Thanks for the video! I appreciate videos that include tips for poor underpriviledged fisherman who don't have access to boats. A video or two of fishing entirely from shore would be great! I'm a new subscriber. You weren't kidding when you said "explosive"!
Thanks ,that helps me a lot. I fish from a boat ( small 14 ft aluminum boat set up for bass fishing ) but my wife likes to set and fish for pan fish or catfish. I live 5 miles from Rayburn and usually fish top water under cypress trees and in the shallows because I don't have the equipment to go deep and find the fish. These tips will definitely make my trips with my wife more successful. Thanks again. I hope this video helps others.
Never used to be crappie in my water. Then a few years ago BOOM I caught a bunch of 11-12 inchers. But only one here, one there ever since, even fishing same area, same time of year, same tackle, same weather pattern. They can't be all gone can they?!?. Maybe these tips will help me find them again. They are fun to catch and delicious to eat.
In Sierra foothill reservoirs, channels can be down hundreds of feet, and with water levels down 100 feet and varying that much or more each year, undercuts and overhead branches are unheard of. But I know crappie are in there, and not just at the ends of the arms. Bass feed on crappie, so I figure, where the bass are, look for crappie nearby. So I follow bass seasonal patterns to find crappie.
Oh my God bro that was freaking awesome your buddy move perfectly with the explosions LOL 😜😜😜😜😜... Now this video I believe has definitely struck to the meat and potatoes of fishing and how a lot of people cannot afford the fancy Electronics ....I can definitely say that I have benefited from this video👍👍👍 thanks a lot Buddy👍👍👍😁😁😁🎣🎣🎣
Great video. Hey, when sinking a brushpile, would it be better to drop it off the edge of the channel in deeper water or on the flat beside the channel? Or does it matter? Thanks again.
I’m surprised I haven’t randomly caught a Crappie. Bluegill and the other sunfish are so easy to come by. I don’t even think I’ve seen one to be honest.
What kind of adaptor do you use to mount the livescope transducer to the trolling motor shaft? Looks like something to keep the cable away from the shaft.
I have a very simple question. I’m a beginner fisherman. I’ve never even caught a crappie before. So some of the terminology I don’t understand yet. So, what is a “brush pile”? When I hear that word I think a like a dead tree bush or bushes.
It's a dead tree or branch, same thing you were thinking. They can also be made with PVC plastic pipe. The plastic ones last longer because they don't rot
That scared me. Not your fault. Isreal and all. First time watching. Thanks for the tips. Just a little flashback. Nothing I can't handle. Old man. But still ready. Scouts out. I gotta catch some crappie. Can't eat red meat. My favorite fish and I've never fished for them. Weird I know. Caught 6 nice cats on Guntersville a few days ago. Average 5 lbs. Just right for me.
@@GrandLakeGuy it was exciting. I just read reply. I can't believe I even said that. I'm ex military. I must have just watched footage of Isreal before watching you. Watched it again. All the sudden I'm allergic to read meat. Alpha Gall. So I gotta learn to catch more fish. And I love crappie. Thanks again. Good luck on your ventures.
An idea for a future video, use the methods in this video to locate good spots then verify that schools of crappie are actually there with electroonics.
great tips. I'm in between fish finders so I'll use this information. Knowing where the underwater structure is helps me also. Thanks

I would drop brush right on the edge of the channel, not in the channel though. Then put some on the flats and see which ones hold fish

Watch out for the FLACK ! LOL .

It's the Cornfield Crappie Livescope transducer mount for the Motorguide Xi5.
Love the explosive effects brother. My first time viewing your videos and all I can say is GREAT TIPS!!
Thanks!! Much appreciated

First of all , its Crappie , Not croppie , thats my tip of the day
Yeah, all you need is a $40,000 speed boat.
Go fish docks, big surprise
You did a decent job with this, but your map was digital………….
