It's great to hear some manufacturers / designers are actually fans of review channels. I feel like they would be much more geared towards consumers and have a better idea of what people want.
I'm not trolling or attacking you in any way shape or form but review channels do not constitute a consensus that reflects consumer needs or wants , think of it as infomercial channels who bring products of questionable quality with a lot of bullpoopy marketing jargon to the eyeballs of a lot of people with the impression they are getting a prepackaged opinion on what they need to fix whatever life problems they have at the moment

I am appreciative of your efforts to demonstrate and try out every specialty pillow in existence, to save me from needlessly spending my limited income to try them out myself! This one sounds promising.✌️💖

I was a backer of the Kickstarter when it first came around. I am very picky on pillow quality, but I can say that this is, hands down, the best pillow I have ever used. I have been using it for several months now and it never disappoints. The only thing I did was take out the thinner layer in there but I would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a good pillow. I use medium insert by the way.
that's so awesome that he actually took your vids+ comments section on the making of the pillow! as someone with scoliosis, sleeping can be so uncomfortable and finding a pillow that will help me side and stomach sleep has been a challenge. you rock !
Note to pillow manufacturers: If your pillow requires using the bare surface with no pillowcase to get the benefits of your product, for many people that's a no-go. I don't sleep on bare pillows-- that's trashy, and after a while they start to stink. Many pillows claim to be washable, but the results of washing pillows with these fancy coatings and polymers is unpredictable at best.
Actually the cover is that first fluffy one. It is machine washable. But I will probably put it inside a zipper cover and a pillow case. Hopefully the cooling is not affected too bad.
Plus my face causes the outer case to begin to wear and pill in a matter of a few weeks due to scruffy face. This is annoying as I want to cooling feature but not damage the $200 pillow. This happened to my Purple Harmony. Had a cooling effect but unfortunately I put a pillow case on it so no longer feels cool but had to as my outer case was pilling.
Please do a bed sheet comparison. There's so many commercials for different ones these days. I'd probably go with whichever one you deem the best. You've been right about everything else. Thanks for these vids.
Everyone wants a good night's sleep! We normally have cotton sheets, but my mother got us bamboo sheets for Christmas. Living in a hot southern state, I have to say that the bamboo was a very cool feeling sheet. I'd love a comparison to other sheets on the market as I've seen others advertised as "cool". There are also cooling "devices" for the bed and I'd like to have them reviewed also. This would be great for the summer and then "warm" sheets and devices for winter!
I have bamboo sheets and I won’t use anything else. I then went and bought bamboo clothing. I love my bamboo socks…they handle sweat perfectly! It is cool in the summer, but it is warm in the winter. It is just the best fabric, and a good quality has a feel like water flowing over your skin. All the cotton t-shirts I used to wear as favorites now feel like like stiff sandpaper to me. I’m utterly in love with my bamboo fabric items, and the latest addition is bamboo towels. They are almost too silky feeling…I actually enjoy the scrubby feeling of cotton towels that dry on the line and have a little stiffness. I’m weird, lol.
I bought a sheet set from J C Penney called Home Expressions and they are so soft and comfortable and they keep me cool at night. I loved them so much I went back and got two more sets.
I'm always on the lookout for a good pillow that I love. I hate those hard foam pillows. I have purchased so many and give them away to family members. Still looking for the best one for myself. I like so many ppl have back issues. You cracked me up when you showed all the pillows that you have over the years. I still have one from Walmart from years ago that I absolutely love. Can't find a replacement for it. Happy Father's Day, James. 🤗🤗
I will say I have a lot of respect for companies that use reviews from the community and openly talk about it. I'm not looking for a pillow right now but Nuzzle will definitely be on my list when I look for one next.
Seems to me you need to start testing pillow case compatibility as well--or if their cover is some sort of magic, they need to start making pillow cases to complement the pillow.
Just what I was going to say. I use an ISOCool pillow that comes with a cover made from Outlast fabric, and it is probably the best “cool” pillow I’ve used; my head gets super hot at night, and fairly quickly. I find using one of my own pillow cases makes it less effective. Maybe all these cool pillow manufacturers need to consider making pillow cases out of Outlast fabric, which is a “cool” material. I have been able to wash the ISOCool cover it comes with, and the cooling factor has held up just fine. Some ISOCool users have mentioned in reviews that more recent models don’t seem to be as cooling.
Always a great review. We bought the purple pillow (not either of the ones you showed here, but you did review it) based on your review. We still love them. I think people miss out on a very inexpensive way to cool down a pillow - the cooling pillow case that comes with cooling sheets. Aside from the occasional slippery complaint, these work really well. I use cooling sheets in NM 3/4 of the year and they work, along side cooling blankets. I'm actually shocked you haven't reviewed these yet, living in NV with so much heat. I'll bet that pillow goes right back to its coverless effect with a cooling pillow case. Thanks again for a great review! Smiles and blessings...
My favorite pillow is still the coop pillow because you can adjust it to exactly what you want vs having to deal with inserts that might be too little, or too much
I've been on the hunt for my perfect pillow and currently am using a coop pillow. I've found the perfect amount of stuffing for me with this pillow but it all bunches up and moves around so much that it's never under my head when I wake up! Do you have this problem? How do I fix it?
The best pillows out there are from Z by Malouf. I have several from them, my favorites are the zoned charcoal bamboo and the zoned latex. I have recommended these pillows to so many friends and they all agree that they are the best pillows available. Even the pillow case they come with is so soft and feels amazing on your face. I'd love to see you review them!
I have yet to find a pillow that is perfect. I came to the conclusion that it is a bed to pillow ratio. It has to do with the softness or hardness of the bed and then match it with the pillow according to your sleep position. Very difficult task. Most of us just settle for the ...it's ok. I'm tired and have to go to sleep!
I think we need to address the elephant in the room. We need the answer to the question everyone is really asking: Of the pillow family reunion, which one would be the weapon of choice in a pillow fight? Some might say the Purple Pillow is the obvious answer due to it's weight advantage, but the problem there is that if you swing and miss, your recover time will be slow, leaving you vulnerable to an attack. The Pillow Cube seems like it would be effective for a projectile attack, but again, risky. The Sleepgram and Nuzzle might be the best overall pillow due to the ability to load up both inserts for a heavy blow, or two unzip and duel wield for maximum coverage.
It’s refreshing to see founders like the one for the nuzzle care so much about the consumers who buy their products. One reason why I would buy the nozzle over other competitors. Excited to see the long term review on this. Great work both James and nuzzle
Great video! Really cool the inventor actually knew who you were and has watched your channel. Hopefully like the Blend jet, they can even take the cons and improve this even more in the future. Keep up the great work James!

As my search for a great pillow continues, I appreciate another pillow review. I hope you don't get bored with it though. Haha. You've done so many, but it really is helpful! Love this channel.
I have the Sleepgram and love it. We always use pillow cases so I’d try the Nuzzle for my next pillow. I love having inserts because you should be able to find that happy medium with what you like.
Also, not related to this video at all, but you did a review a few weeks back for the Click and Carry and I decided to buy a set myself. They should arrive on Tuesday and I'm thrilled to try them out! I bought a large bag from Walmart to put other grocery bags in, but that one bag won't be enough to carry everything on all shopping trips, so now I'll have a Click and Carry to use :) And if I love it enough, which I'm certain I will, I'm giving a set to my mom as well, as while she doesn't live upstairs like me, she has a bit of a walk from her apartment to her car and I think the item could help. Or I saw cans of paint being carried with it and she does a lot of painting and crafts so it might help her with that. So, thank you for bringing the Click and Carry to my attention!
Great video! I can't sleep on my back because even though I am a little thin for my height and weight, I will still get apnea and keep waking up to gasp for air and not get restful sleep. I also have mild scoliosis so it's much more comfortable to sleep on my right side. Left side maybe 20%. Seems like a good pillow...
I have a Tempurpedic pillow that they don’t sell anymore. It’s a travel size, and it has different dips in it in each long edge to support your neck when sleeping on your side or your back. I have had it so long that they’ve sort of collapsed and aren’t very different anymore, though there is a subtle difference. But this thing is THE best pillow I’ve ever had, and it just does not wear out. My neck issues went away as soon as I started using it, and they’ve stayed gone. I wish they still made this, because I’d love to get another one! It fits in my luggage, and I take it everywhere. It’s not light - my BF calls it my “brick”, which given that it’s really rectangular and kind of squared off is fair - but it’s so worth it. The only issue (besides them no longer selling it), is that being made of the Tempurpedic foam, it is pretty warm. Mostly that’s fine for me, but if I lived in AZ or NM, especially without AC, I might want to look up a cooling pillowcase. Not that it matters to any of you here, though, since They don’t make it anymore … and you can’t have mine! LOL
Now we need someone to come out with a cooling pillow case to cover all these fancy pillows. Must be machine washable, preferably machine dryable, two sided for a variety of texture choices (or inside-out reversible), and come in a variety of colors to match your decor!
I got the purple pillow , thanks to your review. Best decision to purchase one , i appreciate you and your kids making my next pillow purchase easy . I sleep like a king every night
last 10 years have settled on the "My Pillow"...softer version..my sleep comfort is not broken..so won't be trying to fix it..good luck to those still shopping for the right one
I took a temp job to make some extra cast this past month, turns out its packing and shipping the nuzzle pillow. I think we are getting a free pillow at the end of it all. Looking forward to it.
Sorry to hear about lake Mead, I've been watching another channel (sin city outdoors) and there showing lost , broken down boats. Can't believe it's dropped that much and the finding of 2 skeleton remains
I'd like to see you do an update on this with different types of pillowcases. Satin, flannel, silk, high thread-count cotton, fleece, bamboo - see if that makes any difference in the cooling. I noticed you only tried the one pillowcase.
I'm a side sleeper, but rather thanay my head on the pillow, I sort of pinch it between my head and shoulder. Have had the same mypillow for 10+ years now.
This company scammed me and many others on Indiegogo, by charging us almost twice the amount for a pillow, never sending it, and not responding to us. Just take a look at all the comments with people pleading for their shipments. If the manufacturer is cheating their initial backers, perhaps they're also being unscrupulous about the product itself.
Were there instructions that say the pillow was intended to be used without a pillow case? I thought in the video it had the big tag on the outer shell. I think the manufacturer would assume most people would put on a pillow case that goes with the rest of the bedding. Also, I think the real test with heat dissipation between the Temperpedic and the new pillow would be more noticed when you have been on each pillow long enough for your body heat to be fully absorbed deeper into the pillow. I assume the new pillow would cool down much faster than the Temperpedic. 15 sec is barely enough time to get the pillow case warm. Those Temperpedic pillow and mattress materials do hold so much heat I don't really like them. Thanks for another awesome video!
As a stomach sleeper I love hearing about a pillow that feels like a folded towel lol. I may be ordering one. I currently just buy the $4 pillows from the store that have no filling 🤣
This does raise a great point about pillow cases. What's the point of designing pillows that disperse heat when the benefit is ruined with a pillow case? It would be nice if companies spent as much tike designing the pillows as they did the cases. Keeps customers coming back to you as well as now, you've provided more of their bedding needs in one place.
I saw commercials for this a few days ago and was expecting you'd get to this. I was curious about whether or not it was better than the Cooper pillow.
Hi from Arizona. I love your videos. Bought a number of things based on your reviews that have made me very happy. May have to buy the pillow never been able to find one that works for me yet. On another note have you ever reveiwed portable evaporated coolers like " Mighty Kool" that is supposed to be named for cars and vans?
Hey I LOVE all your reviews… I have purchased many items from your reviews (the ones we can get in Australia…) Can you please do a review on the Complete Sleeprrr Plus pillow if possible please? It’s an adjustable memory foam pillow that looks awesome but don’t know if it will be worth the cost as it’s $120 Australian dollars… Really appreciate all your reviews and opinions 😊 Keep up the great work and channel…
I bought one and while I liked it, it didn't wow me/ feel good enough as a side sleeper that I felt I got any real benefits or better sleep. I ended up giving it to my mom who is a back sleeper, and she loves it a lot! Obviously things like pillows can be very subjective, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
I’d like to suggest a pillow cover for you to review. It’s called the Splipssy pillow cover. It seems to be anti-aging, anti-wrinkles and all that good stuff. Can even regrow hair! I have no affiliation with that company. Just saw it on the news and it’s too pricey for me to try out!
I sleep on m stomach, and I want a very flat pillow. Pillows are hard to find that I like. On most pillows, I just flatten them out, and sleep on one end of the pillow so it stays flat.
I love the fact that you tested each layer it might have me interested in getting one my husband bought the my pillow and I ended up having to cut it open and get rid of some of The spongy fibers because my neck was up to high and very uncomfortable when I reduced it by a third it was Heck of a lot better
You should review the Pluto pillow. They were featured on Shark Tank this season. They did not get an investment. But they have a unique concept. You enter you height, weight, and material preference.
Glad I come across your video on this. I have been on the fence about getting one of these for the cooling effect but after watching your review, I think I'll pass. I don't sleep on a pilliow without a pillowcase and since the case seems to weaken the cooling, don't think I will be purchasing this one.
I sleep anyway my body tells me to, so I have many pillows to accommodate the need. So I guess it wouldn't be different from changing out the insides🤷♂️, so maybe this would be a good pillow... Would have to try it
My go to pillow for the last year has been the Purple Harmony pillow and I've got to say, it's my FAVORITE because the hyper-elastic polymer (purple grid) is inside the cover, and it's not the square shape like on the original pillow, or like on the Purple mattress (I sleep on the Purple 3 Hybrid). I'm curious how other pillows compare to the Purple Harmony, which is their top seller now.
I got the sleep number pillows I've bought about 3 I got the comfort fit plus with the 3 inserts, then I just bought the pillow where you make your own with outside fill/inside fill of different materials which is pretty nice as I was buying a Sleep number mattress haha
But what do you do with the left over pillow(s)? That would be a no from me, because then I would have two extra pillows with no purpose if I prefer one of them. Being able to adjust your pillow to your liking sounds great, but in reality it just looks really wasteful 🤔
Have you tried the Malouf Zoned Dough memory foam pillow? It’s such a different “dough” like feel and I LOVE mine. Now they have both “dough” and “active dough” versions i would love to see a comparison of the regular dough vs the newer active dough.
I wonder how it compares to the Bamboo pillow. I've been using it for a while now and it keeps it's shape and is really comfortable for side sleepers. But if I ever need to replace it I might have to check the Nuzzle out.

Now we need someone to come out with a cooling pillow case to cover all these fancy pillows. Must be machine washable, preferably machine dryable, two sided for a variety of texture choices (or inside-out reversible), and come in a variety of colors to match your decor!
The cube has one. I have 6 of them. And I just washed that cover liner today on one of mine.
Ironically, an ad for the pillow cube played for me right before your vid started
I have a Zeeq pillow. I was a backer for it on kickstarter, and I absolutely love it!
Nuzzle pillow now offers pillow cases made of the same phase change cooling material. Softer not like the quilted outer shell.
I'm not sure if your familiar with them but I think you should do a pillow tier list video
They make cooling sheets and pillow covers! Thank you for your reviews 😊
I'm still using my Coop home goods pillow. By far the best pillow I have ever tried and I have spent hundreds at a time looking for a good one.
As a stomach sleeper I love hearing about a pillow that feels like a folded towel lol. I may be ordering one. I currently just buy the $4 pillows from the store that have no filling 🤣
Good review. I use several different types of pillows. Some nights I need firmer and other softer.
I use 2 pillow to sleep and I think this would be a great topper pillow to use. I currently have the coops pillows and love them.
I stopped at "nasa used this" and now I think this 100% RETAINS HEAT... continue
I'm using the Purple Harmony Pillow. Best pillow ever! I tried out sooo many different pillows and can't recommend it enough.
*I don't use a Nuzzle, however I find an old shoe approximately 11.5 " does the job*
No one liked the cube?! I got 2 and fell so in love I bought 4 more. I have a cervical fusion and ehlers danlos and the cube is GOD
Most people don't have your health issues though.
I saw commercials for this a few days ago and was expecting you'd get to this. I was curious about whether or not it was better than the Cooper pillow.
I love my pillow cube pro.
I'm a back sleeper and I've been looking for a pillow! I think I'd really like the thin insert because I like really thin pillows.
Hey I LOVE all your reviews… I have purchased many items from your reviews (the ones we can get in Australia…)
Can you please do a review on the Complete Sleeprrr Plus pillow if possible please? It’s an adjustable memory foam pillow that looks awesome but don’t know if it will be worth the cost as it’s $120 Australian dollars… Really appreciate all your reviews and opinions 😊 Keep up the great work and channel…
I like my contoured bamboo pillow, used it for about 2 years and never going back
The Pilllow Family reunion. I see an 8 part Netflix drama in that.
Im still using the beauty rest pillow with the cooling material on the one said. As a stomach sleep it feels to be the best width.
what video editor do you use for your videos? Also your pretty great, I like seeing a lot of the products you review.
Excellent review. It is an ok price. I have it in my cart. Thank you!! 🙏🏼💖
I sleep on m stomach, and I want a very flat pillow. Pillows are hard to find that I like. On most pillows, I just flatten them out, and sleep on one end of the pillow so it stays flat.
I’m exactly the same
I love the fact that you tested each layer it might have me interested in getting one my husband bought the my pillow and I ended up having to cut it open and get rid of some of The spongy fibers because my neck was up to high and very uncomfortable when I reduced it by a third it was Heck of a lot better
My motto is "If I wake up, it's not comfortable enough"
Have you ever reviewed a buckwheat hull pillow? My boyfriend and I tried them a couple years ago and can’t go back!
I would be interested to know if using a silk or satin pillowcase (which is better for your hair and skin anyway) would retain the cooling technology.
I’ve purchased every pillow you’ve reviewed and more, easily my fav is the a purple Harmony.
Haven’t tried this one yet
Have you tried MyPillow?
@@cjsomething4995 yes,it was to soft for me

That has to be the goofiest name for a pillow
You should review the Pluto pillow. They were featured on Shark Tank this season. They did not get an investment. But they have a unique concept. You enter you height, weight, and material preference.
Now that's my kind of pillow!
Would have to try it
I'm a stomach sleeper & have never found a pillow thin enough. Maybe this is the one! I wish I could just buy one part.
I sleep like a hotdog on a grill roller at a gas station. Side , back, stomach randomly
It’s the same fill as the Squishmallow stuffed animals
Thanks. It seems way to soft /sinking to me. I like a firmer pillow. :)
I am curious as to the price comparison? That’s a pretty important part of a review no?
Try a satin pillowcase with the Nuzzle to feel the coolness.
Giza cotton for the win.
Never had the pillow, but love tempurpedic!
I need a pillow but it HAS TO BE FLAT. Even a little high gives me a headache. So I am excited to see a flat pillow
I know it’s crazy expensive but if you would consider doing an 8Sleep cover review that would be amazing. No review that I trust more than yours.
I feel like I have seen this but, then again, I have probably seen them all.
There are "cooling" pillowcases out on the market. I wonder if that could neutralize the problem of using one? Maybe even enhance it?
