So often people don't talk about the symptoms, how the window mechanism was working.... that lead them to the repair. But your comment that hitting it with the hammer often got the window (motor) to start working again, was perfect for me to hear. My window will work intermittently when I bound on the door with my fist. So that simple comment of yours really let me know I was on the right track with your video.....Thanks.

Did you remove the glass? I can’t get my regulator out without removing the glass??

I had a question about the Hyundai window regulators, specifically the gear that strips out. Have you tried using jb weld or any type of plastic epoxy for an easy fix? I have already replaced the left rear regulator assembly on my Hyundai Tucson (a nice $300 OEM part) and the same thing just happened again on my front left regulator. Do you think it’s worth to go through the process of just replacing the gear by itself?
