- Cult of the Lamb: Unholy Alliance is coming to Nintendo Switch on August 12th!
Heretics never rest, and the Lamb is in need of an ally. Unholy Alliance introduces a new playable character to Cult of the Lamb: the Goat! Crusade through dungeons, slay heretics, build your cult, and seek new powers together. As well as the addition of co-op play, the Unholy Alliance expansion also adds new tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, follower traits, follower quests, and other secrets to discover!

Feel free to ignore this comment! I'm an animal nerd, so I had to info-dump about my sheep knowledge cause animals are neat okay-
On a technical level, The Lamb would actually be The Ram because Rams are a type of wild Sheep, which are the most common type of sheep with horns (since us humans decided to breed the horn trait out of our domestic sheeps). And a lamb would be too young to have grown their horns yet (that's another question,, why is the lamb called the lamb when he's clearly older than a lamb- /Lh /jk). Either way, the point is, Goatses are goatses, and Rams are sheeps!

It has for sure been one. Hopefully they'll allow for more clones as more co-op partners, though I also hope we will get stuff in reaction to this character, or at least animations of them summoning like the player, but..I do wonder what this means for the lore

I think it's an imperfect clone of sorts, since the way it's summoned in the trailer looks to replicate similar mirror water source, like the Mirror Pond from MLP and such

If they get this to work without many issues, online co-op may not be so far-fetched.

"Local Co-op" NO WHY I WANT TO PLAY IT WITH MY LONG DISTANCE GF DAMNIT
I mean...there are ways to trick the game into thinking you're local, just will require a few extra steps.

FREE UPDATE That adds Local Coop
It's a free update that adds local co-op, and you can play the entire campaign co-op, as well as go through the game as the Goat single player style (as per a developer/mod comment on the official post for this update on the COTL reddit sub)
I hope you get to pick which you play as, so ether or can be player 1 or 2, or you can switch during single player.
hopefully this opens the door to online co-op!! would love to be able to play with my friends when we're apart
I hope so too. Until then, maybe you can find a method for you and your bud to play local co-op online, with things like Steam Remote Play or Parsec. (Don't recommend those specifically, just don't know any other specific ones.)
It need two nintendos or young Kan play on two joysticks?

Try Parsec for that, works good most of the time assuming both you and your bud's internet aren't crap
If you have a PC, you can use Parsec
Local co-op can be played online via a variety of methods

Literally every scenario and every trailer we've seen most of them the lamb is in mortal danger doesn't make sense but okay. Also how many other cultists still exist that aren't the lambs seems like there's a lot.
