Everyday Cosplay - Making LEATHER CUFFS Inspired by Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon

In my everyday cosplay series I take inspiration from costumes in my favorite movies and shows to design & make leather accessories for everyday wear. In this episode I'm taking inspiration from Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon. I fell in love with Rhaenyra's dragon rider jacket the second I saw it. I LOVE the scales textures. So I designed TWO styles of dragon scale cuffs, plus a choker and pendants. Scales are an amazing way to use up small leather scraps.
I'll walk you through how I made my leather cuffs providing tips and tricks along the way.

I used double capped rivets from Tandy Leather in size extra small. Double capped are smooth on the inside which will be nicer against your skin. You can use any brand but it's very important to choose your rivet size based on the thickness of the leather YOU are using.
