This is part 1 out of 3 of my series where I comprehensibly explain all of Geometry Dash level editor's new functions and options added in the 2.2 update. The list is massive and I had to split the video into 3 parts to not take too long with the initially planned one part video. At 13:05, regarding the visual part of the particle editor that you were unsure about, the "A" in "start_A" and "end_A" stand for "start alpha" and "end alpha" respectively.
In this context, "alpha" refers to the opacity of the particles generated by the particle editor.
The term "alpha" is used instead of "opacity" because the alpha trigger from version 2.1 is the one that changes the opacity.
