How to defend yourself from a 500 meter high tsunami:
Rapidly build a 501 meter high Dutch sea wall.
Daniel Jakes 👍🏾
Yup, that's what I was thinking. But wow, that would be expensive and take a lot of resources to accomplish.
We have an inflatable flood defense system just around the corner here. Just make it really tall and long lol.
(Ramspol barrier if you want to look it up)
Well, the wall structure would have to be incredibly strong, thick, and durable to stand up against a tsunami that has a ton of force power powerful enough to destroy any buildings in it's way. Oh and not to mention, the splash impact on a wall tall enough to withstand this theoretical wall would allow some of the water to pass through, so uh yea.
I mean they used a nuke, you can't defend against it once its been triggered. Its Mutually Assured Destruction at that point.

The water lifts itself as high as a tower and falls down hard again, then everything is flooded. There is an earthquake and half the large island will sink. The southern part of England slips into the water."
Back in the old days or perhaps even now in some remote areas in the world, fishermen sometimes used explosives to harvest fish from lakes rivers and oceans. This is now banned in most countries. I wonder what this bomb you mention would do to marine life.
Human beings might never find out the results if such a bomb was activated

Actually the best defence may be just that, but have these Counter-Poseidons at every coast city, and when a Poseidon goes off the anti poseidon goes off too, causing a 500m wave that goes towards the poseidon wave, then they cancel each others out on impact. No? This would fail hard wouldnt it? Fuck! :C
@@RonBest I think it would create a wave going both ways. So no it probably wouldn't work
And so Russia and the US plays the biggest game of pong ever.
Yes
And the wave just keeps getting bigger and faster with every bounce
During the pandemic, I tried to stop smoking (I since have) and on the second night had a terrifyingly vivid dream. I was on a boat in the middle of the ocean with many people but the boat was a school bus (weird I know). Panic set in as I looked out the window and saw two fighter type jets far far off over water, flying around together and the suddenly dropping something out of the bottom. I watch as the objects fell into the water and then felt a ‘boom’. As the people around me erupted into screams and chaos, I watched a wave in unimaginable size start to form and roll towards us. In my dream I had the thought ‘we will not survive that’ and because terrified along with the others. I turned my head and looked out of the opposite side of the boatbus and saw complete destruction (floating material from buildings and houses etc) as far as my eye could see, everything was broken and floating and more fighter jets flying around. I woke up instantly and laid by myself in a state of confusion (in disbelief I had a dream so vivid, and that it was some kind of ‘weaponized wave’). I had never thought/read/seen anything like that before. I gathered my thoughts and UA-camd ‘weaponizing waves’ and this came up. It visually explained exactly what I saw in my dream and even took it a step further with the radioactive water as result from the bomb.. I didn’t then, and still don’t know what to make of it. I don’t dream, I’ve had a handful in the past 3 years, that being one of them. It’s 2 am right now and I stumbled across this video because I saved it. I’m married now with two daughters, my life is much different, but there was something about that dream and experience, I just wanted to type this out and share it.
you just read to much into the dream its just your brain doing its thing rest easy the dumb tsunami bomb would never be used to use it means the end of the world super weapons are dumb they scare noone because to use them means the end of russia
That is insane
Good testimony. I'd say...bow on your knees, pray, and read/meditate the Holy Bible.
My God that’s scary
Dreams can be pretty wild. Lately if I go back into alco withdrawals I have crazy vivid dreams of jumping off the tallest buildings in San Francisco, the ones I went up into illegally to the top when under construction just to photograph the views. Now I have random dreams even when I don’t drink of random people in my life, high school and after that I didn’t have much to do with at all when when I used to see them at school, etc…
Also, remember that the tsunami would be aimed at the coast. That means the rest of its energy would spread in every other direction. So, the yield would be wasted overall. You can't aim the blast yield in a range of anything else than 369 degrees in 3 dimensions.
Who cares if the blast if big enough

Wow...
So I'm off from work at home recovering from a minor surgical procedure, kind of medicated and have been having weird fever dreams. Right before watching this video as the result of a Google search, I had just had a weird dream about being in or near Atlantic City, NJ when all of a sudden we all see these fiery giant waves in the distance, that look like mountains, moving towards the coast from multiple directions.
Eventually everything is covered and I end up riding one of those casino/hotels like a boat inland a bit, and it still has power somehow (it is a dream after all). There's a store employee telling us all the merch is all free.
At some point we end up going the opposite direction, being sucked in towards more nuclear tsunamis. The whole time some shitty European techno music is being played on a loop. I don't know if it was supposed to be playing at this hotel/casino I'm on or if it's just in my head, but last thing I remember before waking up was hearing that music and the building I'm riding sideways on about to roll over as we're riding into a crashing wave.
The music alone was hell btw.

The only plausible defense I could think of would be to set up a wall of EMPs around the far coastline that would go off as soon as something of that velocity passed their detection field. IceBlossom yet is there actually any evidence that the claims are true?
Our best bet would be to create ships that specialize in frequency jamming. In order for Russia to detonate they would have to give it some sort of remote command, I'm thinking. We could expand this by creating our own army of drones to monitor activity far off from our coast. These drones could be tasked with attaching electrical deactivating and as a last resort explode the bomb premature.
They would have inertial and underwater seabed terrain guidance.

There's actually another component to the Poseidon tsunami. I remember seeing a video a few years back on UA-cam. At the time when the water would crest, there would be an incoming nuke that would hit the crest, causing the waves to be pushed out more.
One possible way to dissipate a wave like that would be to detonate a similar sized explosion or smaller explosion that would disrupt it. It would mean you'd have to have these types of countermeasures up and down your coasts. I'm not even certain how feasible it would be.

Destructive interference occurs when waves come together in such a way that they completely cancel each other out. When two waves interfere destructively, they must have the same amplitude in opposite directions.

How to stop it: detonate a 201 megaton bomb going in the other direction
Big brain
@Molanda Moseley of the FBI i think the dumbest person might be you because 200
Not a stupid idea overall, and much less than 200 megatons would be enough actually. The wave from the enemy bomb would spread in a circular pattern, you only need the opposing wave you send to take care of the fraction that's actually going towards you.
Detonating a nuke would be stupid tho. If you detonate a 500m wave 5km away from your coastline to counter a 500m wave 10km away from your coastline, you'd counter the enemy wave but considering it spreads in a circular pattern you'd also create a 500m wave going towards you.
What you need is a straight line of explosives parallel to your coastline that directs a straight wave specifically away from you and towards the enemy wave, like an earthquake would do. Worse case scenario you create a tiny wave going towards you on top of the 500m wave going towards the enemy wave, but that's a much better alternative than a full size tsunami lol.
@Molanda Moseley of the FBI I know they can't make that big of a wave, I've actually explained this in a comment dumbass.
The principle of countering one wave with another is still a valid solution to any wave of any size, you should know that if you payed attention in your bath. I used the 500m example because it's the one used in the video and I didn't feel like explaining why 500m can't be done with 200 megatons a second time.
@@luckyluke5638 The problem with this theory is that waves traveling toward each other pass right through each other. They subtract or add where they meet, but continue as usual once they pass through each other. You would have to create the counter wave in the same direction as the giant oncoming wave, but it would have to an exact inverse of the oncoming wave, at the exact same wavelength, otherwise you risk making the oncoming wave even larger. But I'm not sure you can even create an inverse wave with a bomb, because all the bomb does is push more water, instead of pulling the water like you would need it to do.
The thing is that Americans and French were detonating nukes underwater to DECREASE the damage :). The 2004 earthquake released approx. 350 Mt of energy and the waves topped only 30 meters.

Build a big underground bunker made of the strongest material you can get with a perimeter made of lead (lead blocks radiation or maybe at least some of it) and have enough food for maybe at least a year. Again, I doubt this would work but it’s better than facing a 500 meter tall radioactive tsunami. Sorry for this being so long I’m not good at explaining things.
Greece: Poseidon creates humanity
Russia: Humanity creates "Poseidon"

I’ve seen you before, but not sure where.
Very very wrong Greek mythology 🇬🇷
In Soviet Russia humanity creates Poseidon.

There's a simple solution:
Just bring Putin to New York
And water will change the direction
Dash Gamer 2 that's a great idea!
You'll need to Putin much effort to Put Putin In NY.
In Soviet Russia, New York comes to Putin 😎
Anirudh Kumar that doesn’t even make sense idiot
Have yourself a helicopter close standing by and ready to be airborne in minutes then say your gawddamn prayers folks. Nothing would be able to stand up to or resist such a monster tsunami full of radioactive water. NOTHING
A nuke tsunami like that would go at least 50 miles inland, probably more which sucks, I'm only about 10 miles from the ocean. I can't even imagine what swallowing that radiated water would be like, I bet your lungs would be on fire.
Living a few hundred miles inland sounds pretty sweet right now...
Russia has regular nukes already aimed for the inland regions...
