35 years later and their performance stands the test of time.

Wow the crowd was into this match. Great classic!!
4 Legends/Icons....Savage Bundy& Rude,All gone too soon, thank you for the wonderful memories..,you all gave us...R.I.P.. Amen. 🙏🏻
Rip Rick Rude and Randy Macho Man Savage forever missed
Now Bundy
People in 1984: I wonder what the world will be like in 2020.
People in 2020: Watching wrestling videos from 80s and wondering how they can get back to 1984.
Yes indeed.
If you can find a way back machine, let us know!
Rest in ☮️ Macho Man,Rick Rude, and Bundy.
This tag team match had two of the best bodies in wrestling.
This so so much better than today’s crap. Savage,Rude brilliant. Even Bundy was a great heel.
Jerry Lawler's red leotards look funny as HELL!
Wrestling will never be this good ever again
Thank you for upload ^^
R.I.P King Kong Bundy, Macho Man and Rick Rude :(
Great show! Thanks. All four wrestlers are among my all time favorites. 🙂
I wish Savage and Rude had feuded in the WWF.
It would’ve not be the same like here in the Memphis territory.
They would have made a great tag team: the wild antics of Savage with the cold tactics of Rude.
First time I’ve seen Macho Man do a airplane spin after Mike Rotundo’s finishing move.
The talent in that ring is epic..
Wow 3 of these guys are gone.
Savage was small they say but he always looks big to me. He’s just surrounded by giants even lawyer was a big dude, bundy was a giant. And Rick rude just had a great upper body. Macho man was great when it came to the crowd
Is it just me or does this feel weird without hearing Lance Russell?
No,it's not you
@@ginnymagurno7796 Randy hales a semi cocal local filled in and it was better to watch than to listen
Randy Hales and Corey Macklin were the two absolute worst on the mic. Lance Russell is the GOAT!!!
MY FRIEND JERRY THE KING LAWLER THE ONLY ONE STILL ALIVE. JERRY IS A CLASS GUY WHO HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT GREAT TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE EVER COME UP TO HIM TO TALK OR GET PICTURES OR AUTOGRAPHS. ONE HELL IF AN INDIVIDUAL. I HOPE GOD KEEPS JERRY SAFE FOR YEARS TO COME.
Rude would own any one of them in a brawl
Bundy? No way.
Wrestlers were scared of savage lol do your research savage brawled in real life
@@hoodratt1000 I fight MMA what does brawled mean? It means nothing
@@bluwngMMA is a joke.
What a classic!!! What was this Memphis?
Yes. This match took place at the Mid South coliseum
The greatest territory in all of wrestling.
@@henrick_the_lover it was but the end of the day, the north east always wins. We have better manners, better hustle, and the resting the country are living lazy and broke. My apologies if you’re from there. It’s beautiful to visit!
I grew up in West Helena, Arkansas (an hour south of Memphis) in the 80's watching Memphis Wrestling. I remember this match! In the 80's, the wrestling promotion was so good, the crowd actually believed that was these wrestling was selling was real life! The crowd lived and died with Jerry Lawler's battles with The First Family. While I have an appreciation for Lawler now days...back then I HATED him! I always rooted for the bad guys (my grandmother would get pissed at me for rooting for the bad guys...in constant disbelief when it came to why I'd ever want to root for the bad guys!).
There will never be another Memphis wrestling 80's style ever again. Watching these replays from the 80's is way better and entertaining than anything today. No doubt, today's wrestlers are better athletes and can do amazing stunts/athletic achievements in the ring. However when it came to the storyline...when it came to selling both the good and bad guy roles...these 80's wrestlers in Memphis have no peers!
That was awesome!!
6:24 baby throwing
See this was perfect size for Macho Man, He got to big in the WCW, Then he wasnt a High Flyer off the Top Ropes anymore, that juice fucked is head up.
macho is the best ever lol
There’s just no if and’s or but’s about it
Was this after Randy Savage left the first family?
4 great 80s stars, but its pretty much a stall match with little moves. Rude and Bundy should have feuded with Savage in the wwf.
4 future WWF main event
King Kong Bundy might've been the largest wrestler NOT in the WWE at the time
Surprised Bundy didn't do more in wrestling. He main evented WM2 and pretty much vanished after that.
Charlie Owens I think he lost interest in the business.
He vanished after taking out a midget wrestler at Wrestlemania 3
after the embarrassment with the midgets, he went to japan and stayed for years, alot of guys really love how wrestlers are respected and loved in japan
Bundy pretty much left after Jake The Snake Roberts manhandled him on Saturday Night's Main Event. Bundy won the match by DQ or maybe it was double DQ, but still it was the worst and most humiliating beating that Bundy took
in the WWF.
Where was Jimmy Hart?
One of strangest tag teams with Rude and King Kong Bundy
Also together in the heenan family in the wwf.
Savage vs Bundy in WWE would have been more classic
They missed some more with Bundy v Studd was once a chance, Or A Bundy and Andre V Studd and Hogan.
Would have watered down.
Is there a date for this?
10 September 1984.
Golly dang!... Jerry the king Lawler is like a new timex... takes a licking and keeps on ticking!...is he still alive?...
Man could Rude work...It seems like he does 70% of the real work in this match. In real life I bet Rick Rude could've kicked all three of these guys asses no problem.
rude and savage would be helluva fight in real life.
ive heard rick rude was the best real life fighter him and haku/meng were the best and ive heard only man that put fear into andre the giant was king harley race
Rude was the real deal but Haku could have beaten him .
Haku is a beast
Macho Man Randy Savage and Jerry "The King" Lawler could have won this match if Savage didn't hit that referee. lol
Now Jerry's not doing to good either , pretty soon everyone in this match will be gone...so sad
Rude looks HUUUGE here.
who's king king Bundy? lol. Sure you ment King Kong Bundy. 🤭
About 16 minutes into the video Lawler sells the shit out of that last pile driver... they both rolled backwards out of it... that's why they say," wrestling is fake"!... its not fake... its cool Entertainment...
When did this take place?
1985 Memphis.....Savage would turn heel soon after this and leave for WWF alongside Bundy. Rude stayed in Memphis and started a new team with Jim Neidhart.
"NWO 1986" invades WWF!!!? Bundy, Rude, Macho is the 3rd man!
The only one alive in this match is Jerry Lawler
That was a weird illusion at 1:47. Randy Savage appeared to kick Jerry Lawler in the head jumping back over the top rope
Lol
Lol
is this AWA? i have covid and at home
CWA aka Memphis Wrestling. Some of the greatest wrestling ever was 80s and early 90s wrestling. Hogan, Macho Man, Rude, Lawler, Funk, and many more. The Rock even got his start in Memphis Wrestling
And, like They sold it back in the day... ended with the whole Three Stooges' head banging back and forth...totl distractions factions... you'll see!...
Heh!!...4& a half minutes into the video...Rude wants to do a pose- off physique -freakshow...
1983
1986
10 September 1984, per the MSC's records.
@@essasalah8906 Savage was in WWF in 1986. It's 1984.
Lawler was so out of shape and had no wrestling ability. If he wasn't in charge he wouldn't have won every single match
Christ, what does it take to get a DQ????? Savage interfered in the match freakin' 10 times!
Oh Yeah! Dig It!
Christ was with him.
Too bad 2 immortal legends like Rude and Savage had to share a ring with the worst big man in wrestling and a guy who could only kick and punch.
Jerry Lawler: worst ring attire. blue wrestling singlet with orange tights! Macho Man looks ready to make the jump to WWF!
Islanders fan?
Well, it was the 80s….
king kong bundy? my wasted life
I love Jerry Lawler as a commentator but I feel that he is the most overrated wrestler of all time
Even worst than Hogan? I mean, you pretty much knew how every Hogan match was going to go.
Overrated how? All of his matches where entertaining.
Nah Jerry "The King" Lawler was a pretty good wrestler. Jeff Jarrett is the Most Overrated Wrestler of all time.
