- During my trip to London of course I had to hit up the filming locations to Clive Barker's 1987 classic HELLRAISER. As of the posting of this video I believe this to be the most complete location video done for the film.

The studio was called the Production village. It was owned by my grandfather and his brothers company. I had my 10th birthday on one of the soundstages, while Hellraiser was being filmed there ! Great video I’m new to your channel but I’m glad I could add something .
Horror's Hallowed Grounds is hands down THE BEST channel for filming locations content. The inside movie knowledge and Sean's ever present wit, humor and intelligence are second to none!!! 🔥🎃🔥
I can't argue with you. ;-) Thanks.
Herve, Woo and Sean. Best in the buis!!!
Fr
Agreed and nice been needed something to watch nice
I feel like the others, ripped him off. Maybe I'm wrong, but Adam woo and the rest seem like poor imitations
The last location is just outside Paddington station and where the westway fly over is. where the Clash used to hangout as well in the 70s .
There are only a few horror movies that still give me the creeps. Texas Chainsaw, Carrie, and Hellraiser.
Excellent location video.
Sean, thank you so much for sharing this! Hellraiser is my favorite horror movie of all time🤘 I have shirts, art, blankets, pillow cases, Pinhead 18" figurine, and a celebrity photo op with all the cenobites and the man himself, Clive Barker😁 I hope to meet Julia, Kirsty's dad, and Ashley Laurence one day!
That was FANTASTIC, Sean!!! Over here we would refer to that guy you encountered at the last location as a "jobsworth."
This is awesome! I could totally see that fox just being part of the movie. Thanks for this! It's crazy to see how much changes over the years.
Brilliant! Shows that 100s have been completely wrong over the years stating brent cross as the location of the fire scene! What a find.
Yeah, I knew that was completely wrong almost immediately, so I was determined to find the correct location for this episode and clear up the mystery. 👍
@@PaulH. Good sleuthing! 🕵🏻♂️.
@@PaulH. Paul is the man!
Wow! Amazing job Sir Sean. Finding all of those locations must have taken some Sherlock Holmesian detective work. Brought back many memories, especially the house. We did film a little of the Cenobite scenes there when Kirsty was escaping. Brilliant work…thank you.
Great job! Love watching videos like this while enjoying a drink. CHEERS!
Jeez. Sean. This is amazing! One of my favourites being a Brit and seeing how London docks have changed. Amazing that you caught a lovely Fox on cam too.
Awesome as always Sean.
Very cool 😎 great Hellraiser cover...long live LEMMYYY!!!
My band The Heathens did that song and Burn by The Cure from The Crow for a movies cover album call It’s Only a Movie put out by HorrorHound Magazine. It’s available on vinyl or CD. They sell it on line or at the merch HH merch booth at any HH convention.
@@malfuncsean Awesome 👌 Sounds great, good sound!
Awesome HHG episode as always Sean.
Sean, thanks for all you do for us . Thanks 😊
Thanks for all the time you put into these videos Sean!!
Always great to see your videos
I walked that exact route down the docks at about 3am one night absolutely trollied after a KISS gig at the o2 arena, which you can see in the background. How i made it back to the hotel i'll never know, god bless iphones :) Sean, great as always brother!!!! \m/
Love this movie thanks for finding these locations & filming them for us.
Great job again!!
Amazing video ❤
"Hell" yes!!! Great video Sean 🤘
Sean thank you for the great history been a fan for 20 years
A brilliant video Sean. As someone who lived in London for 40+ years I found it fascinating. (I even lived opposite the final location near Paddington Station and the Wesyway flyover in a high rise block of flats and didn’t know that scene had been shot there!).
So awesome 👏. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels. Great locations.
I always look forward to your filming location videos. Some of the best and friggin entertaining 🤘🏻👍🏻

Awesome video mate. Really enjoyed this one.
Fun fact.... I've got two office chairs from the studio before it became a gym👍🏻👌😁
Appreciate all the research time and effort you put into Horror's Hallowed Grounds. Best horror location show there is.
You are welcome. The hardest part is traveling across the planet to do it.
Right on for the Buddy Rich shout out too. I was watching him yesterday
13:39 I used to live around the corner from the Hellraiser house! Good ol’ Dollis Hill Lane 😢
We had no idea what was going on at the time of filming & saw nothing. But when my Dad rented the movie a few years later…😳
Great, just watched hellraiser, perfect timing !
Bro you are the best at these videos!
Awesome how cool and Industrial London still was in the 80s.
Great video
Hey Sean thanks for all the time and hard work you put in for this vids. Soo cool! Horror Hallowed is 2nd to NONE. Can't wait to see American werewolf in London episode
Very soon...
@@malfuncsean 🤘
Another fantastic video! Grateful for all the time and effort you put into these. I hope to see you one of these days here in Nova Scotia if you ever get around to doing My Bloody Valentine (1981), Siege/Self Defence (1983) or something newer, like Hobo With a Shotgun.
I will absolutely do MBV some day.
This is awesome so nostalgic!!!!🎉
This is awesome ! I always figured the movie was filmed in England... even though it was supposed to be in New York...you spoke to Ashley Lawrence...? An old girlfriend of mine used to do her nails in the late '90's...I used to drive her crazy with questions about her when we were together because I was such a fan of the first 2 Hellraiser films ! 😀
Great videos love them
Best filming location of Hellraiser no doubt...thanks man!!
Thank you.
FKN AWESOME! Great job Sean! Lovin your channel..my brother Scott had nothing but Great things to say about you when i was with him filming for a couple days again!
He speaks highly of you as well.

this is awesome!!
New to the channel.. great video, liked and subscribed
Thank you!
LOVE Hellraiser
Great video Sean, love your location videos, they’re very thorough 👍
Hope you enjoyed your time over here in London
As for the mystery of the scene set in the Chinese restaurant, I listened to the Blu Ray commentary and on there Clive mentions it as an actual Chinese restaurant located in Hampstead, because the owner was late turning up to let him in for filming.
I strongly suspect it was the same ‘ZENW3’ location as in the previous scene with Julia. Only upstairs.
Thanks for great horror content im actually visiting some filming locations in October im thrilled and excited its so nostalgic #horror4life
This is why you the best at Locations but Scott on Tape did day you are a Perfectionist 🤘🏼
I don't exactly know what you're saying but Scott is my boy.
This was a great video! I'm over London way in October - gonna see if I can make the trip over to the house on the day I come home...Halloween! All gonna depend on public transport to the area though
Great video. That fox was trying to tell people Hellraiser was filmed there! And I find it funny that your reaction to the dirty (once) empty field was way bigger than the house. 😂 I get it though, you've been to the house before.
3:25 Hey Sean one thing I noticed about the room being bigger on camera is in the movie there was a lot more white saturation in the background, no booth and Glass dining tables instead of what they currently have there now. The combination of those elements lends a more open dynamic to the room also. Just my two cent.
AWESOME!!!!
Nice one. This is so typical London. Foxes everywhere wandering about for food when it's quiet. Warm and friendly people. Pissing it dahn wiv rain, mate. Bladdy 'ell.
Was just looking up these location while watching the movie the other day crazy 🤘🏻
Got kicked out a property last Sunday at the Amityville house even tho it’s up for sale in Salem Wisconsin 😂😂
i lived for several years in Kilburn about 8 miles away from Cricklewood and i can't believe I never thought to check out any of the locations!
Do it!
Ahhhh man! your so close to my house on the marina! Would of been so cool to have met you, hope your enjoying London 🤘🏾
Glad you mentioned Animals. I was always curious whether that was Battersea in the movie.
amazing,...my favorite horror movie ever...im from spain thank you for letting me go under those cranes
Jesus Wept 🔥🔥👹🔥🔥
Thanks for your Video Bro 👊
That was awesome
Thank you my friend I saw the film last night.Nothing like an American man reaching the English. No joke brother that's why irony got created. Thanks to you guys work.
That scene where Kirsty is walking along the docks is one of my favourite in cinema history..
the unmistakable dome of the O2 Arena across the river Thames there, every time i look at it, i always think Michael Jackson was just 2 weeks away from performing his comeback shows inside there when he died.
one of my fave movies!!
Only just been following you sean ,I follow scott on tape, and grimmlife, so glad I found your channel , I never known hellraiser was filmed in uk , I'm in uk and don't live many miles from we're Donald pleasant was born doctor lomas Halloween, I'm in Robin hood county, my good friend is also a Hollywood film star Samantha morton from walking dead , your channel is brilliant keep them coming brother stay safe out there mr b uk 👍 🇬🇧 Robin hood county
I've met Samantha before because I work with Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and other of her TWD cast mates including Cassady who played her daughter. I don't know Samantha personally though. Awesome actress. Glad you are enjoying the channel.
Brilliant yeah me and Samantha use to hang around together growing up , , Norman and Jeffrey, great actors, yeah Samantha as made few good films also stared with Tom cruise, minority report, but much appreciated brother for the message, you got a great channel , I've just watched the the evil dead location scared the hell out of me growing up ,😱 🤣 , thanks again sean stay safe out there brother mr b Robin hood county uk 🇬🇧 👍
Nice!
Hell yeah. Love this shit. Seeing that fox was awesome, beautiful animals, safe travels and stay Blessed Bro
Sean had such sights to show us 👍👑
Andy Robinson was at London film con a few years back..lovely guy.
First off I'm sad I didn't get to meet Mr Clark while he was here in the UK. 2ndly I assume american werewolf in london was covered during his adventure. 3rdly, I really hope some batman stuff was covered. Wayne Manor form 89 is just round the corner from me. I know most don't consider batman horror but I do. Giant man bat, crazy clown. Elements are they're.
Regardless, another great video and can't wait for the next!
No Batman but you'll be happy.
@@malfuncsean Mr Clark, you never dissapoint. I watch even when I don't know or care about the film you're doing locations for. Said it before, I bought the arrow release of Carrie for the location video.
Also, I've finally started catching up on the podcast. It's great! Thank you for all your work.
Thank you. @@dgambo1985
I think the original "Omen" & "The Final Conflict" have alot of cool uk locations i would love to see ( whenever you decide to come back here 😊 ) Top video as usual Sean, Thanks 🎉
@@cadencollins5171 I’ve done a few Omen locations already. I’ll eventually do a full video.
Awesome! I had a bbq with Doug Bradley back in 2009.
What a waste of good sausages
i need to watch the first three again..when i have the time.
Really enjoyed this and I love your determination 😂 sorry you had to run into jobsworth security in this country 😔
Cool! I was never aware that Hellraiser was filmed in London. Very disturbing movie for the time. I remember renting it for the VCR in like 1988 and thinking, what sick mind made this?
That is just awesome. As you're in the UK are you doing the Omen locations?
Hey buddy how you doing, hellraiser what a film its amazing how much things have changed since the 80s mind-boggling man uncle Frank come to daddy nightmare fuel 😂take care bud ❤
Hellraiser is in my top 3 horror films. Thank you so much for doing this! How is the pillar of souls doing by the way? ;)
It's doing well, thanks for asking.
I was wondering if someone already addressed the low frame rate of your recorded footage in the last videos, I first thought it's the app on my playstation 5, but it's on mobile phone too. It Feels like 15 frames or something, especially visible in slow panning shots.
Other than that, nice entertaining video as always. ❤
Everyone’s a critic….
@@charlesdarwin7288 huh?
Cool fox!
Julia & larry’s house must be huge, quite surprised how far back it goes,it didn’t look anything like that in the movie.
Ashley Laurence looks like she has not aged one day since the best year in the history of the world... 1987.
love the fox footage too so cute 🦊🦊🦊
The dachshund makes the intro something special.
