I'm glad to see that some of the old tapes survived. The old school may not have been as acrobatic, but it was far more entertaining.

Classic Bobby Heenan, entertaining the crowd as only he could. What a treasure he was.

I watched all these guys with my Dad in this era of wrestling. I was maybe 12 to 14 years old. He took me to see them live a couple of times. Great times. I miss you Dad.

Wrestling is one of the great things that brings families and all different generations together. I grew up watching with my Grandparents.

Early 70's, Heenan in his prime, taking crazy bumps. Too bad WWF fans never got to see him like this.

He took a number of bumps, and I got to see him and Ultimate Warrior in a weasel suit match but yes, with his neck he didn't take as many bumps but saved the best for Primetime with Gorilla, especially since they went to Old Tucson Studios

I have been watching wrestling for over 50 years and the failed dropkick right before the 4 minute mark was the single best thing I ever saw.

Bobby Heenan with a drop kick! Pretty neat dropkick too, though it looked kind of snug. I can't help but appreciate the smoothness of his scumbaggery. Thanks for putting up these old matches oh, we need to keep real pro wrestling alive.

This was at a time when Wrestling was great. It's a shame that Vince McMahon Jr. turned Wrestling into a circus, and having Wrestlers fall from heights of 40 onto Barbed Wire and had no concern if the Wrestlers were severely injured or killed as long as he makes money from them.

In 1979, a new pro wrestling publication hit newsstands and magazine racks across the nation. It was Pro Wrestling Illustrated. When the first issue went to press, Crusher was ranked at #6 in the now defunct American Wrestling Association (AWA).

+Rip Rogers The late/great Nick Bockwinkle said that Bobby was an amazing performer. He even raised Bobby's worth over his own and Ray Stevens'. Heenan truly was a great heel and top performer. I'm happy to say, I was able to enjoy him live in the 1970s AWA. Thanks Bobby!
