Hey!
Everybody's lookin' for somethin'
Somethin' to fill in the holes
We think a lot but don't talk much about it
'Till things get out of control, oh!
How do I know when it's love?
I can't tell you but it lasts forever
Oh! How does it feel when it's love?
It's just somethin' you feel together
When it's love
You look at every face in a crowd
Some shine and some keep you guessin'
Waiting for someone to come into focus
Teach you your final love lesson
Ooh!
How do I know when it's love?
I can't tell you but it lasts forever
Oh! How does it feel when it's love?
It's just something you feel together
(Oh oh oh oh) Oh, when it's love
(Oh oh oh oh) You can feel it, yeah!
(Oh oh oh oh) Nothin's missin', yeah!
(Guitar Solo)
(Oh oh oh oh) Yeah, you can feel it
(Oh oh oh oh) Oh, when it's love
(Oh oh oh oh) When nothin's missing, ow!
How do I know when it's love?
I can't tell you but it lasts forever
Ooh, how does it feel when it' love?
It's just something you feel together, hey!
How do I know when it's love?
I can't tell you but it lasts forever
When it's love
Ooh, when it's love
Hey! It'll last forever
(Na na na-ah na na)
When it's love
(Na na na-ah na na)
(Na na na-ah na na)
(Na na na-ah na na)
You and I, we're gonna feel this thing together
(Na na na-ah na na) (repeat to end)
When it's love, ooh
When it's love, baby
You can feel it, yeah!
We'll make it last forever
Ooh-ooh, when it's love
One of the best bands of all time. Every song was amazing and uplifting. No-one can sing like Sammy and no-one can play like Eddie. This is a reminder of how great music used to be.
This era is my VH. Always will be. Rest in peace Ed.
Eddie was and will be the Best Guitarist of all Time!!! Never to ever be over come
Van Halen at its peak. Michael and Sammy were heart and soul of the band back then. Rest in peace Eddie. One of the greatest ever.
EVH the master, the game changer, the tone, the greatest. The reason I play guitar my biggest influence
Hearing this puts a tear in my eyes. The heart, soul, and feeling he had for his playing was unriveled. The king of harmonics, fills and tapping. Its just sad we won't get to hear anything new from him ever again. The great thing is at least, we had a solid 20+ years of albums and tours to listen to. I am so glad Sammy and him regained their love for one another earlier this year, even if it wasn't publicized. As a fan though, I can't say that I am not sad to see them not get to play together one last time and rekindle that flame. It was a nostalgia trip a lot of fans wanted to see.
Sadly, when they invited Dave back to the band, he refused to sing Sammy songs from the band.
We might be able to hear something unheard of from him since he was sitting on thousands of written riffs/solos in his 5150 studio. Nonetheless, this loss is still so hard to accept.
Nice 👌 really he is the GOAT !
You and me both brother...
Sammy took the band to new heights, when most thought they were dead in the water after Roth’s departure. Not only that,Sammy is a hell of a guy and human being. DLR was ,and still is,an egotistical maniac where everything is about me..me..me. RIP EVH.
The mighty Van Halen. There will never be anything better. I am just so thankful that I was able to see them live
I like this bro
I got to see them with David and with Sammy
I wish I could of seen them in person
Lucky ass
It's sad that we all have to get old...I never thought about it but Sammy is 72!...I mean, I watch the videos, listen to the music thinking time has stopped, frozen. I then realize that I am old too and this is what I'm left with...awesome memories. I'll never accept getting older. I've seen VH everytime they came to Dallas!
My heart is truly broken..kids growing up in the 70’s and 80’s listening to A/C D/C, Motley Crew, Iron Maiden,Black Sabbath,Cinderella to name a few and of course the greatest group Van Halen, was an escape from strict parents, from blistering school work, church on sundays..So Eddie, thank you for the memories, RIP and if you cant do that, im sure God could use a few concerts up there!!!..
I literally broke down in tears when I heard the news, Eddie was my inspiration for picking up a guitar and had such a positive vibe as a man, father and musician. The only other time I have broke down was Roy Orbison. R.I.P Eddie Van Halen, you will be missed by millions of fans and your music will live on forever!!!
And Tom Petty😍😍😍
Same when Eddie passed and it was also with the passing of Neil.
One of the greatest hard rock bands of all time..been a fan for 26 years and forever..play a little guitar and Eddie is one of my heroes..
This makes me smile EVERY time! Thanks VH. RIP ED...
In 1978, at 16 years of age, VH appealed to me with Dave. In 1987 at 25, VH REALLY appealed to me as an adult.....still does at 59.
Dang that outro still gives me chills all these years later. RIP EDDIE.
Sammy is a top vocalist AND the greatest dude ever. I appreciate when an artist can be both highly talented and great minded
Now I can die in peace...I saw Van Halen in a live concert. One of the loudest concert I've ever been.
When they cut all the drama between them. They turn up for work and do outstanding performance's like this awesome live version. Edward and Sammy are friggin Killer here.
As much as I love David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar took Van Halen to greater heights, Sammy is amazing.....
David had the performance God's, but Sammy had the vocals.
Yuuup!... Godbless Eddie Van Halen...
I love Dave's theatrics on stage and his energy. But when Sam came on the scene.. I was hooked!!♡♡♡♡♡
They wrote better music with Dave, but Sammy was the better singer. Also aside from 7 songs (Why Can't This Be Love, Dreams, Love Walks In, When It's Love, Feels So Good, Can't Stop Lovin' You and Not Enough), Van Hagar was NOT a pop sellout and was the same hard rock sound as the Roth years.
@@spaceace4387 Absolutely, 70s and 80's tunes he gave us was Awesome 👌, but for sure, Sammy slapped the icing on that Poundcake..🤙.. And there ending Carrer...
Thank you Eddie, you are there now with the great stars of Rock music watching us all.
When it's love is one of my favorite Van Halen songs! "We look at every face in a crowd, some shine and some keep you guessing, waiting for someone, to come into focus, teach you your final love lesson"! Operative word "FINAL". I read Sammy's book "RED" and it sounds like he's telling on himself!
It's a must read for all you hard core rockers out there!
Robert
R.I.P EDIE VAN HALEN...😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
That Eddie intro is epic. Control tone and creativity sum it up. Great song in every way. Long live VH in either form of lead singers, both brought their own talents.
Beautiful rock song . RIP master...
A heavy metal ballad can be beautiful too. This is one of my favourites❤❤❤❤❤
no smartphones, what a good day to watch music concert.
Yeah, i miss those days...
Thanks for all Eddie Van Halen...RIP.
The yardstick by which other greats will always be measured by. Rock in peace brother!
I’ve always loved how Eddie looks so at ease with the guitar in his hands. He was always having the time of his life up there on stage.
RIP Eddie.
I can’t stop living you, Eddie!!! Rest in peace! 🌹
This song has an incredible groove. Bravo!!!
R.I.P. Eddie Thank you for everything! No doubt a part of me was lost on 10-6-20.... A part of many was lost... We will never stop listening brother!
I played keyboards and was in a cover band and this is my favorite song to cover by far. We also did Love Walks In
I don't normally prefer live songs over the album but man! This is so good. The scream at the very end is beast mode emotion. Love it.
Totally agree with you on that one!!! Beast mode for sure
It Never gets Old..thanks for sharing!
Without any doubt Sammy was the best Voccalist Van Halen has ever had and best stage pressence, this why during his time in the band was the highlitght of their carreer.
Krásná muzika Van Halen! Jsem rád že pořád hrají.
This song brings back so many good memories! RIP guitar legend We from this era all love & appreciate u so much!
Never will forget that concert. Slept in front of Tower Records on Blackstone all night to get tickets. Sold out in less than 30 minutes from what I heard. One of the best memories me and woman will ever have.
Probably the best rock anthem ever made.Cheers EVH you made our tough time rock.Sammy H makes DLR sound like second grade.Brilliant
Great song, always like the chorus on their songs, good melodic rock, and heavy since they came out 36 years ago, and still sound super....
Yeah, I will always remember him like this! Rock on forever Eddie
Rock and Roll needs these guys back together. Come on Eddy!! Bury the hatchet.
i dont care if people keep saying Dave is the best for Van Halen, either as a frontman or Van Halen's music before Van Haggar era. I'm more on the Van Halen's more melodic approach in the later era. Sammy is/was the best singer for VH.
And i Thought, Sammy was the Van Halen, yes, for me he still is that, he's amazing...
One of the greatest songs ever written. Keyboard is so good
Eddie Van Halen....God Bless You!!!
Excellent and definitely the best era for me sammy hagar era and rest in peace Eddie van halen
we love you Eddie
I loved all the early work and the latter years with Sammy. It’s a real shame we never got to see Sammy and Eddie get together again, and perform 😢
Saw them in St. Louis years ago.
Great show.
Can it be any better than this. The perfect band
Sammy came in and did the job to replace Roth. I was there for both vocalist. Roth had an ego but Sammy was a down to earth rocker and shows it. Shame him and Eddie couldn't square things up but that's his loss. As far as talent I give Sammy the win over Roth even today.
I would say that's a good assumption.
I so wish Sammy was still in Van Halen he is awesome
Eddies intro really makes this version along with Mikes backup vocals , such a beautiful song.
Van Halen were so tight as a live band. My God their harmonies and Eddie's rhythm playing is stellar. Saw them twice on f.u.c.k. against the stage both shows. My ears rang for 3 days after but damn it was worth it.
That intro....that solo sounds amazing, million times better than with the piano
+1
I'll take both. "Diamond Dave" or the "Red Rocker." Both have made Van Halen a success.
Always loved both versions but for entirely different reasons.
Sam and Dave brought things to that band at the times that they needed it. VH is better for having both of them, IMO.👍👍
yes they did...both shared all their talent and skills taking VH to highest heights... nobody could ever touch them .. the best Live rock show ever!!!
Damn these guys were on top of the world at the time of this show. Kicking ass.
Always my King Eddie!! The greatest!
the intro by eddie is amazing
agreed
Yep... back when Eddie could still play.
Sortof the opposite to Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love, but in the most incredible way. Right with you there!
Absolutely right.this was their best song imo 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love you Eddie!! Rest in the Heavens♡
Van Hagar always ♥️
The brothers Alex and Eddie VH are the two greats musicians/player of the century 20/21, ever!
In memorian of Eddie VH.
2020 march here still loves this song
RIP Maestro😭, EVH Forever
This songs so pretty it makes my hair stand on end
Best VH song ever!!
Enjoyed it until it last.Thank u Van Halen.i mean it with my heart❤
Thank you Van Halen for the memories, the music, for teaching me to like Michael Anthony more than Eddie and introducing me to a new band when I saw you guys on the For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge tour back in '91. They were called Alice in Chains.
Sammy is amazing in this video. Super good video!!
All great songs van Halen made well done;)
What a beautiful song, my favorite band
VH é o ápice... top of the world!!
For a 45 years old man ,sammy he still got it
MEZCLA DE AMOR Y ROCK. QUE BUENA COMBINACIÓN. GRANDE VAN HALEN!!!
They were. Took my girl (wife now) to her first concert. Van Halen 2nd row, in Sunrise, FL.They sounded like the CD. She put her hands over her ears at the start, and mouthed that it was so loud. It was a great night. I remember it like it was last month. Eddie, Sammy work out your differences. You only live once, and time is running out.
Nice to see this kind comments :) If you like this sound, check the updated version of this: *Van Halen - Right Here Right Now Concert (HD) - The (remastered) audio file link is in description* (sound's better)
And time really was running out :(
VH. Is always the best with Sammy or Dave. And Gary tooo. It was a great album
RIP Eddie
One of the greatest ever
i saw the a scope, Norfolk, Va same year. What a great sound.
This is live folks, absolutely amazing.x
Amazing band....amazing song and amazing love
I still have my dad's VHS of this concert, "Right Here, Right Now"... awesome show, i was born in 1991... dammit, a little bit too late
Lol...you were born a lot too late brother! Glad to see you enjoy this stuff all these years later!
Rock on man!👍
this version is awesome...
the great thing is, the background singers got lead singer qualities....
That's Michael Anthony for you. The bass player.
@@shepherdkagl2329 also Eddie
Lipsynch, mate
Yeah mean Michael Anthony and Eddie Van Halen?
@@alexanderp7948 Hardly you buffoon. They'd been playing this live for years and no instrumemtalist in any band I've ever seen or heard could deliver the high harmony like Mikey.
Absolutely amazing tour.
I bet VH concerts during the Sammy years were amazing.
i saw them on the 5150 tour, the show was only their fourth concert. it was awesome
Greg Stephens I saw them on this tour... most amazing concert ever
Greg Stephens they sure were. I saw them on four different tours between 1986 and 1995, then again on the reunion tour.
They absolutely were, my friend!
Saw them probably on this tour. Was fantastic!
EVH and Michael had some of the best backing vocals iv'e heard. 🎶
Very very very ..and very good song and music..all player r too good..beautiful voice.
Hagar was the man, he took Van Halen to a mature level. He made them what they are. I swear he looks like Bolton.
Absolutely AMAZING LIVE VID FROM THEM. RITE UP THERE WITH THEIR LIVE “5150” vid
this is the real deal and how they should be remembered
One of my favourite songs
came here to remember a guitar god best to you in another life better then this one
That drummer is freaking awesome 😁😘😍😆🥰
This hits me so hard right now. Rust zacht Edward.😢
The album this tour promoted, F.U.C.K., was the first one I purchased. I was a fan of Sammy during his solo career prior to VH, and DLR's contributions to the band I appreciated, but I remember listening to this album and being blown away. They definitely brought a harder sound to the table this time around, and songs like "Judgment Day", "This Dream Is Over", and "Spanked" showed they could hang with the change that was coming in the hard rock/metal scene. Grunge was already beginning to overtake the glam metal spot both in the music and pop culture scene, but holdovers like these guys still had their place in the niche. By the time they released "Balance" in '95, they'd once again reinvented themselves and had found a foothold in the scene. This was the VH that I remember and always will.
Song of my life
Eddie and Alex van Halen, we miss u in Indonesia your mom home town...
My hubby loves them both!
one of my first albums i bought was a Van Halen album and i played it a lot in my sony walkman disc player
Rest In Peace Eddie and Thank You.
