I believe there is a third lightsaber on M4-78,When heading to the environmental zone, past the forcefield there is a sith body. If you loot it you get a lightsaber.

My favorite thing about the first knights of the old republic was collecting lightsabers from fallen enemies like general grievous i haven't yet played the second game.

I know it’s an old video. But I just got the game on switch. And I learned that that if you use your lightsaber to open the container it won’t drop the lightsaber. I was so happy I saved beforehand.
There's another lightsaber on Dantooine if you let Jorran out of the enclave sublevel, you talk to him later on and you can buy "Jedi artifacts" off him for 1000 credits. He gives you a lightsaber, color crystal and emitter/cell
You are correct but that is for vanilla version. I should have clarified in the video. Jorran gives it to you in vanilla, with TSLRCM its from the Padawan instead. They took it away from Jorran since they have the Padawan give it to you.
Thank you very much! I still really enjoy it. I still chuckle at the rude insults you can say, one of my favorite parts of the game. I am also a little forgiving knowing the studio had to rush the game to get it out. There are some UA-cam videos on the backstory of the making of the game and the restored content. Interesting stuff. Nostalgia probably does play a huge factor in me loving it so much. I am a Consular fan boy myself, but going the Guardian/WeaponsMaster route is another way I like to play.
Love to hear it! I just got the mobile version for testing purposes so I am doing a fresh playthrough as well. I would pay full price for a remaster. Don't touch the story or gameplay. Leave it as is but update the graphics and I'll pay full AAA price for it!

Another spot on nar shaddaa, I need to test more to confirm it but after you do ALL the side quests for the refuge sector, including the mom and child separation, hussef should give you a part or full lightsaber. Again not 100% sure but I know I have gotten a saber from him a few times at least
Do comment and let me know if you confirm this. I have read several forums stating this same thing. Don't know if I read that all the side quests needed to be completed but I will also give it a whirl in my next playthrough. Haven't been able to trigger it myself.
@@CatDaddyGaming in vanilla I only had to wipe out the thugs (serrico?) And convince the exchange to grant more space and its a 100% lightsaber/ part location. Tested and confirmed on two save files over several days of play time. At least for me. Hope that might help.

To be fair, you don't need all those lightsabers, but this is a great video because I had no idea how to beat Nar shaddaa, I had no idea how to knock out the cat pounds or that you had to go into stealth mode because the game really doesn't tell you that and I've been playing this game for like 20 years! I know it actually hasn't been 20 years but I think it's almost getting up to that amount of time which is crazy to think that this game is to young people is what Mario was to me when this game came out
Save before you get your lightsabers. Otherwise you might not get the type you want. They randomly spawn as Short Lightsaber, Lightsaber and Double Blade Lightsaber. Depending on what you want you could end up disapointed otherwise.
Couldn't agree more! I am playing the mobile version right now and had to do just this at Vogga's stash. Got 3 short sabers and a double bladed before I finally got a normal one like I wanted!

Think I will leave the Deciple with one double blade, but will replay the last one to get a normal blade. Maybe I will give one double blade to Visas. I wonder if there is a mod where Bao Dur modifies lightsabers between the three states on request.

Windows refused to work on role back, could not redownload windows 10. Now getting KOTOR 2 withdrawl symptoms. Decided to upgrade storage on reinstall so friend who is an IT professional now fixing and upgrading PC. I need my KoTOR 2 fix.
@@CatDaddyGaming Bao Dur with a double bladed lightsaber makes me think of Exar Kun. He only used one arm to weild it unlike Darth Maul who used two hands. I always thought Bao Dur energy arm wouldn't work properly to weild anything in the hand so in my head cannon I think one handed shoto or no weapon.
Correction to the M4-78: It's only available for english version of TSLRCM (workshop version). Non english versions of the mod does not have integrated M4 so using standalone version of this mod may turn game unstable or into language problems like missing name of weapons or objects.
Ah! This I did not know. Thanks for pointing it out to me. I have never tried the non-English versions so that is some good information to know. Probably takes away from the experience if you have to get the English version but don't speak English. I know they have a Russian M4-78 on there but couldn't find any other languages.
M4-78 is Standalone. You can play TSLRCM without M4-78 but you can't play M4-78 without TSLRCM. Steam has a version that had them both combined. DeadlyStream might too but it isn't hard at all to install them separately.
Okay so another lightsaber part is on Dantooine in enclave sublevel. When you rescue Jorron(I think that's his name) from the locked door after the laigreks ambush him, rescue him and he gives you a part right in the enclave or at the settler camp. I play the vanilla version on the original Xbox, so no restored content mod for me :'( and I always seem to go Dantooine first just get my lightsaber quick. I will get the part from Jorron, the part from Zherron for the dead salvagers will, Bao Dur builds my lightsaber, I go to the crystal cave to get my damage crystals, then go back to the salvager camp and buy lightsaber parts from Daraala. She has so much lightsaber equipment. Color crystals m everything. By the Visas is waiting for me; I don't like fighting her w/ out a lightsaber cause you know ;) And by that point I usually leave Dantooine cause fighting Vrook is super hard early on like that. Plus I hate that old fucker so I like the idea of leaving him in his cage for a few months while run around on Nar Shadaa and the other planets.
Yes I think you are right. I could have swore he gave you a part. I remember back in the day playing on original Xbox and getting one. Now I play the Steam version and have the restored content mod on all the time. They may have patched that out in the mod as the last few playthroughs I have done I only get regular upgrade parts for my lightsaber. Not any of the 3 main pieces you need. Thanks for confirming this. I hadn't been able to get one the last 3 times talking to him so I didn't put it in there since it wasn't happening to me. Maybe it is only for vanilla versions of the game. I agree with you Vrook is an asshole though lol he always bust out the force heal right as you almost defeat him XD

Yes, my most recent playthrough I am in now, I am just about to do my last planet. I am going darkside and I accidently sided with the Queen instead of Vaklu so I couldnt kill Kavar. So I am just about to run into him at the Jedi Enclave.
Those are some excellent ideas. I will have to look into doing that. That is one of the reasons I love deflection so much. They are half health from there own blaster fire by the time I get closed enough to attack them lol. I appreciate the suggestions. I may have to crank out a vid like that. Does anyone notice that the setting of Star Wars KOTOR 1 mirrors the Prequel Trilogy and Star Wars KOTOR 2 mirrors Original Trilogy: KOTOR 1/Prequel Trilogy: a) Galactic Republic is on war with the Sith Empire in the Jedi Civil War much like Galactic Republic is on war with Confederacy of Independent Systems in the Clone Wars. b) Both have Jedi Order and work with the Republic. KOTOR 2/Original Trilogy: a) Galactic Republic was not that strong after Jedi Civil War (in dark side ending of KOTOR 1) while Galactic Republic was wiped out at the end of the Clone Wars. b) Both of the Jedi Order are gone and surviving Jedis are in hiding.

@@CatDaddyGaming Since the KOTOR games are not recognise as canon, you can guarantee that if they ever do the Old Republic storyline, it will be a reboot in order to fit into the new canon. If there is ever a new KOTOR game, it will be from EA, not from Bioware or Obsidian.
You should be getting the lightsaber. I believe it is around the time the second ship of people looking for you shows up. It could be in another cannok. Trying 100%ing the map and killing every creature. Hope that does the trick.
At 2:47, if you tell Lootra that you'll help him but then go talk to him again and kill him instead, you'll still get the part and will not get LS/DS points.
I always wondered why there was a picture of the exile with a lightsaber on peragus. It was either on the back of the Xbox game case or somewhere in the prima play through guide.
seems like half the game is missing without the restored content mod because im on Onderon and was only able to get 1 lightsaber throughout my journey, done most side missions before main objectives on each planet
The one that you find in the cage thing? Maybe reload before you entered if you are not too far progressed since then. Its usually there with the holopad from Master Vash. If your lightsaber hasn't been crafted it is possible you just got one of the 3 pieces.
I had around 3 sabers, and I randomly found a fourth and idk when so that might be it, I've seen that my game sometim doesn't tell me when I pick up something
I’ve been playing this game since its release and I have never received a lightsaber through most of the methods here. If I’m lucky, I might have 7 lightsabers by the time I get to the ravager… but that’s including the ones dropped by the sith.
What platform you play on? These locations are all legit and tested. With the exception of M478, all these locations work for all versions of the game.
This is really late, but it is also an garante to get a doublebladed lightsaber from the first of the sith you kill at the end of dxun part 2(the bossfight kinda) .
You can actually get a lightsaber from the scavenger dude who is in the Jedi Enclave if you save them and pay credits, he’ll give you a artifacts and one of those artifact is a light saber
Very true. If you have the Restored Content Mod, Jorran won't give you the lightsaber anymore. It is now obtained from another person you meet in the Enclave that isn't in the Vanilla version.
I also found that if you talk to the refugee chief, I think his name is Hueseff but, if you talk to him after you get the refugees more space from the exchange by talking to the squid dude, he will give you a lightsaber. I was playing on base version not TSLRCM so I don't know if it works on there.
I have heard this many times from many people but have never done it myself. I am currently playing around with quests on Nar Shaddaa so I will have to test. It is possible it is a vanilla only thing

@@WingZX1103 Unfortunately, lightsabers awarded to you are usually random. There is a way to get one though using the good 'ol save and reload spam. So right before you get one, like maybe before turning in the tampered will to Zherron, just simply make a save file right before you talk to him. Talk to him and get the lightsaber. If he gives you a short lightsaber or a standard one, just reload the save you made and try again. Its random so you might have to give it a few goes but that should get you one. I usually do it when I get short lightsabers cuz I don't like those ones lol
CatDaddy Gaming ummm you actually can get a double bladed light saber to drop on duxun during the with temple run from any of the Sith Lords. I had it as a random drop today
@@WingZX1103 Yeah I think there are a few that are for sure decided for you. Now that you mention it, I think the Sith dudes in the temple always drop a red double bladed lightsaber. Right before you find the other dead sith dudes short lightsaber.
A few location are specific sabers but generally the sabers are randomly generated. If you keep getting the kind of sabers you don't want just use the save reload technique. Save before getting a lightsaber. If you get one you don't like, just reload the save from before and you can do this until you get the saber you are after.
Just come across them at the locations mentioned in the video. Save before you get the lightsaber and if you don't get the one you want, reload the save and try again.
Your Main Character crystal? You find that in the Crystal Cave on Dantooine. You just need your 3rd lightsaber part then. Head to any of these locations and the game will give you your final part. Once Bao Dur assembles your lightsaber for you these locations will start giving you full sabers.
Well, I don't if i gonna get an answer, but I'd like to know about your textures man. Are they the base textures or mods? I really don't know cuz I've used the steam workshop textures since I downloaded the game so I didn't get to know the default textures
Even funnier if you imagine Ewan McGreggor picking it up, swinging it arround making his own lightsaber sound effects. Apparently during The Phantom Menace he kept making the sound effect during the practice on set.

I couldn't get the lightsaber from Voggas room. I've got one from there before but not on the playthrough I'm on now. I tried loading saves again but still never got it.
You are not the first person I have heard this from. Usually the reload technique works, maybe try loading before you do the dancing for Vogga. However since the game is known for its bugs, guess it wouldn't be to far out that it didn't work for you this playthrough. I usually do the container on the left first. You get the saber as you open the container and not actually from inside the container. If you mash buttons on opening its possible you passed the item screen and it is still in your inventory. Hope you get it. I know every saber counts when you split up your team during the Onderon Invasion lol

I tried doing Voggas room multiple times after different quests but no saber. I wish I could just buy parts and assemble them or buy lightsabers from a merchant. The same happened to me. So I sent Bao-Dur to open the container and voila! a lightsaber! I guess that being a guardian was not enough to open it, without breaking it. You need a tech guy.
You have to eliminate all the exchange thugs for her to leave. I can't remember if it is every single exchange thug in the refugee sector but you for sure need to kill the 2 thugs by the entrance when you first enter the area. It is a mod I got from Steam. There is one to make Bao Dur look that way, but there is also another one to make the main character look like Darth Maul. Let me know if you want the link for it and I'll drop it here for ya.

@@melancholiclonging8641 Unfortunately you will have to restart your game if you add the mod on part way through. The only mods you can add and remove at any time are reskins and retextures. Since the restoration mod changes story and quest files, you will run into a lot of issues trying to play previous saves without it.

I don't believe so. The only one you can "craft" is your very first one where you bring Bao Dur the 3 pieces. After that you find full already built lightsabers and can't craft them from found parts. You can only upgrade (or remove upgrades) on the workbench.
On Dantooine the Jedi Padawan wasn't there, only Jorrun or whatever his name was. Bought what he found and it wasn't a lightsaber. I have the most updated version of TSLRCM and M4-78. What did I do wrong?
Did you search the whole place? So when you first enter the Enclave. You can go left or right. But if you run around that circle and head straight, there are the empty rooms and you should run into the padawan there.
@@CatDaddyGaming Yup turns out I'm actually high-speed retarded and totally forgot that area opposite from the entrance. I got it. Also got a nifty influence increase from Kreia by leading the bug things to the door that Jorran is in and lying about the area being clear. She said I created an 'echo'.

I know this is a one year old video, and you probably already know about this, but I thought I’d put the comment here just so that anyone else playing the game would know it. There is a light saber on Dantooine, or at least a light saber part, that you can get from Jorran from the Jedi enclave sub level if you rescue him.
I had thought that Jorran gave you a part but I wasn't 100% sure at the time since I hadn't gotten one from him but I figured out the catch. So vanilla version of the game he does give you a lightsaber part. The catch is if you have TSLRCM on. If you have TSLRCM installed, you get that part from Kaevee, the padawan in the Enclave. That's why I wasn't getting one from him during testing due to using the restored content. So yes you are absolutely correct unless you have restored content, then you just get it from someone else in the Enclave.

@GitchGamerx Yes, these lightsaber locations are the same for all versions. Only ones that won't be the same are M478 planet since only PC version has that planet.
I have heard of this happening before. You don't actually get it from the container. You get it as you click on the container, rather than in its contents. There are 3 scenarios which usually happen. 1 is you got the lightsaber and its in your inventory, you just didn't get the prompt. 2 is you didn't get it like stated. Trying loading a previous save and redoing the dance sequence. 3 is you didn't get the lightsaber and the game won't give you it to you even after reloading. I have seen this happen to quite a few users. A real bummer cuz you should get one from there. It will definitely suck not having that saber early on, but do another planet or 2 and you should have enough lightsabers for a full party of Jedi.
Tough to say what the best would be. Most would probably argue whichever combo gives you maximum damage output. I, myself always go for blaster bolt deflection. I prefer to build it with the right amount of everything. Here is my favorite build, Superior Ion Energy Cell, Expert Deflection Emitter, Improved Beam Gem Lens, Hurikkane Crystal and Main Character Crystal. That is a nice mix of droid damage, blaster bolt deflection, a Keen upgrade, and damage boosting. On my channel I have a Lightsaber Upgrade Guide where I go through a few different build styles. But half the game I am Frankensteining together whatever I have lol
@@CatDaddyGaming While "Character Name" crystal is great, but it makes me don't want to use other crystals combination for the main character, so it is good and bad at the same time :)) They shouldn't make it an OP crystal, maybe some damage or defense bonus depends on alignment, but attribute bonus making it hard to toss away.
Without restored content mod, Upari Crystal, Barab Orce Ingot/Ankerres Sapphire/Personal Crystal, Expert Fencing Emmiter, Ponite Lens, Telgorn Energy Cell III/Ultimate Diatom Energy Cell. With restored content mod it's Personal Crystal and Hurrikane.
I will have to take a weekend to refresh myself with the first one. I am still in the process of beating Fallen Order. I was taking my time with it though. I am on the last level of it, so maybe after I'll fire up KOTOR 1. Hard to find free time some weeks though!
What is the best way to get a saber for two of my companions early on? I made Atton and Bao-Dur Jedi immediately after landing on Nar Shaddaa (the first planet I went to). The salvager will didn't spawn for me on dantooine. Did I do something wrong or is my game bugged? Editing this now, my game isn't bugged. I'm just an idiot. Great video man
Correct. You build your first one but all others after have to be found. You van build it in terms of upgrades and add ons, but you can't assemble one from scratch
So you need 3 lightsaber parts for him to craft the Saber. Lightsaber upgrade lens won't do the trick. You get the first part from finishing Citadel Station. The other 2 are acquired from any of these Lightsaber locations. If you don't have a Lightsaber, any of these locations that give you a Lightsaber will give you a part instead.
I believe you are referring to the two thug dudes when you enter the refugee sector. You can't miss them as they confront you right as you enter the area. Like it's impossible to get into the refugee sector without them confronting you.

@@CatDaddyGaming yup. Got the final piece on Nar Shada (I triggered Visas while I was on Citadel station), went and completed Dantooine, then hit up Dxun.
@@CatDaddyGaming I think I figured it out. For other reasons I went back and restarted at my hard save just before leaving Telos, and when I got to Dxun, was careful about my quick saves. This time I went through killing Canocks in the correct area before talking to Kelborn or enlisting the neophyte mando on my zakegg hunt (never know what flags those 2 could trip), and the cannock that's near the point the 2nd of Tobin's scouts spawns at (the ones complaining about not having heard from 2 other scout groups) is the one with the lightsaber. I think taking Kelborn's quest before doing that gives you a chance that the scouts kill that cannock or the scout instance prevents it from spawning (who knows) or SOMETHING that prevents the lightsaber from being available to you. So, for future reference: kill the Canocks on the Northwest side of the map to find the one with the component or saber before talking to Kelborn. I also made sure to get the task from the Mando mechanic fixing the relay dish, so I'm expected to clear out Canocks. Not sure if that's a necessary flag for saber spawn or not. I don't have a way to examine the code.
Some of the Sith do drop lightsabers. But this usually doesn't happen until way after you have crafted your lightsaber. You will have to find the 3 parts no matter what unless you cheat yourself a lightsaber. Best to get it done as fast as possible so you can have you saber for combat.
Tryna find hyperdrive after that of the beginning of the level ... I defeated the giant Droid but I think made mistake killing the green guy who trapped himself
You talking about the military base on Telos? Giant Droid can really mess you up lol. You will overload some droids in a room near the end and on those droid remains is what your looking for. I don't think killing the Twi'lek down there does anything negative expect loses influence with Bao-Dur if you bring him along.
@@dannyrosabal9176 Oh no! This game and its weird bugs. I know you have to overload the charging to get the droids to explode. Do you have a save file that won't take you back too far? I usually overload the Droids before I turn the power on or whatever you do at the end. I can confirm I've killed the Twi'lek before and left successfully so I know that shouldn't be the issue!
I believe the Silver color crystal is available in the vanilla version of the game. I rarely come across it through. It is one of the cooler looking ones for sure! Sorry for the late reply, UA-cam notifications don't always ping me.

@@TheJabbles That is pretty weird. Only thing I can think of is reloading before finding the bodies and doing it again. If you found both bodies you should be set.
I don't think you do. And that always bummed me out cuz you get the option to tell what kind you had and what color. Then Atris shows you your old lightsaber and that's it lol nothing else about it. Would have been cool to get it and have it a nice little boost since you got your original lightsaber back.

You have to kill the 2 guards at the entrance when you enter the Refugee Sector. You can act tough and they will leave you alone but what you really want to do is just kill them on the spot. Then she is in the clear to run back to Lootra.
You get you first part on Citadel. You'll have to go to another planet to get the other 2 parts. Nar Shaddaa is the fastest. Check my other Kotor 2 vids. I have 2 going over to how to get it
One of the Rodian merchants on Nar Shaddaa will sell one. You may to complete a quest or a planet for them to for sure have it. Not 100% sure but I know they do sell one usually. Next best bet is the scavengers outside the Enclave on Dantooine. Other than that may have to just get lucky from random generation. You can try the Crystal Cave. Save before entering, loot all the crystal spots, if no silver crystal, reload and loot again.
I don't like Kaevee at all, she sticks out like a sore thumb. So I used the unoffical tslrcm tweak pack to remove her, annoyingly because she gives the saber now instead of Jorran. That's a lightsaber completely gone :/
What??!! I didn't know you could just remove parts of the game you didn't like lol Bravo though if you tweaked it and ran it successfully, that's crazy! But my friend you may have just solved a riddle for me. I could have swore Jorran gave you a saber. So if Kaevee gives it you instead of Jorran due to the mod that makes perfect sense. I load in and everyone is Atton I can’t make this up im so upset I just want to to play the game everything is going crazy im playing on Xbox one I haven’t even been able to get a lightsaber I’ve played this before this never happens
Sounds like a pretty fatal error. Although it would be comical to see everyone as Atton, it sounds like your game is not happy at all. With errors that severe, I would recommend deleting all save and fresh Uninstall and reinstall. Never heard of something that bad on Xbox

@@santinodiaz7922 I mean super odd bugs and issues are super common for this game. I have never played it on Xbox one though. I understand the frustration because playthroughs take A LOT of time, and it's all wasted if you can't progress. My honest recommendation would be get it for PC. The game is old and most potato computers and laptops can run it. Restored content fixes most issues so you can rest easy when playing. But if xbox is your only option a fresh restart and install may be best. Something definitely got corrupted in your files.

@@santinodiaz7922 I certainly do. There is the super easy way and the more technical way. Super easy way is just through Steam if you have the game through Steam. Go to the Steam Workshop page and click subscribe to the mod and it's that simple. If you intent to add more mods that aren't on Steam, it's better do download the mod from a modding site and install it manually. I have a video on both ways to do it. Check the Kotor 2 vids Playlist and you should see both.
Good eye! There are 2 of them I bounce between. One is just a simple retexture. The other one is also updated textures but a very different style on the ground and walls. Makes everything more red and Darkside looking. Both are up on the Steam workshop. I grabbed footage from a few different playthroughs so some shots might have one while another clip will have the other one.
It is definitely there. You may need to save right before and try to reload it. You get the Saber before you see the contents. If you haven't built your first Saber, you will receive one of the 3 parts

Super easy! Simply download the mod you want and add it into the correct folder in the games directory and that's it. Steam Workshop mods are just as easy too. Simply hit subscribe and your done. Steam mods don't get updated as often but the major mods usually work without a hitch!
@@lion4611 Yes I believe so. Kotor 1 mods will go in the Kotor 1 files and Kotor 2 mods should go in the Kotor 2 files. Google how to mod Kotor 2 real quick just to be sure. Should be tons of helpful forums. For Kotor 2 I know the mod folder is the "override" folder

Did you make sure to tamper with the will when you found the guy in the enclave? You also have to make sure not to turn in the bodies to the merchants outside of the enclave. If you turn the bodies over to them you can't turn them into Zherron.
@@shadowfyed7117 Did you check your inventory? Sometimes the game bugs out and gives it to you but doesn't tell you. Other than that perhaps reload an earlier save and try again. I know a lot of people run into this issue when raiding Voggas secret stash. The game experiences way too many bugs lol

@@pablos.7606 Not a problem! Happy to help if I can. So I suggest the same thing as with the other one. Do a reload of before and try again. I get constant comments about others not getting one there either. Seems to be a troubling spot in the game for many. One thing to note is that you don't actually get the saber from the container. You get it as you click on the container. So its possible it went into your inventory and you clicked past the prompt. That would be very weird though that both saber spots on Nar Shaddaa bugged out for you.
I always read horror stories of peoples games crashing after doing it so much. I have done it on the xbox long ago but I rather enjoy my Steam saves and am afraid to corrupt them lol! :)
I have personally never done it lol I don't like to risk corrupting my game. I know there is one or two videos up on UA-cam for doing it on the Original Xbox though.

I believe there is a third lightsaber on M4-78,When heading to the environmental zone, past the forcefield there is a sith body. If you loot it you get a lightsaber.

There's another lightsaber on Dantooine if you let Jorran out of the enclave sublevel, you talk to him later on and you can buy "Jedi artifacts" off him for 1000 credits. He gives you a lightsaber, color crystal and emitter/cell
You are correct but that is for vanilla version. I should have clarified in the video. Jorran gives it to you in vanilla, with TSLRCM its from the Padawan instead. They took it away from Jorran since they have the Padawan give it to you.

I am also a little forgiving knowing the studio had to rush the game to get it out. There are some UA-cam videos on the backstory of the making of the game and the restored content. Interesting stuff. Nostalgia probably does play a huge factor in me loving it so much. I am a Consular fan boy myself, but going the Guardian/WeaponsMaster route is another way I like to play.

Another spot on nar shaddaa, I need to test more to confirm it but after you do ALL the side quests for the refuge sector, including the mom and child separation, hussef should give you a part or full lightsaber. Again not 100% sure but I know I have gotten a saber from him a few times at least
Do comment and let me know if you confirm this. I have read several forums stating this same thing. Don't know if I read that all the side quests needed to be completed but I will also give it a whirl in my next playthrough. Haven't been able to trigger it myself.
@@CatDaddyGaming in vanilla I only had to wipe out the thugs (serrico?) And convince the exchange to grant more space and its a 100% lightsaber/ part location. Tested and confirmed on two save files over several days of play time. At least for me. Hope that might help.

To be fair, you don't need all those lightsabers, but this is a great video because I had no idea how to beat Nar shaddaa, I had no idea how to knock out the cat pounds or that you had to go into stealth mode because the game really doesn't tell you that and I've been playing this game for like 20 years!

Save before you get your lightsabers. Otherwise you might not get the type you want. They randomly spawn as Short Lightsaber, Lightsaber and Double Blade Lightsaber. Depending on what you want you could end up disapointed otherwise.
Couldn't agree more! I am playing the mobile version right now and had to do just this at Vogga's stash. Got 3 short sabers and a double bladed before I finally got a normal one like I wanted!
@@CatDaddyGaming I hate the double bladed ones, I have two so far plus two short and one normal. Think I will leave the Deciple with one double blade, but will replay the last one to get a normal blade. Maybe I will give one double blade to Visas.

Windows refused to work on role back, could not redownload windows 10. Now getting KOTOR 2 withdrawl symptoms.

@@CatDaddyGaming Bao Dur with a double bladed lightsaber makes me think of Exar Kun. He only used one arm to weild it unlike Darth Maul who used two hands. I always thought Bao Dur energy arm wouldn't work properly to weild anything in the hand so in my head cannon I think one handed shoto or no weapon.

Correction to the M4-78: It's only available for english version of TSLRCM (workshop version). Non english versions of the mod does not have integrated M4 so using standalone version of this mod may turn game unstable or into language problems like missing name of weapons or objects.
Ah! This I did not know. Thanks for pointing it out to me. I have never tried the non-English versions so that is some good information to know. Probably takes away from the experience if you have to get the English version but don't speak English. I know they have a Russian M4-78 on there but couldn't find any other languages.

M4-78 is Standalone. You can play TSLRCM without M4-78 but you can't play M4-78 without TSLRCM. Steam has a version that had them both combined. DeadlyStream might too but it isn't hard at all to install them separately.
Okay so another lightsaber part is on Dantooine in enclave sublevel. When you rescue Jorron(I think that's his name) from the locked door after the laigreks ambush him, rescue him and he gives you a part right in the enclave or at the settler camp. I play the vanilla version on the original Xbox, so no restored content mod for me :'( and I always seem to go Dantooine first just get my lightsaber quick. I will get the part from Jorron, the part from Zherron for the dead salvagers will, Bao Dur builds my lightsaber, I go to the crystal cave to get my damage crystals, then go back to the salvager camp and buy lightsaber parts from Daraala. She has so much lightsaber equipment. Color crystals m everything. By the Visas is waiting for me; I don't like fighting her w/ out a lightsaber cause you know ;) And by that point I usually leave Dantooine cause fighting Vrook is super hard early on like that. Plus I hate that old fucker so I like the idea of leaving him in his cage for a few months while run around on Nar Shadaa and the other planets.
Yes I think you are right. I could have swore he gave you a part. I remember back in the day playing on original Xbox and getting one. Now I play the Steam version and have the restored content mod on all the time. They may have patched that out in the mod as the last few playthroughs I have done I only get regular upgrade parts for my lightsaber. Not any of the 3 main pieces you need. Thanks for confirming this. I hadn't been able to get one the last 3 times talking to him so I didn't put it in there since it wasn't happening to me. Maybe it is only for vanilla versions of the game. I agree with you Vrook is an asshole though lol he always bust out the force heal right as you almost defeat him XD

Like you're real fond of the blaster deflection upgrades; I remember when I was really my cousin loved this game on Xbox and he was all about blast deflection and he would kill enemies without every using saber attacks, they'd all die from their own blaster bolts being deflected back at them. Yes, my most recent playthrough I am in now, I am just about to do my last planet. I am going darkside and I accidently sided with the Queen instead of Vaklu so I couldnt kill Kavar. So I am just about to run into him at the Jedi Enclave.
Those are some excellent ideas. I will have to look into doing that. That is one of the reasons I love deflection so much. They are half health from there own blaster fire by the time I get closed enough to attack them lol. I appreciate the suggestions. I may have to crank out a vid like that. Does anyone notice that the setting of Star Wars KOTOR 1 mirrors the Prequel Trilogy and Star Wars KOTOR 2 mirrors Original Trilogy:
KOTOR 1/Prequel Trilogy:
a) Galactic Republic is on war with the Sith Empire in the Jedi Civil War much like Galactic Republic is on war with Confederacy of Independent Systems in the Clone Wars.
b) Both have Jedi Order and work with the Republic.
KOTOR 2/Original Trilogy:
a) Galactic Republic was not that strong after Jedi Civil War (in dark side ending of KOTOR 1) while Galactic Republic was wiped out at the end of the Clone Wars.
b) Both of the Jedi Order are gone and surviving Jedis are in hiding.

@@CatDaddyGaming Since the KOTOR games are not recognise as canon, you can guarantee that if they ever do the Old Republic storyline, it will be a reboot in order to fit into the new canon. If there is ever a new KOTOR game, it will be from EA, not from Bioware or Obsidian.

You should be getting the lightsaber. I believe it is around the time the second ship of people looking for you shows up. It could be in another cannok. Trying 100%ing the map and killing every creature. Hope that does the trick.
On korriban, couldn’t you get the one sith master’s short lightsaber with the bronze color from the tomb?
If you are talking about Freedon Nadds lightsaber, you get that one from a tomb on Dxun.
At 2:47, if you tell Lootra that you'll help him but then go talk to him again and kill him instead, you'll still get the part and will not get LS/DS points.

You should get minimum 1 saber per planet, even in vanilla. Usually when you take care of the master on the planet.

The one that you find in the cage thing? Maybe reload before you entered if you are not too far progressed since then. Its usually there with the holopad from Master Vash. If your lightsaber hasn't been crafted it is possible you just got one of the 3 pieces.
I had around 3 sabers, and I randomly found a fourth and idk when so that might be it, I've seen that my game sometim doesn't tell me when I pick up something

I’ve been playing this game since its release and I have never received a lightsaber through most of the methods here.
If I’m lucky, I might have 7 lightsabers by the time I get to the ravager… but that’s including the ones dropped by the sith.
What platform you play on? These locations are all legit and tested. With the exception of M478, all these locations work for all versions of the game.

So like your overall "pool" of Force Points increases. I believe it is by a set amount but it could be a percentage. Not 100% sure.
You can actually get a lightsaber from the scavenger dude who is in the Jedi Enclave if you save them and pay credits, he’ll give you a artifacts and one of those artifact is a light saber
Very true. If you have the Restored Content Mod, Jorran won't give you the lightsaber anymore. It is now obtained from another person you meet in the Enclave that isn't in the Vanilla version.

I also found that if you talk to the refugee chief, I think his name is Hueseff but, if you talk to him after you get the refugees more space from the exchange by talking to the squid dude, he will give you a lightsaber. I was playing on base version not TSLRCM so I don't know if it works on there.
I have heard this many times from many people but have never done it myself. I am currently playing around with quests on Nar Shaddaa so I will have to test. It is possible it is a vanilla only thing

@@WingZX1103 Unfortunately, lightsabers awarded to you are usually random. There is a way to get one though using the good 'ol save and reload spam. So right before you get one, like maybe before turning in the tampered will to Zherron, just simply make a save file right before you talk to him. Talk to him and get the lightsaber. If he gives you a short lightsaber or a standard one, just reload the save you made and try again. Its random so you might have to give it a few goes but that should get you one. I usually do it when I get short lightsabers cuz I don't like those ones lol
CatDaddy Gaming ummm you actually can get a double bladed light saber to drop on duxun during the with temple run from any of the Sith Lords. I had it as a random drop today
@@WingZX1103 Yeah I think there are a few that are for sure decided for you. Now that you mention it, I think the Sith dudes in the temple always drop a red double bladed lightsaber. Right before you find the other dead sith dudes short lightsaber.

A few location are specific sabers but generally the sabers are randomly generated. If you keep getting the kind of sabers you don't want just use the save reload technique. Save before getting a lightsaber. If you get one you don't like, just reload the save from before and you can do this until you get the saber you are after.

Just come across them at the locations mentioned in the video. Save before you get the lightsaber and if you don't get the one you want, reload the save and try again.

Your Main Character crystal? You find that in the Crystal Cave on Dantooine. You just need your 3rd lightsaber part then. Head to any of these locations and the game will give you your final part. Once Bao Dur assembles your lightsaber for you these locations will start giving you full sabers.
Well, I don't if i gonna get an answer, but I'd like to know about your textures man. Are they the base textures or mods? I really don't know cuz I've used the steam workshop textures since I downloaded the game so I didn't get to know the default textures

You are not the first person I have heard this from. Usually the reload technique works, maybe try loading before you do the dancing for Vogga. However since the game is known for its bugs, guess it wouldn't be to far out that it didn't work for you this playthrough. I usually do the container on the left first. You get the saber as you open the container and not actually from inside the container. If you mash buttons on opening its possible you passed the item screen and it is still in your inventory. Hope you get it. I know every saber counts when you split up your team during the Onderon Invasion lol

The same happened to me. So I sent Bao-Dur to open the container and voila! a lightsaber!
I guess that being a guardian was not enough to open it, without breaking it. You need a tech guy.
For the part where you have to reunite the guy with his wife. If you tell him to move on can you still reunite him with her?
I don't think so. You have to reunite him or kill him to get the part.

You have to eliminate all the exchange thugs for her to leave. I can't remember if it is every single exchange thug in the refugee sector but you for sure need to kill the 2 thugs by the entrance when you first enter the area. It is a mod I got from Steam. There is one to make Bao Dur look that way, but there is also another one to make the main character look like Darth Maul. Let me know if you want the link for it and I'll drop it here for ya.

@@melancholiclonging8641 Unfortunately you will have to restart your game if you add the mod on part way through. The only mods you can add and remove at any time are reskins and retextures. Since the restoration mod changes story and quest files, you will run into a lot of issues trying to play previous saves without it.

I’ve only been able to find short lightsabers?
So lightsabers awarded or found are randomized. Save before obtaining the lightsaber, if you get a short Saber, reload save and obtain again.

I don't believe so. The only one you can "craft" is your very first one where you bring Bao Dur the 3 pieces. After that you find full already built lightsabers and can't craft them from found parts. You can only upgrade (or remove upgrades) on the workbench.

On Dantooine the Jedi Padawan wasn't there, only Jorrun or whatever his name was. Bought what he found and it wasn't a lightsaber. I have the most updated version of TSLRCM and M4-78. What did I do wrong?
Did you search the whole place? So when you first enter the Enclave. You can go left or right. But if you run around that circle and head straight, there are the empty rooms and you should run into the padawan there.

Also got a nifty influence increase from Kreia by leading the bug things to the door that Jorran is in and lying about the area being clear. She said I created an 'echo'.

Very much agreed. The short ones feel like they should be for the shorter species like Yoda or children padawan.
I know this is a one year old video, and you probably already know about this, but I thought I’d put the comment here just so that anyone else playing the game would know it. There is a light saber on Dantooine, or at least a light saber part, that you can get from Jorran from the Jedi enclave sub level if you rescue him.
I had thought that Jorran gave you a part but I wasn't 100% sure at the time since I hadn't gotten one from him but I figured out the catch. So vanilla version of the game he does give you a lightsaber part. The catch is if you have TSLRCM on. If you have TSLRCM installed, you get that part from Kaevee, the padawan in the Enclave. That's why I wasn't getting one from him during testing due to using the restored content. So yes you are absolutely correct unless you have restored content, then you just get it from someone else in the Enclave.

@@charlesbornemann714 i play on xbox so i've never used TSLRCM. ive never got a full saber from jorran, if you havent crafted one yet he gives you one of the parts you need but if you have he just gives random crystals or upgrade parts.

@GitchGamerx Yes, these lightsaber locations are the same for all versions. Only ones that won't be the same are M478 planet since only PC version has that planet.

I have heard of this happening before. You don't actually get it from the container. You get it as you click on the container, rather than in its contents. There are 3 scenarios which usually happen. 1 is you got the lightsaber and its in your inventory, you just didn't get the prompt. 2 is you didn't get it like stated. Trying loading a previous save and redoing the dance sequence. 3 is you didn't get the lightsaber and the game won't give you it to you even after reloading. I have seen this happen to quite a few users. A real bummer cuz you should get one from there. It will definitely suck not having that saber early on, but do another planet or 2 and you should have enough lightsabers for a full party of Jedi.

What is the best lightsaber crystals and parts combinations in your opinion?
Tough to say what the best would be. Most would probably argue whichever combo gives you maximum damage output. I, myself always go for blaster bolt deflection. I prefer to build it with the right amount of everything. Here is my favorite build, Superior Ion Energy Cell, Expert Deflection Emitter, Improved Beam Gem Lens, Hurikkane Crystal and Main Character Crystal. That is a nice mix of droid damage, blaster bolt deflection, a Keen upgrade, and damage boosting. On my channel I have a Lightsaber Upgrade Guide where I go through a few different build styles. But half the game I am Frankensteining together whatever I have lol
@@CatDaddyGaming While "Character Name" crystal is great, but it makes me don't want to use other crystals combination for the main character, so it is good and bad at the same time :))
They shouldn't make it an OP crystal, maybe some damage or defense bonus depends on alignment, but attribute bonus making it hard to toss away.

What is the best way to get a saber for two of my companions early on? I made Atton and Bao-Dur Jedi immediately after landing on Nar Shaddaa (the first planet I went to). Correct. You build your first one but all others after have to be found. You van build it in terms of upgrades and add ons, but you can't assemble one from scratch

So you need 3 lightsaber parts for him to craft the Saber. Lightsaber upgrade lens won't do the trick. You get the first part from finishing Citadel Station. The other 2 are acquired from any of these Lightsaber locations. If you don't have a Lightsaber, any of these locations that give you a Lightsaber will give you a part instead.
I only get crystals or upgrades from the cannok.
You sure got them all? Have you tried the save and reload trick before you loot it?

I believe you are referring to the two thug dudes when you enter the refugee sector. You can't miss them as they confront you right as you enter the area. Like it's impossible to get into the refugee sector without them confronting you.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a lightsaber on Dxun from killing Canocks, only from Mandalore. Maybe it's just a lightsaber upgrade part.

@@CatDaddyGaming yup. Got the final piece on Nar Shada (I triggered Visas while I was on Citadel station), went and completed Dantooine, then hit up Dxun.
@@CatDaddyGaming I think I figured it out. For other reasons I went back and restarted at my hard save just before leaving Telos, and when I got to Dxun, was careful about my quick saves. This time I went through killing Canocks in the correct area before talking to Kelborn or enlisting the neophyte mando on my zakegg hunt (never know what flags those 2 could trip), and the cannock that's near the point the 2nd of Tobin's scouts spawns at (the ones complaining about not having heard from 2 other scout groups) is the one with the lightsaber. I think taking Kelborn's quest before doing that gives you a chance that the scouts kill that cannock or the scout instance prevents it from spawning (who knows) or SOMETHING that prevents the lightsaber from being available to you.
So, for future reference: kill the Canocks on the Northwest side of the map to find the one with the component or saber before talking to Kelborn. I also made sure to get the task from the Mando mechanic fixing the relay dish, so I'm expected to clear out Canocks. Not sure if that's a necessary flag for saber spawn or not. I don't have a way to examine the code.

Some of the Sith do drop lightsabers. But this usually doesn't happen until way after you have crafted your lightsaber. You will have to find the 3 parts no matter what unless you cheat yourself a lightsaber. Best to get it done as fast as possible so you can have you saber for combat.

I sure did! One of my favorite mods. There is also a mod by the same creator so you can make your main character look like that!
Tryna find hyperdrive after that of the beginning of the level ... I defeated the giant Droid but I think made mistake killing the green guy who trapped himself
You talking about the military base on Telos? Giant Droid can really mess you up lol. You will overload some droids in a room near the end and on those droid remains is what your looking for. I don't think killing the Twi'lek down there does anything negative expect loses influence with Bao-Dur if you bring him along.

@@dannyrosabal9176 Oh no! This game and its weird bugs. I know you have to overload the charging to get the droids to explode. Do you have a save file that won't take you back too far? I usually overload the Droids before I turn the power on or whatever you do at the end. I can confirm I've killed the Twi'lek before and left successfully so I know that shouldn't be the issue!

Did you already hand the will over to the salvagers outside the Jedi Enclave? You can accidentally do that clicking through the dialogue lol

I don't think you do. And that always bummed me out cuz you get the option to tell what kind you had and what color. Then Atris shows you your old lightsaber and that's it lol nothing else about it. You have to kill the 2 guards at the entrance when you enter the Refugee Sector. You can act tough and they will leave you alone but what you really want to do is just kill them on the spot. Then she is in the clear to run back to Lootra.

You get you first part on Citadel. You'll have to go to another planet to get the other 2 parts. Nar Shaddaa is the fastest. Check my other Kotor 2 vids. I have 2 going over to how to get it

Wheres the silver crystal?
One of the Rodian merchants on Nar Shaddaa will sell one. You may to complete a quest or a planet for them to for sure have it. Not 100% sure but I know they do sell one usually. Next best bet is the scavengers outside the Enclave on Dantooine. Other than that may have to just get lucky from random generation. You can try the Crystal Cave. Save before entering, loot all the crystal spots, if no silver crystal, reload and loot again.
I don't like Kaevee at all, she sticks out like a sore thumb. So I used the unoffical tslrcm tweak pack to remove her, annoyingly because she gives the saber now instead of Jorran. That's a lightsaber completely gone :/
What??!! I didn't know you could just remove parts of the game you didn't like lol Bravo though if you tweaked it and ran it successfully, that's crazy! But my friend you may have just solved a riddle for me. I could have swore Jorran gave you a saber. So if Kaevee gives it you instead of Jorran due to the mod that makes perfect sense. Sounds like a pretty fatal error. Although it would be comical to see everyone as Atton, it sounds like your game is not happy at all. With errors that severe, I would recommend deleting all save and fresh Uninstall and reinstall. Never heard of something that bad on Xbox
@@CatDaddyGaming yeah man I’ve been playing kotor my whole life and nothing like this has ever happened…it’s really frustrating because I’ve put so much time into it and I am looking for that childhood escape and when this stuff happens it’s really upsetting but it’s also hard not to laugh at it…I didn’t receive not one lightsaber on nar shadar I already had a saber from korriban…something is definitely wrong because I go into the ebon hawk and I’m atton and It seems like everyone accept for hk is atton. I’m definitely gonna uninstall and reinstall it…I really appreciate your reply and videos…I’m just like damn why me I’m just tryna have some fun and learn more about what happened after kotor 1…do you know if this is at all common? @@santinodiaz7922 I mean super odd bugs and issues are super common for this game. I have never played it on Xbox one though. I understand the frustration because playthroughs take A LOT of time, and it's all wasted if you can't progress. My honest recommendation would be get it for PC. The game is old and most potato computers and laptops can run it. Restored content fixes most issues so you can rest easy when playing. But if xbox is your only option a fresh restart and install may be best. Something definitely got corrupted in your files.

@@santinodiaz7922 I certainly do. There is the super easy way and the more technical way. Super easy way is just through Steam if you have the game through Steam. Go to the Steam Workshop page and click subscribe to the mod and it's that simple. If you intent to add more mods that aren't on Steam, it's better do download the mod from a modding site and install it manually. I have a video on both ways to do it. Check the Kotor 2 vids Playlist and you should see both.
Korriban retexture?
Good eye! There are 2 of them I bounce between. One is just a simple retexture. The other one is also updated textures but a very different style on the ground and walls. Makes everything more red and Darkside looking. Both are up on the Steam workshop. I grabbed footage from a few different playthroughs so some shots might have one while another clip will have the other one.

It is definitely there. You may need to save right before and try to reload it. You get the Saber before you see the contents. If you haven't built your first Saber, you will receive one of the 3 parts
It seems to only work if you get bao dur to pick the lock rather than cut it open yourself with a vibrosword

If you have the restored content you get the Saber from the Padawan in the enclave. If you have vanilla version, Jorran gives it to you.

Retexture mod. I have about 2 or 3 of them that I'll swap through. Gives it a fresh feel and a reason to look around and explore.
Is it hard or easy to put and install mods in the game
Super easy! Simply download the mod you want and add it into the correct folder in the games directory and that's it. Steam Workshop mods are just as easy too. Simply hit subscribe and your done. Steam mods don't get updated as often but the major mods usually work without a hitch!
Sweet so I can put all Star Wars knights of the old republic mods in one folder and put the knights of the old republic 2 mods in another Folder right
@@lion4611 Yes I believe so. Kotor 1 mods will go in the Kotor 1 files and Kotor 2 mods should go in the Kotor 2 files. Google how to mod Kotor 2 real quick just to be sure. Should be tons of helpful forums. For Kotor 2 I know the mod folder is the "override" folder

Did you make sure to tamper with the will when you found the guy in the enclave? You also have to make sure not to turn in the bodies to the merchants outside of the enclave. If you turn the bodies over to them you can't turn them into Zherron.

@@shadowfyed7117 Did you check your inventory? Sometimes the game bugs out and gives it to you but doesn't tell you. Other than that perhaps reload an earlier save and try again. I know a lot of people run into this issue when raiding Voggas secret stash. The game experiences way too many bugs lol

@@pablos.7606 Not a problem! Happy to help if I can. So I suggest the same thing as with the other one. Do a reload of before and try again. I get constant comments about others not getting one there either. Seems to be a troubling spot in the game for many. One thing to note is that you don't actually get the saber from the container. You get it as you click on the container. So its possible it went into your inventory and you clicked past the prompt. That would be very weird though that both saber spots on Nar Shaddaa bugged out for you.

I always read horror stories of peoples games crashing after doing it so much. I have done it on the xbox long ago but I rather enjoy my Steam saves and am afraid to corrupt them lol! :)
