At it again, great! I love watching your videos even if I don’t own this particular type of machine. The mechanic in me finds watching you work very soothing 😊
8:18 that thing is leaking with my device. The device won't send water (or coffee) to the main spot where it should come from. Instead it just leaks in the trow away thing beneath. Maybe you know a solution? Any advice is welcome thanks
@@yt.myworks thank you for your answer! Could you maybe let me know what the name of the item is (white, the one below the ceramic valve)? The thing is the ceramic valve seems to be fine, no leaking, it does pump good, sound is good and seems pretty good. The machine itself is only 1 year old too. However the water goes to the white thing at the bottom, and then straight up goes to the trow away bucket. And I kind of seem unsure if it is ceramic valve, i think it probably will be it, but i also kind of thing about the white thing at the bottom, especially because i dont know its name and what it does. Thank you so much!
The white expansion chamber can't break at all. It is just a piece of plastic and is not sealed. Check the hose that is connected to the chamber, it must not be kinked, otherwise the water may not be drained properly.
Great video , I have the same model , and now the water and cofee does not come out and water pours into the dip tray. Do you think the water pump is defect?
Hi, I don't think the water pump is broken, otherwise no water would flow into the drip tray. You first have to look at where the water is coming from, either from the drainage opening on the left side or from the area of the brewing group. It could be that the pressure relief valve on the water pump opens too early (18:12) or that the water is coming from the brewing group.
Hello Boss, I want to say you are a blessing for showing off your work to us! If you ever get to work on an Eletta Express, would you please post the maintenance involved? I have seen it is not recommended to use oily beans in super-automatics in general, but the beans I will be using are oily. Perhaps I will have to clean the brew system/infuser and grinder every 2-3 days? I live in the USA and Delonghi sells them more expensive here compared to Europe. I just bought it for 1200USD and want to have some knowledge and tips on what to expect on maintenance on such an investment. Thank you!
Hello, it is important to maintain the machine strictly according to the manufacturer's guidelines. This means regular descaling, cleaning, and keeping it tidy as instructed by the machine and recommended in the user manual. Many people take good care of their devices at the beginning but tend to neglect them over time. After about a year, you can also disassemble the infuser, clean it thoroughly, and apply grease. However, be cautious: everything must be reassembled correctly, or something could break! I’ve made a short video demonstrating what to look out for during this process: ua-cam.com/video/IdLPhyLmxIQ/v-deo.html
Hi, you need to find out where the water is coming from, either from the brew group area or from the drain hole at the bottom. Try making a coffee without the front cover to observe it. To do this you need to manually operate the micro switch on the front panel.
Great video! Thanks! 💪 I would like to ask if the "Urnex Cafiza 2" cleaning agent is the same as what you use? Where to use silicone grease and where to use food-grade grease?
Hi, I haven't tried Urnex Cafiza 2 yet, but I think it's the same product with a slightly modified version. The food-grade lubricant is used for the gears that do not come into contact with the coffee. Silicone grease are used for the o-rings and seals.
@@yt.myworksI have one more question about cleaning products. Is it possible to reduce their number? Because in my opinion, e.g. TENZI GRAN MFS AGD can be used to clean both external elements and the frother. just something else for aluminum would be useful.
Great video! I've got the same machine and its asking me to descale very often.. like once a week😅 Do you know what to replace when descaling is "needed" that often?
Hi, in this case I recommend a water filter. In the settings you have to set that a water filter is used. But be careful, the filter must be changed regularly, strictly according to the manufacturer's recommendations! amzn.to/3VPnQS1
For these hard olefin plastics, have you ever glued any together either cracks or one broke off? Sure hot plastic welding but any glues you have tried? Hot glue is OK and CA glue leaves white residue perhaps epoxies?
hello how are you I have with me a Delonghi Perfecta Plus in white ... but the plastics are yellow what do you advise to try to replace the white color I have already passed with sandpaper with the grain 1500 but little came out of the yellow.
Hi, for yellowed plastics, I treat them with 12% hydrogen peroxide and place them in the sun for a few hours. After applying, wrap the parts in plastic wrap to prevent drying out. Be careful: make sure to wear disposable gloves, as this chemical is very aggressive.
I got a Siemens eq6 s100 and it goes off everytime i start the machine, is this the brewmotor or both switches that give this problem ? In the service menu the machine goes off when i select brewunit up? Do you have any idee??
Hi, the device switches itself off to protect the sensitive electronics. There may be something wrong with the brew motor or the ceramic valve. In my case, the ceramic valve was broken. After replacing the valve, everything worked perfectly again.
@@yt.myworksthe valve was not broken so I think the brewunit motor is failing or the switches but the hole machine must be splitted 😮 before you can take out the Brewunit motor

hello, so when you do the cappucino process the foam is alright? Have you measure the temperature of milk ? usually the hot milk is up to 65 °, because you dont want to boil the milk, the cappucino as well around 65 ° to 75 °
@@88_niko70i understand but now the milk is only warm. I think definitely less than 50 degrees. and this morning when I clicked to make a latte, the milk started to run . the beans also started to grind.like before beans grinding when milk finishing. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@mantasjasionis5271 Hmmmmm i suppose you have problem with the thermoblock. Have you done a descaling ? maybe the thermblock has layers of salts which is causing you the problem and not working properly. Sometimes if the circuit of the milk forth doesnt work well it happens to do the last problem that you said because the pcb thinks that the procedure is done so its starts to grind.
