Thank you Jamie for coming forward. There are many gay people that do not support hormone blockers, cross sex hormones and surgeries on children. Most of these children, like you mention, are mentally distressed, and others would just grow up to be gay. I am hoping and praying for a national ban on trans medicalization on children. I am a senior lesbian.
I am certain that I’m not alone in having the highest regard for your courage and strength in coming forward for it is clear your priorities are the overall health of those young people. It’s both those who have been let down by a broken system which is clearly biased but also those who will encounter it in the future with the hope that by you coming forward they will have better treatment and long term outcomes. I hope you will never have any regrets for telling the world the truth because those who will benefit are the young people and their families and there is no better reason than this. As for your waiting the extra time it seems it allowed you to see the long term outcomes of the mistreatment so in this case there seems to have been a great value in having waited so long. Having watched so many heartbreaking first hand accounts of people who have been let down by the system you have worked in, it seems a miracle that someone like you has had the courage to come forward and make the truth known. These unfortunate young people were let down by so called professionals who seem to have been more loyal to their political beliefs than the humans they were supposed to be helping. Thank you for caring more for the people and what is right. Bless you.

Thanks for interviewing her. It's a really concerning topic.
