so depending on the layout i would guess 16-18

I have a bass tracker just like yours I’m getting ready to redo. I was wondering how many yards of vinyl it took for your boat?
12 yards I believe if I remember correctly
Where did you get the vinyl floor material and glue? I have a Tracker V16 Laker DLX with ZERO storage and so... I’m building more! Thanks. Nice work

Yes if its above 90* out it can get hot and have to splash some water on it
