I came here looking for a speaker that is Superior to Treblab HD Max. IMO it is not the JBL Xtreme 3. If anything it is only marginally better. I actually have a friend that bought his (2) Treblab HD MAX off of Amazon on sale for $118.37 each on Sept 26th. I got a screen shot of Amazon site advertising that if anyone doesn't believe me. Trust and believe it was true. I waited til Oct 5th doing research and got mine when price jumped to $169. Dang it!! He bought two at that $119 price. 😳 So for those who say that the JBL is a better speaker, ask yourself is it honestly worth $231 more than the Treblab HD Max. For the same money plus $10 you could have had 3 of theTreblab HD Max or 2 at $169 price. Then you can play at least 2 in party mode. Keep in mind unless you are an audiophile, either will be fine. Save your extra $170+ and go to Amazon and buy the Treblab HD Max! It will not disappoint.
The Treblab is a rebranded speaker that you can purchase in Asia under the name W-King D3 pro way cheaper then the Treblab speaker and the other speaker is the Neocore A4.
Good observation, but remember the Treblab has 3 sound modes. I was playing it in Normal/Indoor. With that being said... $150 more for the JBL seems a bit much.
very charming review! I cant help but it seems i'd prefer Treblab: 1. price point. $150 is a lot! 2. sound quality seems fair , loud and bassy 3. design is similar but more of Treblab HD77 style (I have it and it's awesome!)
I loved my JBL Extreme 2, until the battery stopped charging after having it for 2 1/2 years. I don’t trust JBL products when it comes to longevity. Just not worth it, especially given how much it costs. 😡
I have a Charge 5 (the extreme 3's little brother) I find the biggest takeaway is lack of the aux port meaning I cant wire it to my phone or other device for playing games since using Bluetooth without at least aptx built in the latency is way to high however I know usb audio is possible on the device and with the ability to push firmware updates I know my chance is next to 0% but I just hope someone at JBL sees one of my comments and adds a Toggle in there app for audio over usb!

This Hd looks very similar to the UK company Neo core A4. Made in China still. The neo is 50w but with a sd micro card slot and cost between £65 to 100
I figure the round design is to add to durability..A round object dropped rolls and weight dispersed better than dropping a square style speaker...The square brings all the weight to one corner among dropping...think of the ancient pillars built 1000 years ago and still standing...round is strong ..Yet may rolls away..with all that Bass...lol

I have jbl charge 3. Does it pay off to buy extreme 3 or something else? Just want to listen with my friend outside on the beach or in hotel in corner. We want good tones bass and like 50 % volume. Not too much just for us.
Ok I am going to ask for anyone in the comments if they can suggest an extremely loud speaker? The issue I am dealing with is the speakers I have been looking at are way to big. I have been looking at Anker speakers and Walmart’s medium onn party speaker. It is for work and i work in a very loud environment and there are times my headphones are dead and I need to charge them. This will be a work only speaker and volume has been an issue for me.

Good review sir, personally I would still go with JBL because it sounded more clearer to me. But for bass the TreBlab sounded like it had more punch.

Treblab is same as boat stone 1500. It cost around 45 usd in india. Cheap but not bad.
