Excellent video. Easy to follow instructions. Worked perfectly for my project. Thank you for sharing
Very cool! I like the look when it's been cut in half. The silver looks really sharp. Nice combination.
Thanks Sam
Nice one
Can you do this with a vacuum stabilization chamber instead of a pressure pot?
Not in my experiance. The resin starts to cavitate and set. And ends up with more bubbles.
cool thank you for sharing
Great video, it was very entertaining and informative.

Another great video, confused however to the purpose of pressurising? Can resin not be simply poured and left to set? Apologies if I've missed something or I seem ignorant 😉😉
Thanks for the comment Alan.
The reason I put it under pressure is to squeeze all the air bubbles that are in it and make them disappear. There are other methods like butting it in a vacuum chamber and remove the bubbles that way. I have noticed some voids in my earlier attempts with pine cones. So I will try a combination of vacuum first then pressure pot.
My pine cone floats to the top of the mold. Have you had this problem?
I have had wood float. Are the pine cones stabilised. The best option is to have a mould that the pine one is wedged in to. To prevent it moving.
What did u use to stabilize the pine cone before you started
I used Cactus Juice ua-cam.com/video/7jGWJNadEGQ/v-deo.html
