I'm in East Texas....most all 3/2's here or leases offer 25% 1st month .....not sure how I can make $$ after my split with the broker ???? Probably $2k/mo rent....maybe! Also seeing a lot just offering like $200-350 flat fee
@@KyleWBruck My point being there isn't enough meat on the bone per se....2000x.25= $500 then broker will take 20%......?? Far from the $2k/deal avg that Andy mentions. Unless I'm doing the numbers wrong somehow .....
I actually charge a $300 transaction fee to every tenant I work with. I do get half a month's rent commission though so it's a little bit different. For you. Something is better than nothing though, so if you're making absolutely nothing making 800 bucks would still be better than making zero

Well if you're signing the tenant to a agency contract they would pay it...
