WWA Indianapolis around 1972. Blackjacks were top heel team in the area and I saw them in some all out “wars” with Bruiser & Crusher. Sam Menacker called the match. He replaced local sports icon Chuck Marlowe. I preferred Marlowe as an announcer. Note Lanza calls him Muchnick instead of Menacker?!? Assuming that’s a blooper. Of course Sam Muchnick ran the St Louis territory and also was for many years President of the entire NWA.

Heenan lived in Chicago's Lincoln Park when growing up.
Must be WWA because that's Sammy Menacker doing the commetary.
Should have been a helluva tag team match, what with Blackjack Mulligan and Blackjack Lanza, two rugged cowboys, going after easy prey. But it's as kayfabe as can be. One jobber is lifeless. The other, Jim Grabmire, can't invigorate his opponents enough when finally he gets in the match at 6:30. The one novelty: Both Blackjacks try to apply the same submission hold on Grabmire at the same time. Hey, fellas, he only has one neck and two arms.

Australian tag team? - All wrestlers are American with an American announcer (I know Sam Menecker announced in Australia but this is in U.S.A) with the match seeming to take place in America - so how Australian? I am not being a smart arse - just curious.
Because when tag team matches were invented, they were promoted as a special attraction (on British TV, even up to 1988 when wrestling was taken off the air, they would only run four tag team matches each year), and promoters called them "Australian Rules" to make them sound more exotic, and to differentiate them from all four men being in the ring at the same time (Tornado Rules).
