American JUNIOR antique lathe, we bought it at a mechanical workshop in Vietnam. This American JUNIOR lathe was manufactured in 1920, so far this lathe is more than 100 years old. the machine has completely rusted and many things are not done but we still buy this lathe to restore.I hope you find something useful from this video!

No, this lathe is from wartime in Vietnam sorry to say unless you have the information to show me it is a hundred years old. I would say this lathe is from around 1960-65. You cleaned it and painted it but there appears to be a lot of looseness in some of the housing-bearing locations. Also, the feed gear change lever was not fixed. Maybe I jump the gun here but that needs to be on the top priority list to fix. Also, you are lucky the gear teeth are good. I think this lathe with a bit of love will be a good machine to use.

simple paintjob is not restotoration. instrument after restoration must work within original specification. must have original looks.. labels,signs,colors,..

All he did was paint the damn thing. broken range selector lever reinstalled, when your done you will have a worn out broken pretty green lathe

Очередной горе "рестовратор". Мисье, то, чем вы занимаетесь, называется не реставрация, а приведение в порядок внешнего вида, и то, под вопросом... На кой черт красить ручки и штурвалы? Выглядит не очень. Это во первых, во вторых, под реставрацией подобного токарного станка подразумевается ремонт, а точнее, изготовление и замена бронзовых втулок как минимум, про шлифовку или шабрение станины я вообще молчу. И потом, внутри фартука нельзя было нормально грязь удалить? Половину очистили, половина осталась там.
