Looks like a solid reel! Ive been in the market for a musky reel for a while. Or a big swimbait reel. I like that quick bail button. Its a pretty neat concept. $99 aint bad at all
@@live2fishofficial I paired it with a Shimano Scimitar (9ft) heavy Moderate very budget setup as I don't target them alot but it works . Caught 4 king salmon and 2 muskys over the past year on it. I love it
I paid 64.00 shipped from Piscifun. Couldnt find a bad review on it. It will be my golfcourse tarpon and snook rod with a walmart special Penn 7 ft Med heavy rod.
There's teo versions on Amazon. The red one with a smaller gear ratio/fewer inches per crank compared to this one. All the redt of the specs are the same, i think? The red one is $40 cheaper though. Think the lower inches per crank is a deal killer? Good review
Thanks for the feedback! I always prefer a higher gear ratio. It’s easier to slow down a retrieve than it is to make up the difference reeling faster. I want to keep the fish pinned if they are swimming at you and to avoid giving them slack.
You don’t like toothy critters! You do know they’re related right? LOL. I’ll just throw yours when your arm gets tired. We need the lucky dude (I do know his name LOL) that rolls on the bank & charter to show us the juice.
@@live2fishofficial my kid will not enjoy it and I will not enjoy her whining LOL keep me in the schedule loop tho. 😂 she does need to learn to be my net “guy” tho

Don’t forget L2F15 gets you an additional 15% off!😉👍🎣
Great looking reel and should be fun to watch you land a big one. Hope the back is getting better and we see you back on the water soon. Cheers!
Thanks Larry! Still working on the back, but doing much better thank you!
Can't wait to see you get on to one! Sweet build.
Thanks!
Good luck Joe!! Nice looking setup man. Hopefully you’ll get into one this fall. 🙌
Thanks Joe! Need some chain mail shark handling gloves tho…😂🤣
@@live2fishofficial 😂😂
I have been looking for a budget reel to get me goin this looks great thanks.
You’re welcome! They have plenty of different retrieves and you can’t beat the price point.
I bought this reel last year and love it . I use it for musky and salmon.
Awesome! What rod did you pair it up with? Just curious on the size and action. Do you use the same setup for both musky and salmon?

@@randyclamhammer nice! I wish they’d have had the budget rod a bit longer, but the heavy sure casts well. Thanks for the input!
I just bought the 400 for one of my musky rods. It casts like a dream
@@steveravely6708 congrats! That’s a great reel and definitely brings it to another level. Worth every penny!
Ordered one used yer code thanks ima go w/ Diawa swim bait rod I believe it’s 8’ MH? Gonna run Diawa 50 or 65 lb braid.
Thanks! That sounds like an awesome build. Let me know how you like it once you start slinging them baits!
You’re gonna get that trophy soon ! I know you will.
I hope so, gotta get down there a bit south👍🎣

Excellent!👌
Just got married and Im sure my wife is readying the spray bottle to tell me "NO" at the thought of dipping into the gift funds for this haha
Hahahahahaha!
Well, congrats on the marriage and you can always ask Santa to bring you one!😉👍🎣
And that's why I'll never marry! No woman is going to tell me no for anything!

@@live2fishofficial very good point. Thanks
I need a good musky setup! I got bit by too many bugs at once tho lol so it’s gunna have to wait a bit
Hahahaha! I hear ya man, so easy to do! We still gotta set up a day to get together. 👍🎣
@@live2fishofficial yessir! I’ll come throw my Muskie lures on my medium heavy bass rod lol, just say when. I got all of next week off
Might make a good swimbait ride as well
No doubt!👍🎣
Would is pair good with a 8 foot rod I got the bass pro musky predator rod
That’s the same rod I picked up - pairs really well!👌
I must doing something wrong with my reel because I can't seem to cast it that far
What type of line are you using and what is the weight of the lures?
Bonjour, belle vidéo 👍le piscifun alijoz semble très bon, pourriez vous me dire le poids maximum d'un leurre qu'il peut lancer. Merci.
Thank you! It doesn’t really have a max rating, but I’m throwing several ounces without a problem.
Merci beaucoup, cordialement. Je vous souhaite une belle journée et soyez heureux à la pêche. 👍

The manual is the worst in the market.
