The only way they’ll feel confident and comfortable discussing those things is in an environment free of trolls and mean people. So if you’re a mean person or a troll, we are going to block you for life. Sadly, there are people in this world who enjoy being cruel, solely for the sake of being cruel, that’s not going to fly here.

I’ll say it again you made mistakes that landed you in prison but you rebuilt your life. I don’t see you as a ex con. I see you as a flawed person but someone who won’t stop trying to be better. That should be a goal that we all have. We’ve all made mistakes some bigger than others but the goal is learn from the mistakes and not do them again.

Sometimes I really want to trash Jeff but what holds me back is Reese’s attitude not to do so. I’ve been in relationships where the guy was controlling not anything like Jeff but this guy was only 18.
Life is too short to be in a relationship with somebody who tries to control you. Or tries to hurt you. Or doesn’t tell you the truth to me it seems simple easier said than done I guess.
@@TheLifeBoat that’s why I got out. But for me it got to be a semi stalking situation after we broke up.
My husband isn’t like that at all but I grew up with very overprotective parents because I was the vision impairment/blind child so they figured I’d just be living with them all my life. So red flags weren’t seen or were ignored because I was just very trusting and didn’t really have many boundaries. I had some but not a lot. I also grew up in a very religious household with a father who was a pastor so my boundaries were basically the 10 commandments. I wasn’t really taught that I had to come up with my own boundaries.
Then i moved into a friends home and her husband who was a pastor Raped me. Then my world changed and I developed trust issues. I went from trusting to easily to not wanting to trust anyone
