Thanks for the video. I've been subscribed and learning a lot. I'm just getting into salmon fishing quite late at 56 but excited to learn. Where would you suggest a person out in on the columbia to fish? I'm hoping to at least get out and get some experience where fish might be. Thanks for any help
Quite a bit of river to fish depending whats close to you. Are you fishing from the bank or a boat? If from a boat and in the Portland area, Gleason boat ramp by the airport, Chinook Landing boat ramp, the channel down by Scappoose bay, up by the dam. I suggest doing a guided trip close to where you plan to fish, that should help. Jack and Brandon Glass are very well known around here and great guides. Watch all my videos and look at the backgrounds, there are some clues there. Also check some of the fishing forums for open seats. That's how I started before I got my boat.
