    I had stem cell therapy. It changed and saved my life. And gave me a quality of life. I am 99.9% sure that I am the ONLY person on the planet who had stem cell therapy for my disease. I am making medical history. Im still sick. But I have a life worth living now.

      Can you give more details on where you had the stem cell therapy done, both the physical location of the doctor and what you were treated for? And Gibson's Mayo Clinic doc was deadset against stem cells until he spoke to Dr. Riordan. But don't listen to me - go listen to that podcast/watch the video. Excellent video and well worth your time, in my opinion. You may want to show it to your neurosurgeons and have them contact Dr. Riordan.

    Many thanks Dr. Neimark for your groundbreaking work on this revolutionary field of medicine. As a 76 year-old patient with chronic heart disease for the last 35 years, I'm totally fed up with big pharma's arrogance in just throwing drugs at our problems and laughing all the way to the bank while doing it! Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what doctors (with drugs!) have done for me in keeping me alive over all these years. My argument is that this gain in years of life has been achieved at a considerable price - both where my health and and financial costs are concerned. Thus, my question to you Dr. Niemark is, what are the prospects of your research on stem and pluripotent cell therapy being successful for patients with long standing infarct damage?

    This sounds fantastic. My biggest concern as a layman is cancer. From what I understand promoting lots of cell activity, and angiogenesis is a great way to promote cancer. But maybe it's not a big concern since it isn't a permanent increase in those things. There's also the stem cell theory of metastasis. That when stem cells become cancerous they are the reason cancers spread to other types of cells. All that being said, I'm still super excited about things like this.

    • @nneimark
      @nneimark 4 роки тому +6

      Yes but it’s trickier because of the blood brain barrier. Some docs will do an intrathecal injection which means right into the spinal canal and this bypasses the blood brain barrier which will not allow stem cells to get into the brain. You can also do an IV mannitol infusion prior to the stem cell infusion which will help open up the blood brain barrier so stem cells can enter and initiate a regenerative healing response. No one knows exactly how much they will help but there are cases where they have done good but no clinical studies that prove it so it’s still experimental. Good luck. DrN

    The ancient saying as Dr Neil said if some one killed a person as he killed the whole humanity, in fact its in the holy QURAAN to be precise in chapter 5 vers no 32:
    مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَٰلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي الْأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ
    “For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men; and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though he kept alive all men; and certainly Our apostles came to them with clear arguments, but even after that many of them certainly act extravagantly in the land.”
    So that people know the reference.
    It’s amazing how the designers has designed his creation with every step thoughts to provide us with an army which we cant see, and without them we wouldn’t have lived even hours, it must be food for thought for the Atheist who still thinks all that comes by chance, amazing.

And whoever saves a life of Israel, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.

      @@EagleRaid2 Stem Cells: An Insider's Guide 1st Edition
      “This is an opinionated but extremely knowledgeable introduction to the potentials and pitfalls of research in and applications of stem cells. The science is current, accessible, and well presented, but the best aspect of the book is its focus on ethical considerations associated with stem cell research. This is a fascinating book on important scientific, medical and consumer issues.” CHOICE Stem Cells: An Insider's Guide is an exciting new book that takes readers inside the world of stem cells guided by international stem cell expert, Dr. Paul Knoepfler. Stem cells are catalyzing a revolution in medicine. The book also tackles the exciting and hotly debated area of stem cell treatments that are capturing the public's imagination. In the future they may also transform how we age and reproduce. However, there are serious risks and ethical challenges, too. The author's goal with this insider's guide is to give readers the information needed to distinguish between the ubiquitous hype and legitimate hope found throughout the stem cell world. The book answers the most common questions that people have about stem cells. Can stem cells help my family with a serious medical problem such as Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, or Autism? Are such treatments safe? Can stem cells make me look younger or even literally stay physically young? These questions and many more are answered here. A number of ethical issues related to stem cells that spark debates are discussed, including risky treatments, cloning and embryonic stem cells. The author breaks new ground in a number of ways such as by suggesting reforms to the FDA, providing a new theory of aging based on stem cells, and including a revolutionary Stem Cell Patient Bill of Rights. More generally, the book is your guide to where the stem cell field will be in the near future as well as a thoughtful perspective on how stem cell therapies will ultimately change your life and our world.

      Stem Cell Therapy: A Rising Tide: How Stem Cells Are Disrupting Medicine and Transforming Lives
      Stem cells are the repair cells of your body. When there aren’t enough of them, or they aren’t working properly, chronic diseases can manifest and persist. From industry leaders, sport stars, and Hollywood icons to thousands of everyday, ordinary people, stem cell therapy has helped when standard medicine failed. Many of them had lost hope. These are their stories.
      Neil H Riordan, author of MSC: Clinical Evidence Leading Medicine’s Next Frontier, the definitive textbook on clinical stem cell therapy, brings you an easy-to-read book about how and why stem cells work, and why they’re the wave of the future.
