Yes, so true. The colors in the prolong NC are grey. Nc50 in the prolong is darker and looks more red in the bottle but on the face it turns grey. It's like MAC neutralized the NC colors to make it less golden. I wonder if NW gals have a difference in their color
I just purchased my first mac foundation and concealer; I chose the Prolong wear in Nc35. I never knew what the Nc meant until I ran across your video. Next time I will try the Studio fix

My skin isn't normally oily but I've been having to extra moisturizer my skin...and Mac powder on top of Maybelline fit me made my face Lilly I used the elf putty primer underneath.....also the Mac prep and prime was on top....didn't last my skin wasn't feeling so good after 5 hours ....

Generally speaking, viewers on utube get bored with too much talking and no actual application. We want to know what brush you used, what primer, so on and so forth. Just a suggestion, hope it helps. :)
That’s impossible that you’re getting a ashy undertone because prolong wear definitely have a deep yellow undertone if you’re getting the NC.. you must have accidentally gotten water mixed in it if you used a wet sponge because pro longwear DOES NOT give an ashy undertone or look ashy
What are the disadvantage of using a lighter shade recommended was nc40 but I like to be more fair I want nc 30 so what is going to be disadvantage? Can I mic studio fix and mineral sheer coverage please reply
