Hi brother, how did you set up your beam/header for your rings and rope? Anyway you could take a close up pic of it? I have a similar barn and I am trying get them set up as well. Thanks.
Hey! Yeah I did, I bolted a 4x6 beam to my trusses. I am currently working on a video of our home gym and I’ll be sure to include that! Are you on instagram? I can send you some close up pictures of it there
If you’re using it for CrossFit or mixed modality training then the CXT-1 for sure! Heck, I’m not sure what they WOULDNT be good for. I wear mine to work sometimes because they are not only great trainers but also some of my favorite shoes that I own! I was just talking to a member from my gym about them and he said the same thing. He wears them everywhere now!
Might want to wait a little longer! A little bird told me they're out of stock on all the CXT-1 because the CXT-2 are about the drop! @@hrishchandratre8970
Does this beat Metcon 8 in terms of overall performance in Cross-training? My Mets 8 had issues with its sole, particularly the forefoot sole peeling off despite one month of use 4x a week. TYR looks like it will not have any issues like that due to the sole being in one piece.
Yeah, I haven’t seen the front of the Metcons come off before! In terms of performance I think they are very similar but I will give CXT-1 the first place because they are much easier for running and much more comfortable for walking around in the rest of the day. Thanks for watching!
As far as trainers go, they are great for running IF you run with a midfoot strike. If you heel strike then you’re going to have a hard time finding any cross trainers that feel good and have good support for lifting. I wouldn’t say that have a lot of absorption but they are flexible and light on the front of the shoe. I have run 5 miles in them before and been fine. I just got the new version the CXT-2 and they are looking like I’m going to like them even better! Little wider toe box and some other features you might want to look at. Thanks for watching!
Oh they’re going to feel really good compared to running shoes! Give them a couple weeks to break in though! The more you use them, the better they get! Thanks for watching and following!
I'm a little confused, my nano x2 is size US 8.5 around 26.8cm feet...but in the TYR size chart 26.8cm feet is size US10....what do you suggest to do?
I’d go with the same size you wear in Nanos. I’m not sure about the measurements but the TYRs are true to size for me.
Thanks for watching!

I am considering buying between metcon 9 v x4 v CXT 1? Which one should I go for? Many thanks for the video

@@TheSampleySixawesome thanks for the speedy reply! I’m leaning towards the TYR just need them to be in stock 😂

@@TheSampleySix thank you! I’m just looking for a cross training that can help with the run 😉
How much do they weigh?
I love how light my Metcons feel. I tried GoRuck Ballistic trainers & they were too heavy. Ended up just staying with Metcons.
They are just slightly lighter than my Metcon 8 at 10.9 vs 11.2 oz. Also, these are by far my top two trainers!
Great review
Thank you!
Do they fit like Metcon? Do you have the same size?
Yeah! I do wear the same size! Thanks for watching!
Think it's good for squatting?
They’re great for squatting! I squat heavy (for me) in them twice a week!
DAMN! really appreciate the fast response. i just wanted an upgrade for my leg workouts since i only use running shoes (which are horrible lol)

Do you know the equivalence of size compared to reebok for exemple. Does she fit big or small? thanks for the review.
They’re true to size for me and I wear the same size in these as I do in Reeboks! Thanks for watching!
