I'm glad to see that some of the old tapes survived. The old school may not have been as acrobatic, but it was far more entertaining.
Classic Bobby Heenan, entertaining the crowd as only he could. What a treasure he was.
I watched all these guys with my Dad in this era of wrestling. I was maybe 12 to 14 years old. He took me to see them live a couple of times. Great times. I miss you Dad.
Wrestling is one of the great things that brings families and all different generations together. I grew up watching with my Grandparents.
Early 70's, Heenan in his prime, taking crazy bumps. Too bad WWF fans never got to see him like this.
He took a number of bumps, and I got to see him and Ultimate Warrior in a weasel suit match but yes, with his neck he didn't take as many bumps but saved the best for Primetime with Gorilla, especially since they went to Old Tucson Studios
No one could put on a show like da one, da only, da Crusher! Rest in peace, Reginald Lisowski. You entertained millions!
I have been watching wrestling for over 50 years and the failed dropkick right before the 4 minute mark was the single best thing I ever saw.
After da match da Crusher went to da sloon and danced the polka wit da dollies.
Crusher trained on beer and polish sausage , my kind of training
You forgot mashed potatoes.
Great stuff right here. This is when wrestling was fun & action packed
What a finish. Original.
Heenan bumping like a pinball in there!
Bobby Heenan with a drop kick! Pretty neat dropkick too, though it looked kind of snug. I can't help but appreciate the smoothness of his scumbaggery. Thanks for putting up these old matches oh, we need to keep real pro wrestling alive.
How amazing was Bobby Heenan. He could put anyone over
Thank you for sharing the classics. Man Heenan could take a bump. Holy cow,,
Wrestlers today can see from these legends that you don't need steroids to get big. Just eat good and train good.
bobby heenan the greatest manager of all time wrestling this is cool
This was at a time when Wrestling was great. It's a shame that Vince McMahon Jr. turned Wrestling into a circus, and having Wrestlers fall from heights of 40 onto Barbed Wire and had no concern if the Wrestlers were severely injured or killed as long as he makes money from them.
It's not often you see someone manhandle Blackjack Mulligan like that, The Crusher was a beast! 💪
Rip Bobby Heenan😧
The crusher was always hilarious
Yes I will definitely stay tuned to more of your uploads. Your dad is awesome I love his interview segments with various wrestling legends from his AWA,WWF, and WCW years. Much greetings to the Okerlund family from a fan in the UK.
R.I.P. All Three Wrestlers. R.I.P. Bruiser & Sammy Menaker
I never seen these matches. I was too young back then to remember it all. Thanks for the education!
LOL I've just watched Mulligan v Heenan!
I’d walk a million miles for one of your smiles my dear old mother
I miss wrestling like this. I love it. 😊
"Pretty Boy" Bobby Heenan. 🤣
Yup. Classic Wrestling owns a vast library of wrestling matches from the 1950s - 1990s. Soon to have full pay per views for rental. Stay tuned for more uploads.
Anyone of these guys you wouldn't want to mess with. they can take alot of pain the regular joe dont train like these guys did back in the dsy. These guys were built like tanks.
What a great worker Heenan was! Dropkicks???
that was a great finish. I loved it. Never seen anything like that. The crowd went nuts for this match!
Bobby Heenan is great lol
Crusher and Dick "The Bruiser" were awesome!
I am here to watch Heenan wrestle .
In 1979, a new pro wrestling publication hit newsstands and magazine racks across the nation. It was Pro Wrestling Illustrated. When the first issue went to press, Crusher was ranked at #6 in the now defunct American Wrestling Association (AWA).
Bobby Heenan is my hero.
Love the crowd just eating it up.
Was there in Indy for this one.
This got uploaded on my Birthday.
From Indianapolis , I was there as 18 yr old - the great Bobby Heenan -
+Rip Rogers The late/great Nick Bockwinkle said that Bobby was an amazing performer. He even raised Bobby's worth over his own and Ray Stevens'. Heenan truly was a great heel and top performer. I'm happy to say, I was able to enjoy him live in the 1970s AWA. Thanks Bobby!
I like how Bobby has the glove on his claw hand like Blackjack
From the era of Bob Luce Wrestling....Indy, the International Amphitheatre in Chicago.....one of the BEST eras in pro wrestling!!
Pretty Boy Bobby Heenan! 🤣
Sure wish we could see Crusher And Dick The Bruiser vs say, Undertaker and Kane! Would be a great match we will never see....
Thanks for posting - this is from Indianapolis I believe.
Bobby heaven was a great managr
Bobby heanon was great wrestler
in the 70s I used to go see the crusher wrestle and I remember Bobby Heenan I remember Dick the Bruiser tool I remember when they fought the Road Warriors
"Fought the Road Warriors" is probably the wrong team, "get squashed" is probably more accurate.
The Crusher where is spiderman?
Yes, he sure could. In my opinion, he could take a bump better than any other manager. Cornette was a close second.
What year was this, and where did it take place?
1972?
Dick Bulldog Brower should of came to Indianapolis It would of been a three man tag team I would of liked to have seen Brower Bruiser and Crusher teamed together in a three man Tag Team
What year is this from?
8/5/1972
Where was this ???
Expo Center Indianapolis IN
@realclassicwrestling Is Mene Gene Okerlund your father?
Why was the late Gene Okerlund called "Mean Gene"?
Bobby Heenan was the best of the cowardly villains.
Is that Luna’s dad?
Yeah dude 😎 good match 👍 What is up? Man on man action 🔥 R U man enough?
Hey announcer the crusher doesn't need the bruiser to come out and save his ass !
Blackjack Mulligan is Barry Windham dad
If that were true, his name would be Blackjack Windham.
And he’s Bray Wyatt’s grandpa.
ex hockey player todd?
He used to be pretty Boy Bobby Henning
Heenan, not Hennig!
He gave them the Atomic Moe
Garden hose ropes lol. Blackjack always looked like a big dude wrestling in underwear and cowboy boots. An interesting look to say the least, not as bad as Wrestling #2 but still goofy.
The crusher no sells every thing.
Mulligan would beat the tar out of crusher in real life
yes no dout,he once humbled brusier brody
No way. The Crusher is the best!
Dear God, please allow me to revisit my childhood in peace without bringing up quantum mechanics and physics. Just this once.
