Great report, Rod! Florence looks like an awesome place to visit--very different from the crowded commercial same-old-same-old of Seaside, Cannon Beach, Lincoln City, Newport--and very worth the extra half-hour to hour drive from Portland. (Maybe that's why I live here!) Come on down and experience it all.
