Stormbox Pro is an AMAZING speaker, been using it for three weeks, people say that you need to break in the speakers for better peformance. So I am still getting there. As it is now, it is crazy loud for indoors, literally I am below 50% sound most of the time to not disturb other people in the other rooms of my house. Outdoors it performs fantastic as well, taken it to the pool and beach and volume is up to 85% due to loudness. And believe this speaker gets really loud without distorting music even at 100%. Many reviewers get this wrong, by saying the speaker is at fault of sound distortion, but many times it relies on the quality and volume of the audio and how it has been recorded, not on the device that is playing it. I have compared it to the Bose revolve plus and to speakers from UE and JBL. BELIEVE ME, this sound better and louder is most case scenarios. ALTHOUGH, if you are a person that loves the "BOSE bass", then this speaker is not for you and the other brands do well enough in mimicking that specific bass sound. Yes it does compete with the "premium" priced portable speakers with price ranges from 300 to 500 and above. Overall this speaker is too much sound and quality for its price, the lack of app is a minus but if you just want something that is really loud, sounds amazing and is at low price. Then this speaker is a steal for everyone.
To my ears the Bose was all around better especially at higher volumes. It just seemed to shine more. In my opinion there is also a huge difference in the bass department. The Tribit is good for the price, but to me the Bose performed more effortlessly and displayed an overall richer sound.
Awesome vid! Please do more speaker reviews of speakers like this that aren't from JBL or Bose. I think you should do the Soundcore Motion Plus or the Soundcore Motion Boom soon. Edit: Love your new songs, but please bring back "Do You Want Some More" by JAM Studio- It's a classic!
Tribit is better value for money. But the bass is FAR more powerful on the Bose, listen to this comparison again with a pair of high quality headphones.

Hi there I’ve watched lots of videos on this stormbox pro and looking at the Bose resolve I know there’s a difference in price but if there was not a issue with price which would you pick? Bose sounds crispier but stormbox louder
I just send the Motion Boom back today. The default sound quality is terrible. You can tweak the sound quite nice with the EQ though. The dealbreaker for me were the mids and highs. No matter how you change the eq, you‘ll get „f“-sounds where „s“-sounds are supposed to be. Mids sound quite recessed but the bass is really nice. The upper bass sounds quite natural and the lower bass plays amazingly low. For modern pop and electro music, it‘s quite a good deal. However, if you are listening to stuff with instruments like Indie, Rock, Jazz or basically all songs focused on vocals, it‘s a no-go. Being smaller than the JBL Extreme, it‘s still a pain to carry around. If you are planning on taking it to the beach or park or something like this, the handle will always be in your way. I just wished that Soundcore would use a detachable shoulder strap or something like this. And honestly, I think that there is basically no reason for a speaker in this size (despite being way smaller than the Xtreme). Most people are better off with something like the Tribit Maxsound Plus, Beoplay A1 or a Denon Envaya Mini
Bose still sound better, I don’t agree with what you said that the Bose has worse highs, because it is much more balanced and separated compared to the Tribit’s highs which is peaked at about 4k to 5kHz. Also bass is much better on the Bose too, even at such high volume.
@ it could be the type of music that you listen, but after comparing them in real life, Bose sounds better to me. Tribit sounds too sharp for the type of song I play.
Ive had the bose for 2 years, truly amazing sound with any music. What i hate is the micro usb connection and if youbdint use it constantly the battery will drian in a couple of months
This little speaker packs a punch 40 watts of power plus 360 speaker plus it can be heard from far away distances. Looks like JBL a little bit jealous.
I just trialed this speaker as well and created a quick video (nothing as nice as yours), but I personally thought it was one of the worse performing speakers I've heard in a long time. This is coming from a Tribit super-fan of the Stormbox Mini. I simply cannot recommend it. Tribit must do some major tuning to the EQ before selling this to the masses.
Stormbox micro has deeper bass response than the pro....pro is quite a let down by tribit tbh...its all upper bass....they should retune it for deeper bass

do you use it every day? I bought 1 as soon as it came out and the charging system was damaged, I asked for the warranty, they sent me another one and after 1 month I have problems with the battery also like the first and then worse than the first one stopped being heard. they are crap
We need to find out the reliability of the battery used for these speaker. Tribit stormbox pro is using 2 x 21700 battery which give 5000mAh. 21700 FYI is designed for automotive EVs.

The Tribit is half the price of the Bose. I would like to hear a sound comparison between two Tribit's and the Bose for the same price. I guessing for most, the two speakers will fill check most of the boxes.
If we not talking price, bose wins this sound battle. Very clear sound with great deep bass. If u wanna get into price and other differences then it's on you. But revolve+ clearly sounds better
The Tribit sounded significantly better than I expected. While I wouldn't buy either speaker, as I truly dislike the semi-omnidirectional designs, IMO the Bose sounded like music was coming through a wet blanket, the Tribit was listenable.

For music lover best good sound not the price If we talk about money, we talk about budget, not sound quality.Bose is the winner for me. Even though the price is high now, it has come down, but the sound quality has remained the same!
Bose's full range driver actually does a pretty good job because it plays rather neutral and it goes as low as 38hz all the way up to 20khz with very minor dips and peaks. The difference in bass response could be easily heard in the 2nd and 3rd song where the Bose plays significantly deeper in the 2nd song and it also plays punchier in the 3rd. The impression that Tribit plays better highs could be attributed to the fact that its bass doesn't play as deep and as punchy as the Bose so the highs aren't being masked by the bass and thus they stand out more. In reality, the Bose could play just as good highs (or even better) as the Tribit because the Bose's frequency response could play all the way up to 20khz no problem.
The case is actually opposite for the micro speakers of both brands...tribit Stormbox Micro has way deeper than bose micro...if u play the tribit in a room with room mode of 50hz, u can hear 50hz in the song. But the bose micro plays only down to 80hz...so yeah

I love soundcore earvyds and headphones I own 4 different pair but what I've learned since starting my fave bt speaker search 8 months ago is that w king is doin some seriously special stuff..... soundcore is too but w king is unreal when ya figure in the price the build quality and the mean beautiful sound and power that they pack... with that in my opinion w king is on top of the bt speaker world at the moment!!! I think Tribit sounds better. You just prefered Bose astheir been around for years producibg good sound but higher price. I agree Bose has ethe sound quality but this comparison i prefer Tribit sounds better and louder and you can buy 3 of tribit for the price of 1 Bose unit.
When you do the sound comparison, there is next to no point of showing us this without a db meter and a eq band to show what frequencies are coming through. UA-cam compresses the sound and its hard to tell from a recording anyway. This should be a must for any reviewer looking to do a good comparison video.
For the price of the revolve plus u can get two storm box pro and playing it together will blow the bose out of the water

im person bose sounds very dark and lifeless but the mid bass is strong

Non-existent bass on Tribit, relatively speaking. Totally meaningless speaker. You can hear that the difference is HUGE compared to Bose.
