- The EP-133 K.O. II is a powerhouse, combining the functionalities of a sampler, sequencer, and composer, allowing users to easily record sounds, sequence samples, and explore a realm of stereo effects, all from the comfort of their lap, or a small desktop. Its built-in mic and speaker increase its versatility, allowing users capture and playback audio with ease.

The EP-133 K.O. II comes equipped with 6 stereo voices or 12 mono voices, and its 64MB memory, complemented by 999 sample slots and preset samples, allows for the creation of an extensive library at the tips of your fingers. Navigating the high-resolution sequencer with built-in FX, a fader, and pressure-sensitive pads makes creating landscapes a breeze.
In addition to the built-in FX, the EP-133 K.O. has introduced a revamped version of the Punch-In FX, familiar to the OP-Z and the original PO-33 K.O. The Punch-In FX 2.0 are a great way to manipulate and add variation to your beats in realtime with some rather wild visualizations on the full color display for your enjoyment.
Powered by 4 AAA batteries or USB-C, the EP-133 K.O. II is designed for on-the-go creativity. Its compact dimensions and weight make it a portable powerhouse. The EP-133 K.O. II also boasts audio I/O capabilities that rival its larger contemporaries. With a 24-bit stereo input featuring a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 96 dBA and a max level of 8 dBu, it ensures pristine audio capture. The stereo headphone/line output, also 24-bit, delivers high-fidelity sound with an SNR of 98 dBA and a max level of 5 dBu.
For seamless integration into your setup, the EP-133 K.O. II offers MIDI input and output with TRS type A connectors. Packaged in a limited edition 10" collector's box, the EP-133 K.O. II is not only a cutting-edge musical instrument, but also a collector's item. Teenage Engineering has once again combined innovation with aesthetics, delivering a product that is as visually striking as it is sonically powerful.

Those animations look sick. Brilliant use of the segment display 🤯
Indeeed at first I was like wtf but then realized their intention
Bought one today and had no idea about the effects animations amazing thank you can’t wait
Got mine today and I’m amped to get started. Amazon can get it to you quicker than anyone. Mine was just ordered last night.
Finally a beat on the KO
got this on repeat for the last 2o minutes!
HOT beat 🔥
Getting one.
Sick.
What's up bro, I have a ko 2, I'm trying to record it into audacity, I have a m audio solo interface and 1/8inch to 1/4 inch cable.Any advice would help I'm kind of new to This. Much respect
Had mine for a few weeks, just sold it 😂. Koala app is more functional.
dope
But how does this transfer to protocol or fl
Hey who's playing this? Would love to connect with you about a project!
Texas instruments/Dj Shadow/Tron
Can one do the same velocity and pressure sensitive effect on tracker, DAW a D traditional hardware too?
Koala sampler right on your iPad or phones. Both ios and Android
Are the pads noisy when you push them?
Yeah they sound like computer keys
Pressure sensitive too!
@@chikapunk4340that wierd
They’re clicky. Like an old school mechanical keyboard.
Very
So now the game for teenage engineering. How overpriced is it?
Bad gear
Beat was trash fam. Animation’s?😂 people need to focus on making better music.
have fun being the guy nobody likes
Appreciate the feedback ❤
What are you even talking about Nancy?
I dig the music!! it's a great demo - and now go back to your sad life ... haters gonna hate
Sad little person you are 😂
Been waiting for someone to touch soul on this cause that’s all ima do
Just ordered mine. Super excited.
dopest beat so far, real talk
Nice beatz!! Just ordered mine, I am not a musician, I just like exploring new sounds, and this will be a beautiful toy to play with!
I love my KO. Now I've got to have the KOII, and the price isn't outrageous! It's limitations are weirdly inspiring. Learning to work with what you have, just like my analog gear.
i think you just made me buy one lol.
And it can do your taxes!
Sooo excited to try it, just ordered today
Only Hip Hop??? No afrobeat, no Brazilian funk, no Latin ritmos? Alweys Hip Hop?????
This was made for Lofi ❤ Thank you
Just so damn fun to watch. If I didn't have a Smpltrek...this is the first in a series, right? TE, do a groovebox version next!
Looking forward to some really creative vids of this machine, unlike this one
Mine came today. I haven't opened it yet.
please make more of these using the glitchy effect or the effects in general! they're sooooo good
Honestly can't get enough of this
For also same price can get a AKAI MPC!
Such a fun device. I was worried it would be too similar to the 404. It’s a beast of its own
would you recommend this or the 404? Cns't decide between the 2
@@MikeMackie The 404 does a lot more. If you can only have one (and one really doesn’t need to have both), you won’t regret going with the 404. Unless you can afford an MPC which pwns both of them
Ordered this 20 mins ago. I cant wait to make some fire with this. I have MPCs and a Maschine but this is such a breath of fresh air and looks so fun to create with.
Lmao why cripple yourself
how has it been?
The machine has a lot of personality
sheeeeeshhhhhhh
very cool beat and awesome display
The autism box 64.
Amazing
I waaaaaaaaaaaaaant one 😢😢😢😢😢
I love this
Mines otw 🫡🔥
What makes this better than the Akai s series or Yamaha a4000 for same price tho? Can the display go oscilloscope at least? Speak and spell. #doormouse speak and spell mod levels tho.
Wow
When I saw the first clip of this thing, and THEN saw the price tag, it was a no-brainer.
One of the best jams I've seen with the ko II so far. Love the clap selection. Is there a snare or rim layered underneath?
This is cool man. Sounds high quality! Crispy. Love it
I love everything about this thing it's so intelligent. Lol
I got this in the mail!!! Oh ya! Along with a po 35
Just ordered mine
Can you record the effects in Realtime?
I believe you can
Probably. You can do this with the pocket operators.
Cool~~~~~~~~~~
Can thia compete with sp404mk2???
Judging by how excellent the sequencer is it kicks the shit out of Roland’s menu diving senseless buried workflow unless of course you like the sp404 workflow, of course the 404 has a massive sample memory though.
@@thelibrarian3734 never had one just old mpcs this reminds me of mpc 2000 xl
Sounds like the early 2000s
Kann man das Gerät auch als loop-player verwenden?❤
Jesus man ❤❤
Mind is blown that this thing is not $2000. TE, allowing the proles to also enjoy their devices 🤣💪🏼
pssssshhhhhhh these are the comments that will make TE raise prices by 2x
This costs them like $50 to make
@@animals_are_aliveyou're talking about just the factory cost of production right?
@@animals_are_aliveof course, but millions to develop
@@animals_are_aliveSource?
what speaker are you using?
That’s hot and you know it sir.
No 2 artist class of 2001 no 3
Sweet beat
LOVE my KO2!
How many preset sounds does this ship with? Can't find that info anywhere
999 sample sounds every 100 is a category. You can replace them with yours and they’ll be crunched to fit in the 64MB of storage
@@Afromaki hey hey! Thanks for this - you sure though? Everything I’ve seen just says that it has *space* for 999 samples, but I haven’t seen a list or anything else beyond that the 100’s are kicks, 200s are snares, 300s are hats, etc. Probably picking one up soon regardless, but trying to see the variety that’s included (or not!)
@@Afromaki AHA. found the answer via this vid. Kicks are 1-99, Snares 100-199, Hats 200-299, Percussion 300-399, Bass from 400-499 and Melodic sounds from 500-599. Seems like 600-999 are blank / for user samples. ua-cam.com/video/xB8b9laK7as/v-deo.htmlsi=zRpppRdEjZPkfmzw&t=533
@@redboy.the first 3 banks are filled and the last one is for you to add , but you acn also just remove their banks
999
Sick
Sick❤
impressive little surprise this machine is. Is there a way to turn off or reduce this display madness optical information overflow when hitting any fx like you do? I would get crazy with this display color dance tbh
You should probably look for the PO-33 K.O.
@@brorianszk I can’t- don’t like working with miniature things tbh. For me the lower size limit is something like a minilogue and one step smaller , Erica Synths Db01. Smaller than this and I can’t enjoy the workflow. It looks like fun simply not for me. Thanks nonetheless 🙏
@@saardean4481 Some people modded the PO (some PO?).
You might find something convenient for you.
Calculator lol
So everyone is just cool with letting Teenage Engineering use a legendary fighter’s image on a sh** product? ..im out.
The video stops midway through. What’s so good about it?
No working slider or knob just like TE intended 🤣
2K? 💸
The Adult Engineering EP-333 K.O.III coming after this little $300 BETA tester with be the one to TOUR with.....
Nice toy
This is not a toy.
