TAKE A RIDE ON A MINIATURE FREIGHT TRAIN ALONG AN EXTENSIVE 7¼" GAUGE RAILWAY.

The video was taken during a gathering of the 7¼" Gauge Society at Bedford Model Engineers Society's Summerfield Miniature Railway in September 2023. The wagons were all loose coupled which made for an interesting ride! The first scene is of the freight train starting off with a Southern Region S15 class 4-6-0 locomotive 'Greene King' which was built by a 7¼" Gauge Society member. It was awarded the 'best at the event' trophy. Later this went on passenger duties and was exchanged for a commercially produced 'Stafford' Class 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotive which is the one featured on the ride.
