06:35 how I edit my landscape photos
The boat house in print is perfect!
I discovered your channel yesterday. Your videos are fantastic, thank you. Subscribed.
Really clever. Very good help on the X-H2 If only I had enough time to learn the editing 'finesse'.... Maybe one day!
Had the great privilege to visit Snowdonia a couple years ago. It was cloudy and raining, but still epic! Got some great shots.
Its an awesome location 👍
It's always fun to see how other photographers work. Thank you for this video. Can use it to optimize my own flow 🙏
My pleasure! 🙏👍
Thank you for making these videos. I always learn something that helps me.
You are so welcome! 🙏🙏👍
Your videos are getting really good....please keep 'em coming!
Glad you like them! 😁👍🙏
That was a cracking video Ian, love both of the images, very dynamic and dramatic but still very realistic! Here’s a challenge for you, I know you used to be a joiner so it’s probably a piece of cake for you but how about sharing your framing procedure, I bet loads of followers would love to see that too, obviously you don’t have to but it would be very cool! Cheers 👏👍😀
Cheers buddy, that would make a great video, 👍👍
Great video Ian. Very useful. Always interesting to see other folks workflow. I am always surprised how dark images print compared to the screen image. Great tips. Cheers
Glad it was helpful! Steve 👍👍
Well done, Ian! I really enjoyed this video. Sound quality seems great to me, so no need to change anything is my 2 cents.
Good to hear! Tom, 👍👍👍
Amazing 👌
Thank you! Cheers! 🙏👍
Well done, Ian. Very comprehensive. Question for you: why do you not use LR Soft Print function and Print Tab for adjusting for prints?
Great information, I am planning to switch to the Fuji System from Canon, I have found people complain about LrC processing of Fuji RAW files, I notice you used DxO plugin then finished processing in LrC/Ps, any comments and advice on why you process the RAW files with DxO instead of straight in LrC is appreciated. Thanks in Advance.
Hi Ian, thanks for another great video! Not sure if I missed it, which printer do you use for these amazing prints?!
its the canon pro10s 👍
Ian absolutely great video, I've just moved back to Lightroom from Capture One due to the DxO plugin which is a game changer. When you print what paper do you use? Sorry if I missed you mentioning it, also is there a crop for landscape you typically gravitate towards? I'm struggling to decide what crop works best on Instagram as its not very friendly for wide pictures.
Cheers buddy, I usually gravitate to a 4x5 for my vertical shots but my horizontal image tend to be anywhere from 16x9 right up to 1x1 depending on the scene. The paper is foto speed platinum etching 285 👍👍
@@ian_worth thanks!
Thank you Ian for this great video! I have also the XH2 and since I use the DXO plugin I see fantastic results on my raw files
Ian, how long does it take to process a Fuji file on pure raw 2? I want to like it but it takes over 2 minutes on my m1 MacBook for an X-t5 image.
about 10 seconds with my pc 👍 I only do it on my best shots though, no point if its just bang average 👍😁
I know I’m probably just a grinch about reflections… but I like near-reflections more than perfect ones… the perfect reflection just makes for too much interpretation by my brain, and quickly just becomes “just another reflection”… I guess maybe that is the issue for me… reflection-photos can have really nice subjects, but the perfect reflection detracts from the subject, by making the eyes focus on the reflection instead
