Thanks for the save, after the lift in my 2004 Element, brought it to 3 garages and after $1,00, I should them this clip which wasn't mentioned at time of the 3" front lift and 1 1/2" rear lift!!! Still barely noticeable but I'm glad I got my vehicle back after 3 months!!!
ARMY GREEN - Dude I just purchased my son an 03 Element and lifted with some tires and had the axle vibration just as you explained! Simple trip to hardware store 4 washers for each bolt for mounts and my problem is solved! It also only took me an hour as you said. Thanks for a great video!
Thanks! I'm considering lifting my Element and I never would have thought of this. My guess on the how long you were stuck in the tunnel is 59 minutes. ARMY GREEN!
Thanks so much I been dealing with this problem for about a two years since I purchased my 2003 Honda crv love it to death I started building it to my taste started it had axles wobble I was told by many tech's I'm kinda new at with fwd so lm not afraid to ask questions I change axles to o'Reilly's and added 2in lift still wobble I was told o'Reilly bad choice then went to oem axles still wobbling I've spent time and money trying to solve this problem I think you just convinced me what I need to do I'm taking your idea with the washers I seen the price on some of those kits I'm pretty good at modifying I was really thinking to remove them I'll be staying touch with your videos thanks so much appreciated!!!
I have an 03 element restoring the complete suspension now. Been a mechanic and am now retired. II would love to model this for the thousands of us Element lovers which I am a part of. I belong to many groups which I give advice to and try to help as best I can on-line.
Thank you so much for this! I've been pondering if I should try to get my E lifted and worried about this specific issue people have talked about. I'm going to guess one hour and two minutes is your time in the tunnel. Great outtakes and Army Green!
So Here's Some Crazy shit... I just bought a Element Yesterday.. today Your in my Recommend feed !!! Thanks for Stalking me Google !! I'm In !! Be ordering a kit within a month !!
Anybody chasing the phantom "thump" or light vibration under low speed acceleration in a 2nd gen, it's likely the "floor pan damper". It's a solid piece of rubber framed in steel with 2 bolts holding it against the driver's floorpan. If your's is how mine was, it's essentially a chunk of steel hanging by threads of rubber clunking back and forth right under the firewall (right above the inner axles...). They're discontinued so you'll have to live with a bit more cabin vibration (it's job is to absorb light rattling in the floorpan), or you can try and re-cast the bushing.
Bro , I enjoy all your videos “ ARMY GREEN.....!” I just got a 99 CRV and I will be buying one of your lift kits soon . Need to replace clutch and cv shaft first.
Liked and subscribed! Just bought a 3" lifted (the guy said it was a "Honda Rescue" lift?) CRV for my son (1997) and this is EXACLTY what's happening with his CRV (wobble!)...I just need someone who can do this for me now!! (I'm definitely not mechanically inclined!) ;-) ...ARMY GREEN! :-)
My favorite color “Army Green”. New subscriber today from St.Louis Co. Mo. Enjoy your UA-cam’s. I only have 8 Honda’s, cars, motorcycles & lawnmowers. All manual transmissions.. Thanks 😊
I wrote a comment about vibration on the 3 inch lift video and then saw this one😅 I did do the 2inch lift but I feel the vibration when acceleration, in this video you mention the spacers for the motor mount and transmission but on your website their is only spacers for motor (2006 honda crv) DO I NEED TO PURCHASE 2 sets of spacers?
Great video, but I'm confused as to why you don't have to modify (lower) the front and rear mounts in addition to the left and right ones you cover in this video?
So you were just driving a slow Element huh? Wait is there such a thing as a fast or even a little faster Element? I genuinely would like to know because ours is 0-60 in 11 minutes 😂with the bigger tires and lift. Anyone know if there is a turbo diesel option?
Ben, thanks for the great content! Your explanation is always precise and accurate. I have done 1.5 lift for 2002 crv, and there was wobble and vibration after installing 235/75/15 AT tires. But interestingly, after 1st offroading it is gone. Do you recommend to have engine and subframe drop even with 1.5 in hrg spacer lift? Also, if I install engine and subframe drop, does it result in 3inch lift all together with 1.5 spacer on strut?
Hi I have a 2nd gen with 40mm on the front and 50mm. I bort your engine subframe drop kit, it has helped a lot with wobble and cv angle but I still need some more due to drive cv boots rubbing could I use washers with your kit 👍👍
How do you deal with the extra load/tension on the other mounts when the other left and right get dropped? Put in a 1" motor drop and it was a bit of a stretch to jostle it in and now I've got nasty idle vibrations but the axle vibrations are smooth when driving.
Hey I have a 99 CRV that I just bought for cheap. Problem is that the car will not shift out 2nd gear I believe. And will rev super high and when I come to a complete stop the RPMs will drop and sometimes stall out. I notice the loss of power at 25 MPH.. and will regain power over 4k RPMs Also this thing is lifted a bit and I wonder if that could cause complications.
im going in with my 2004 i will follow your step !!! i let you once im finish , im replacing a lot of stuff including complete suspsension any suggestion !
Hello HRG, appreciate your videos. I am struggeling with axle shake ( at 20 mph and at 65mph),, this started after I lifted my Honda CRv gen1 about 2.5 inches. I have tried different kind of axles and ended up with NAPA axles but the vibration is still there. After watching this video I went on and lowered my engine about little over 1/4 inches using washers. I added washers between the engine mounts and the engine and also between the engine torque mounts and the frame. I am sure I didn't do it correctly because not only the shaking is still there but also the steering wheel seems to be slightly shifted! Is there a video out there showing how to do this correctly? thank you
would this work on a 97-2001 crv with a 1" lift ? i have a vibration under acceleration, i replaced all motor mounts and axles it helped but did solve the issue.
This video helped me a lot! I installed the basic engine drop kit on my 04 CRV and now when I'm idling my cabin vibrates a lot. Did you run into this issue? if you did how did you solve it?
You could've used the deep socket for the engine mount without issues! Just try not to seat it all the way both on the ratchet and on the nut... That's what I do.
I have built a 99 crv and I done the 3 in lift in rear and 1.5 in front and I put on 2 in spacers but still have rub because I am running 17 in lt 255/75/17 Baja tires so is there anything u can offer in order to get me more Clarence?
Kenneth Cooper Hey guys quick question, I just bought my second Civic Wagon this past Sunday and it came with blue interior and blue vinyl seats. I cant seem to find any other pics of interior like mine, is it rare? Only asking because I want to change it to black so was contemplating about how I should go about that. Thanks!
Changing the color of the interior is definitely possible but also not very easy. At least not to do it properly. You will have to get your seats reupholstered, and dye most everything else. You may be able to order a black carpet set from Auto Custom Carpets. If you do decide to dye the vinyl and paint the plastic, be sure everything is really clean and degreased. When we painted the dash in the war wagon, we disassembled it entirely and painted every piece individually. We used real paint, not rattle can. It has stood up perfectly for over 3 years now. Good luck!
Another great video! I would guess 47 minutes and 25 seconds

1 hour 7min and 33sec. Army Green!! Can’t wait to instal this lift kit on my 05 CRV!!! Woo!
Army Green! Idk why I’m just discovering you guys had a UA-cam channel. Thanks for answering all my dumb questions anyway. Y’all are the best! ❤️
Just watched that video yesterday! It said “after an hour of being stuck.” So I’ll guess 1hour and 2 minutes. 👍👍
And forgot, ARMY GREEN!!!
Thank you so much for this! I've been pondering if I should try to get my E lifted and worried about this specific issue people have talked about. I'm going to guess one hour and two minutes is your time in the tunnel. Great outtakes and Army Green!
Army Green all the way good to see someone doing the right stuff for the CR-V's
Army green brother! 😂 🤔 Seemed like treasurable hours haha
Army green. Thanks for the help, 3 service units were stumped on the lift kit help
This is why I brought my lift spacer from him honest and helpful
Great video, tunnel time that I would estimate is 2h26m. Army Green. Keep up the great videos
So Here's Some Crazy shit... I just bought a Element Yesterday.. today Your in my Recommend feed !!! Thanks for Stalking me Google !! I'm In !! Be ordering a kit within a month !!

From the thumbnail I thought you were launching this thing off a jump lol
It is blatant clickbait. but a thumbnail of my face would definitely steer people away!
Army green is actually my favorite green
Army green! Hoping to resolve a slight wobble in my 99 CR-V.
You seem like a great guy. My guess is 1 hour 37 minutes
to avoid having to cut the stud at the motor mount I just used a crow's foot on an extension.
I would like to get the lift kit for a 05 crv .. awesome job guys
My guess is army green and 1 hour 10 minutes.. I remember you saying after an hour in the video of the gambler
Army green I'm lifted my 2008 crv will be calling for the rear subfram spacer💪 1 hour 28 minutes
I got vibrating on acceleration from stop till 19mph new mounts new axles , 1inch spacer lift 😩🤦🏽♂️
My guess is 3 hours, yo. Army Green!

Hey so I bought the HRG lift kit I didn’t buy the sub frame kit I’m wondering if I install my kit will I get the death wobble
Heyyyy! When are you getting these back in stock?
How do you deal with the extra load/tension on the other mounts when the other left and right get dropped? Put in a 1" motor drop and it was a bit of a stretch to jostle it in and now I've got nasty idle vibrations but the axle vibrations are smooth when driving.
Were you able to resolve this issue? I'm getting the same thing after I installed my engine drop kit.
did you do the subframe drop as well?
Hey I have a 99 CRV that I just bought for cheap. Problem is that the car will not shift out 2nd gear I believe. And will rev super high and when I come to a complete stop the RPMs will drop and sometimes stall out. I notice the loss of power at 25 MPH.. and will regain power over 4k RPMs

I having that issue with my rd1 98 Crv and it vibrate horrible 😣 after I lift it up 2.5 inches rear and 1.5 inches front
would this work on a 97-2001 crv with a 1" lift ? i have a vibration under acceleration, i replaced all motor mounts and axles it helped but did solve the issue.
Where can i buy the sub fram drop? And how much do it cost?
Army green! I'm guessing 1 hour 20 minutes.
Does the Ridgeline subframe kit also work for pilots?
Is it same Honda pilot 2015?
This video helped me a lot! I installed the basic engine drop kit on my 04 CRV and now when I'm idling my cabin vibrates a lot. Did you run into this issue? if you did how did you solve it?
Wish me luck i know this is an old video but I just purchased the 3" kit for my 04 crv so thats on my to do list
Army green👍🏻. 5hours 24mins.
Can I just put washers on left and right lower mounts?
You could've used the deep socket for the engine mount without issues! Just try not to seat it all the way both on the ratchet and on the nut... That's what I do.
Zone B I tried that. Couldn’t get enough of it on there to grab.
@@hrg_tvThat's strange... maybe your socket is 1 or 2 mils shorter hahaha.
Army Green! 33minutes in the tunnel
Did you do it on every mount or just the side that was giving you issues?
Hey what battery is that?
1" lift spacers, no wobble. New front axles, no wobble. New struts, wobble! Subframe lowering spacers installed, wobble got worse. 😭
My crv has a 3inch lift on 31s and has axle bind while turning would a subframe drop help
ARMY GREEN ! After an Hour in the tunnel
My Honda CR-V just did the 2inch lift and it swerves left in right when I’m on freeway and I’m driving like 70 miles and hours what could it be
Army green! My guess is 3 hrs 12 mins
How much for the whole kit and spacer for sub frame for Honda CR-V 2004
Check out www.hrgengineering.com/2002-2006

army green, great content
I have built a 99 crv and I done the 3 in lift in rear and 1.5 in front and I put on 2 in spacers but still have rub because I am running 17 in lt 255/75/17 Baja tires so is there anything u can offer in order to get me more Clarence?
You are freaking awesome dude!
True engineer!!!!
What's the difference between washers and spacers?
The same difference between lawyers and liars.
The cost. . .
My guess is 1 hr 38 minutes! Army green!
