    Great video! I watch loads of camera, photography, and editing videos and this is one of the best I've seen so far. I don't use lightroom so this was perfect for me. Great tip on adjusting the slider before brushing and then tweak it afterwards. Thanks!

    It’s like watching the magic happen in real time! I just caught your last video yesterday when the pup was sleeping, you said woooo and she opened her eyes and said, what am I missing! So had to go out and exercise the psycho out of her right away🤣🙈

    This was so relaxing, like painting with Bob Ross. Also made me aware of some things I never thought of like bringing up the darks for distant parts to make it realistic. I'll have to try that on my next edit.

    I was just looking at one of my recent photos which is bright in the foreground and dark in the background and couldn't come up with a good answer for how to fix it. I'll try again now that I've seen these tips.

      ​@@WilliamPatinoPhotographylooking at that photo again, the tonal difference between foreground and background is too high to fix. More importantly, it's a bad composition. The foreground does not connect with the background at all despite thinking it would be brilliant when itook the photo. Oh well, that happens sometimes but I have you video saved in my photo tips playlist and look guest's to using it. Thanks for the great tips.

    Thanks it's a good video! When you brighten up dark parts, don't you also get problems with noise? I often come across this problem, denoise may help a bit of course, just depends on how much you brighten up

      Thanks. Depends on the camera, iso and amount of shadow recovery you do. Definitely older camera models will struggle more, but anything made in the last 5 years will generally have a good enough dynamic range to reveal the details with minimal noise. That’s also why you want to come in with a file not too underexposed. Cheers :)

      My pleasure. MacBook is calibrated out of box. I’ve never calibrated any of mine.

    Thanks for the vid.
    I'm still using LR6 + an older version of AP with the last AP update being in 2018. Just to be clear, Camera Raw does everything LRC does as far the editing goes & minus the cataloging features, Y/N?
